I have been a premium customer for years but never ran into this problem: evernote caps the number of folders-at 250. While in theory a limit is not unreasonable, what I find very objectionable is that I, a premium customer who pays $70/year, has the same limit as a person who opens a free account. In fact I think this may be the only major feature that does not upgrade as you go from free to plus to premium. I really think it is ridiculous and would expect to have a limit of at least 500 or 1000. Better yet would be no limit as this is kind of stupid anyway for paying customers. We should be given flexibility, not constraints when paying for a service.

Hi all, I am currently having an issue with the searchability of documents when using the Scansnap Cloud service. I am currently using an Scansnap ix500 scanner. WHEN I DO USE SCANSNAP CLOUD (WIRELESS) Currently, I have Scansnap Cloud set up such that all documents go straight to Evernote (as can be seen in the first attached picture). However, when the documents arrive in Evernote, they are not searchable/OCR'd. WHEN I DON"T USE SCANSNAP CLOUD (WIRED) When I have a wired connection and send the documents to Evernote through Scansnap's "quick menu" (from the included software CD - see the second attached picture), the documents arrive in Evernote and are indeed searchable (OCR'd). Why am I having this issue? At first, I though that the WIRED option runs the OCR on my computer and THEN sends it to Evernote (whereas under the WIRELESS option there may be no OCR on the Scansnap Cloud server side before it is sent to Evernote). However, doesn't Evernote have OCR capabilities on their end as well (and so it shouldn't matter whether the document has been "pre OCR'd" before arriving)? Or is OCR only a premium feature?

Hello. I use EN for my CRM and love it. I think it would be great if somehow Context could pick up and include internet headlines and news associated with a particular note or even topics within a note in addition to connecting to other notes. For example, if I have a note titled "Company X", it would be great if in context included (news) headlines from the internet on Company X. What do you think? I searched other comments, feature requests and forums for this idea but didn't see anything. Thoughts??

Dear Evernote Team, dear Fellow Users, maybe I'll never make it beyond the often quoted 5 % user ,however, at this time it is still my intention to go further. My usual approach with new or updated software is to look for what is commonly referred to as handbook/helpfile, nowadays generally provided in the form of a downloadable pdf file. Despite looking into the software's hidden corners and company site, I have not been able to find any reference to in-depth documentation. Surely such stuff exists!? So, please, where can I get my copy? I need it and I want it [for the sake of comparison and why I feel entitled to such documentation, I'd like to mention my subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal, Euro 69 p.a. prepaid, so Evernote is pretty much in the same price category. And as I also subscribe to Adobe's Photography Plan I feel qualified enough to pass judgement on what the paying customer can expect altogether].

Hello, I'm new to Evernote and am considering signing up for Premium. My only concern is that if I ever decide to return to the standard service, I'll lose all of the larger files that I'm able to create in Premium, but that are too large for standard. Is this a valid concern…is that how it works? Thanks

Hi I tried to find some information on this but I could not find an answer: Regarding the "track changes" feature of Evernote Premium: When I work on a text document - how many times a day will Evernote produce a version (snapshot) of that document? I am asking because I want to use that feature as a backup solution for writing in times when my computer gets hung up or whenever I need to go back to the history of my document no matter wether it is one minute ago, one hour, one day or one week. Evernote just tells me that it produces several times a day just a snapshot? And will that be a pdf or a workable text document? Thanks for answers. Vulgo

Looking for guidance on organizing my Evernote data ... I am a premium user, and I must purchased the scansnap and LOVE IT. I have been using evernote primarily for work and a small percentage of personal info. I purchased the scanner to go as paperless as possible for my personal data. Question: would you recommend having two evernote accounts- work and personal? Thanks for the input!

My Android phone has the ability to add an Evernote note to calender events. The free version of Evernote allows for, typed and handwritten notes, camera shots, and audio recordings to be included in the note with PDFs the only document type to be attached to the note. Does the premium version of Evernote enable Micrososft Office documents to be included in, or attached to notes as well? The Premium Version information says that Office documents become "searchable" but I'm unclear as to what this really means.
