  1. I have been trying to install the Update 5.8.4.6870 on my Windows 7 Home Premium computer. I receive the following error messages: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable The file "C:\Users\stephen\AppData\Local\Temp' is not a valid installation package for the product Evernote v 5.8.1. Try to find the installation package Evernote.msi in a folder from which you can install Evernote v. 5.8.1. The older version of Evernote v 5.8.4 cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group. (.\Bootstrapper.cpp:915) Ox643:fatal error during installation. I backed up my existing data files to another folder, then tried to uninstall my current Evernote. When I clicked Uninstall, the exact same error messages came up. My current version of Evernote is 5.8.3.6507 Has anyone out there had the same problem? Does anyone know a fix? Oh help, please, help!

I just upgraded my Evernote account from Plus to Premium via the Mac App Store (linked to from within the app) and the upgrade did not take effect in the app. I was billed successfully and the Mac App Store shows the subscription updated as charged. I have restarted the app and checked my account on the Evernote website and it has not been upgraded. (And, of course, I can't chat with anyone since that's only a Premium option which I apparently don't have yet.) Please correct. Ticket 1480138.
  3. Hello My system tells me that i need to upgrade to 5.8.8. After multiple attempts I get a recurring error message when trying to uninstall the previous version that it cant find evernote.msi on the CD/DVD drive. Not having ever installed via this route and now having no option to either update or uninstall and start again, am slightly confused as to how I can either stay with the current product you provide without the constant update messages or as to how I can uninstall so I can migrate to a competitors product if this cant be solved. I look forward to hearing from you.
  4. Today, Evernote started giving me an error message when trying to sync whether I sync manually or at its appointed time. The message says "Sync failed due to unexpected problem server side." I tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions in the Knowledge base, but nothing is working. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it? I had been working in EN for about half a day and out of no where it just quit syncing. Thanks for any suggestions!
  5. Hi, I'm a user of Evernote of China - the "Yinxiangbiji". Recently, My Evernote can't sync. I tried to use VPN, delete the wrong notes balabala ... But, finally, I failed. Does someone can explain the problem?
  6. WTH is going on with Evernote? i have been unable to sync for several days due to an "unexpected server side error". My account is in good standing and my passwords are correct. I can log into the web and make updates but sync fails across ALL my devices - tablet, windows, phone, etc. WORST OF ALL, I AM LOSING DATA. Every time it attempts to sync it wipes out any updates i've made to existing notes. I have seen this problem posted in various forums, threads, etc. EVERNOTE - What is going on?! This is unacceptable - this is the core of your business model, and as a paying customer, i expect to NEVER lose data. I am extremely unhappy and upset with losing data due to your service.
