  1. I'd love to be able to have presets normal text, Title, Subtitle, Header 1, etc etc the way that Google Docs does. I rely, heavily, on visual hierarchy when it comes to text content. As such I'm big on using Various sizes of text. It's a pain to constantly hit enter > change text size > change font weight. Would love this feature. Would be EVEN better if I could tag my note with a link to my Google Drive that would then create the document (in a folder you'd set up when creating the tag) and have two way sync. This way I can keep documentation in ONE place (since I'd rather have some stuff private).
  2. It seems I'm unable to cut and paste links to Google docs in Evernote for Windows. First, I will paste the shareable link from Google docs into an Evernote note. Like this: Evernote then converts the link into the little Google docs "object" that has the Doc icon with the little menu on the right. Like this: I then select that object, cut, and then paste elsewhere in another note. When I paste, it's just an empty space, like this: Seems like a bug to me. Or am I doing something wrong?
  3. Google docs link are not working. Example: I have inserted a google doc link into an evernote-note, using the "Attach file from google drive" shortcut found in the "Editing toolbar" of the note. However, when I click on the attached file, nothing happens. It is not because the link is dead, or the attached file has been deleted, because I can still copy the link from the attachment, and insert it into the browser, which opens the google doc. It worked last week and I cannot remember that I have changed anything... Any suggestions?
  4. Newbie here. A search for "Google Docs Web Clipper" turned up over 700 threads, so I apologize in advance for not having read them all. Anyway, I wanted to try a presentation based on a Google doc. What I want to do is: Browse to a Google Doc I own Clip it with the Chrome Web Clipper Sync to the Mac App In the Mac App, annotate it Present it with annotationsIssues: I was having trouble getting it to do what I wanted, so a few times, after step 3 above and attempts at 4, I deleted the note in the app. Following this, new attempts to clip appeared to succeed, but the App wouldn't sync -- the doc no longer became available in the Mac App following a sync. After closing and reopening the Mac App, multiple copies from the earlier tries showed upThis was kind of a bore, but not my main issue(s) Prior to attempts to annotate, I tried a presentation with the document as downloaded.I tried the "spacebar" method of skipping to the next section of the docIt's a multipage doc, with headers, images, etc. The spacebar took me halfway down the first page, but on repeated presses, no further. Also a bore, but also not my main issue(s). I can always scroll.Attempting to annotate, I could annotate the first page, but there was no way to scroll the doc down past the first page to continue annotating. Thus, I could not do what I wanted at all.Summary: Sync failed. Presentation failed. Annotation failed. All in all a disappointment. But if there are workarounds, I'd like to hear them.
  5. I need to convert german into english automatically when I scan the documents. Is that possible to do as auto setting with scansnap+evernote or scansnap+google-docs?
  6. Does anyone know if it is possible to insert an Evernote note link (internal link, not shared public link) into a Google Doc spreadsheet and have it be live? Their syntax is =hyperlink("www.google.com","Click here") THat will put "click here" in a cell and it will be blue and underlined and clickable. If I put =hyperlink("evernote:///view/234q12l4123412341234....","Click Here") in the cell (obviously I faked that link, but the evernote:///view/ part is how EN links start) I just get a "click here" in the cell with no clickability and it isn't blue or underlined. So, is there any way to make it work? For what it is worth, if I take the full link and put it in Chrome's URL bar, it opens the local note just fine, so I know the browser can handle it.
  7. We need a better typography in Evernote. Pls see as it done in Google Docs: paragraph styles, space after paragraphs instead of manually breaks, first line indents etc. Dear developers! Please let us do a better typography.
