  1. About a month ago after an update I noticed one of my notes was showing content in the preview bar but the note itself was empty. How can I fix it? It doesn't appear to be happening to any other notes. Thanks!
  2. Last night, when I attempted to open a note on my Android device that I had been writing for the past week, the note would not open. Then a message appeared that I was trying to sync a corrupted note, and gave me two options to recover the note. I selected the option to send the note to Evernote for analysis. Then I was returned to the Evernote home screen, and the content of the note was totally erased. The note still showed in my note list, but all content and the heading of the note were empty, and a red exclamation mark icon was displayed in the top right of the note on the note list, where normally an upward arrow displays if the note has not been synced. I have checked my trash folder in Evernote, as well as my Evernote account on the Windows application and Evernote web. The note does not display in any of these places at all, although the empty note with the heading "Untitled Note" still displays on my Android device. Therefore I am unable to use the note history function to retrieve the content that was in the note. I upgraded to Evernote Premium just to use this feature, but it does not help me. This note contained all of my writings for the last week. Evernote has erased a large amount of irreplaceable data, and I need to retrieve it. Please help me. This is one of three occasions that my writings on Evernote have been lost without explanation. I think that this kind of event negates the purpose Evernote. This is really an unforgivable error for an application which users rely on solely for the purpose of preserving their data. For this reason, I've begun looking for alternative applications.
  3. In August of 2017 I searched Evernote on my Android device for a key word I had written recently in a note. However, the search gave no results. So I searched for other key words I had used, and also there were no results. Then I looked back over my recently saved notes and noticed that a week's worth of my notes were missing. I found that all my notes from 8/4/17 through 8/9/17 had disappeared. I checked on my Evernote Windows application and Evernote Web and the notes were missing there too. There were also no notes from that period in my trash. Does anyone have any idea how I can recover my notes? I already submitted a ticket... 4. I have just noticed that all my notes for an entire week are missing, between 8-3-17 to 8-10-17. I have checked my trash folder and the desktop version of Evernote, and the notes are not there. The notes were made on the Android smartphone app (which is how I make all my notes). The Evernote app I am using is the latest version. Please help.
  5. I have had numerous occurrences where my evernote notes are deleted. I will save a note, close it, and come back later only to find all of the content of my note to be completely gone and wiped away. I have had this happen a few times now and can't afford to keep loosing information. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue? I think it might have something do due with syncing between my computer, tablet, and phone, but I am not sure. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
  6. Yesterday my Macbook had to be restarted. The version of Evernote that now appears contains nothing that I have added (hundreds of notes) from the last year. It is all still there on my phone version. Tried syncing. Tried signing in with same info as phone acct. Stumped! thanks
  7. I have been an Evernote user on Android for about 5 months and yesterday I lost all of my notes. It happened after connecting my android (myTouch 4g) to my Windows XP laptop via USB cable. The laptop does not have Evernote on it. After downloading some photos from the android gallery to PC, I needed to refer to a note in Evernote. Upon starting Evernote it reported: "Evernote requires SD card. The SD card is not accessible when the phone is connected to your PC". Fair enough. However, when I disconnected the android from the laptop, then restarted Evernote I received this message dialog: "Evernote requires SD card. Preparing SD card". Upon clicking OK on that dialog Evernote exited. When I restarted Evernote all notes were gone. I now have zero notes. What the??? Is this a known bug? Is there a way to recover these notes? Thanks in advance for any help in getting my notes back.
