  1. Hello, all. I'm new to Evernote and can't wait to get started, but I'm confused about something. It seems that after I created my account, I have access to a web version, so why is there a download feature? Do I need to download on all of my devices? I want to use Evernote on my desktop and laptop (macs) and on my iPad and iPhone. How do I go about getting them to all access my Evernote account? Do I need to download on all devices or does Evernote work web-based in the cloud? Thank you.
  2. Can Evernote provide the download link for old version 6.5.4 Public 304720? The latest update to 6.7.5 Public 305825 is terrible. It was working perfectly fine in the older version. Now there's a large left margin for every note, a great waste of space. Also, line spacings are mysteriously lost when pasting in copied text.

    Download all PDFs from Evernote

Greetings fellow Evernote users. I am trying to find a way to download the PDFs I have saved in Evernote to my computer. I have so many notebooks that they are not all syncing and I want to have access to them so I want to download them to my Computer then upload them to my could drive. Any ideas or suggestions instead of going through each notebook individually? Thank you in advance.
  4. I'm trying to install the drivers for SSEE on a new Mac computer. When I enter evernote.com/scansnap, I'm now directed to the download page for the Evernote software not the SSEE drivers. My Evernote software does not recognize my SSEE because of the lack of proper drivers. As I recall in the past, there was one package that contained both the drivers and the Evernote software. This appears not to be the case any longer. Can someone direct me to the proper location to download the SSEE drivers and scan manager software? I've spent several hours yesterday and today trying to find this elusive software, but the only pages I can find for the iX500 scanner are for the non-Evernote edition directly from the Fujitsu web site. This is not the proper software. Help greatly appreciated. -- Carl

  7. All, Since I can't seem to find a Webmaster Contact for Evernote. I am unable to download the application to install it on my Windows Computer. I've attached a screenshot of the error. Is there an alternate link that I can get the application from?
  8. Is there an easy way to download all my notes via Linux then delete them all from the evernote servers? If I delete my notes does this actually mean they will be removed from ALL evernote servers/databases etc??? Reasons: No Linux client, pricing, privacy (who knows when they will come up with new ideas about reading our notes), evernote web sucks
  9. The syncing speed for the Evernote desktop app after migrated to GCP is slower than before. Is there any speed limit for user to sync with the server? Also, the connection with the server sometimes dropped. It happens every few days. Please advise what if the data transfer have limitation even for subscription users.
  10. Hello, I'm a relatively new Premium Evernote User. Recently, I tried accessing some of my PDF documents I added to Evernote from my Windows desktop application. I can read and access the PDF documents just fine on the Windows platform. (picture 1) However, when I go to the same notes on my iPhone 5s there is a "placeholder" with an instruction to download the PDF file (picture 2). {See Pictures} My question, is the way the Evernote Application with PDF's is suppose to behave? If I download the same PDF file to my iTunes file, I can at least read the PDF file in my iBooks reader after syncing the device. Any help on "how Evernote works with PDF's to the iphone" will be helpful. Thanks

  13. I'm a premium user. I can't update my Evernote App on the iPhone 5S. I tried to update the app straight on my PC and got an error. So I tried to update the app straight from the Iphone 5S and got the same error. I've tried several times. I've updated other apps (just now) with no problems and no network connection issues. Attached is the snapshot of the error message. I also have a iPod (older ios 6.1) that has the Evernote App but I don't update that APP as Apple hasn't updated that ios for years. Any suggestions on how to update the Evernote App? Thanks dCote
  14. Hi There. Is There a way to download the whole notes once and for all? Or do i have to do IT manually one by one? Thanks for your help.
  15. For a couple of weeks now, I keep getting update notices. I try to update. I can see the content downlading. At the end of the download, I get, "An error occurred while downloading the update. Please try again later." Your help is appreciated! Thanks.
  16. When trying to DL Evernote it starts a DL proccess but then I get a message: Could not download...Try later" This goes on 10 days.
  17. Hi there, I have noticed that sharing notes with several pdfs or image attachments (notes > 5 MB) results in very slow download speeds for the 3rd parties trying to view it. Similarly, attaching images or small videos (15mb) to notes and syncing them is very slow as well (~350kb/s). Are upload/download speeds capped? Or can we configure this somewhere? Thanks.
  18. Dear Experts and User Friends: I am here to appeal a serious defect as an Evernote Business customer, because there seems to be NO any effective method to feedback the issue, or get effective resolution through the official channel of customer services. The issue I met is very simple and clear, for me, should be same for all the other Evernote users. The defect/issue is: When the network connection is in a slow bandwidth (say < 10k Byte/Sec ), there is NO way to complete downloading any big attachment files (including the JPG files) that is attached in the note. About how "Big" the file would be, I can only give my felling: any downloading process that could last > 1 minute, will probably be broken due to the server dropping the connection. This issue happens in all the Evernote client, including: Windows PC, Mac PC, IOS, Android, and Web client. The phenomenon is the downloading can normally start, while after the "timeout threshold" ( I just named it as I never know if there is real a threshold factor set in the server application), the download will be interrupted by server. I significantly realized there do have this case is some time in early week of November 2014, before that time frame everything looks working fine in my PC, until I found the new note could not be synced to my PC client application at that time. Then I starting to try it in the other platforms: Mac, IOS, Android and finally the Web client. Because my internet connection speed is a little slow to Evernote main website (as I am in China mainland), this phenomenon maybe easier happen in my environment rather than the perfect environment. So I finally figure out the condition that can test and recreate this issue: In any network situation, when you manually narrow down the bandwidth with flow control app or by the router, make the linking speed to Evernote client is in a low bandwidth connection (to easily testing, say < 10k Bytes/Sec), then the attachment (say > 5M Bytes) cannot finish the downloading, to anyone including Evernote engineer. I tried the Evernote China Local service (Yin Xiang Bi Ji), because I was told by Evernote service guys that would be no issue in that system. Same issue happened in the condition above. I kept reporting this issue from early December 2014 through Evernote service request system, as the Ticket# 834979 , however, 2 months past, no effective answer and action was taken or given through that system. That is why I have to appeal this case in this forum. Maybe Evernote think the low bandwidth should not suitable for the application, then it is better that Evernote clarify the restriction of the terms. On the other hand, a 10k Byte/Sec speed is not such a "SLOW" bandwidth, many mobile environment (2.5G, 3G) can easily below such speed. Also, if 10KB/S is too slow for a 5MB file, then even 100KB/S is still too slow for a 50MB, or 100MB file, there is no reason to have such a reasonable "restriction" while Evernote claims can support as large as hundreds M attachment. And, even in such "LOW-bandwidth" environment, the any other application such as Google, Microsoft... will not stop the downloading process even the downloading will last as long as 10+ minutes, or even longer. there is no any technical reason for such restriction. Finally, the process of feedback and getting the service from evernote supporting is really frustrate process. 2 months passed, there is still no effective answers and assistants to me (I am still a business user by payment), except the pushing here and there, asking me to capture the logs again and again... Even I have help Evernote to identify the recreation condition, and get the confirmation that Evernote team has confirmed this is an issue, I was still ask to provide logs for help request. I can not understand how this kind of service will support a business or enterprise services as a cloud service provide, like Goolge, MS, Apple, Dropbox, or any other cloud service company. Is this supposed to be a shame of the well-known EVERNOTE? How do other users think? I think so...
  19. Moving a PDF between notes could be easier. I don't expect it should work as it does on desktop, and it doesn't work on iOS either, however, Android could be able to do that easy via download download folder and re-attaching of the PDF. I can download a PDF from a note to "Download" folder in my Home directory. When I try to attach it, the Download folder is not listed as one of the option in left pane shortcuts and it doesn't show up in the list of available options to attach from. Evernote shows gallery, recent, Google drive and all kinds of folders..., but it doesn't display the Download folder. I have to go to "internal storage" and browse to Download folder to get to the PDF. Please list Download folder in the list of shortcuts to be able attach PDFs faster. Thanks.
  20. Hi everyone, Since downloading Evernote 6, I have been unable to see the notes I have previously created and (I assumed) saved. I can see the title, and occasionally a note will download seemingly by its own free will, but existing notes are not there when I start up the app, as they were before. Extremely frustrating when I need to access the content of the notes. Anyone have the solution? Thanks, Louise
  21. Now that version 6 is in the App Store, I want to switch from my "download" vers. to the App Store's one, but I've read that the two types store the data in different locations. However, since everything's on the Evernote servers for syncing anyway, do I need to backup anything on my computer before making the switch? Can I just sweep my computer for anything EN related and trash it, download the App Store version, and then log in from that version? Are the notes even on my hard drive?

  23. The problem I love to clip pages to my Evernote - it does a great job of bookmarking (i.e. capturing the url) and storing (capturing the page content, etc). But I often just have a URL, if it's a link that someone sent me, or because I'm on iOS (the mobile clipper's are terrible) The solution I'd like to post a link in the url field in a note, and have Evernote itself grab the article rather than my browser. This would be far more stable and would mean a better experience on iOS - I could just copy and paste the URL into Evernote and not worry about the browser/clipper again.
  24. Hello Mr. Evernote, Perhaps this is not the right place for this kind of communications, but I couldn't find any other way to get in contact with you sir... You might be interested to know that at the moment, from your website, it is not possible to reach the download page. How to reproduce this issue? Open the Homepage (http://evernote.com) Scroll down till the footer Click on the "Download Evernote" button in the bottom right corner The page is reloaded with a hashtag appended at the end of the URLI tried on 2 different laptops, both Windows 8 64-bit, with both Chrome (Evernote Web Clipper extension installed, if it matters) and IE. Logging into your website didn't make the trick. At the end Mr. Google gave me the direct link to the download page, but you might want to look into this issue. Cheers, Mirko Grewing
  25. Hello All, Is there a way to download a notebook or all the notebooks at once. I didn't find that. I am a free account user. If that feature is in premium account, I can upgrade. Just want to know if that feature exist or not. In general , I like to keep saving data on my machine in case they are lost by my mistake from the account ( I know trash is there but still ). I am new to evernote forums , if this topic exists already, please point me to that and sorry for spamming in that case.
