  1. Hi Evernone, I currently work as a senior learning technology advisor in Perth Western Australia. I am doing some research on digital literacy in the context of teaching and learning. I am looking at digital tools trends education. I would love to hear from you if you are a teacher or a student using Evernote. Here are a few questions to start with Are you a teacher or student? Are you using Evernote in a language other than English? If you are teaching, what subject / year level (primary/secondary/tertiary/professional development and or technical college/further education) If you are a student/learning what subject / year etc Which country are you currently teaching/learning? How do you use Evernote? Teachers Repository ? Clipping lots of pages, storing documents. 360 tool (you're using it for pretty much everything) Please share your workflow Flipped Learning eLearning/blended learning Portfolio If you don't mind sharing your process please share your ideas. If you would prefer you can send me a private message that is fine. How do you use Evernote? Students - Repository ? Clipping lots of pages, storing documents. 360 tool (you're using it for pretty much everything) Please share your workflow Scratch pad: you do your drafts, collect evidence Portfolio If you don't mind sharing your process please share your ideas. If you would prefer you can send me a private message that is fine. This is a preliminary questionnaire and I will develop a much more comprehensive one depending on the replies. I can keep you updated if you wish so please message me your email address so that I can contact you in the future. Thank you
  2. Er... This might seem weird. I'm new here, never posted before. But I wanted to share my wishlist of desired features, other than on Twitter. Please see my post here: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s121/sh/69912bfe-7304-41ce-9cef-d5f47fa2178b/1882a20f0968e686e5f3825e0ec537b8?noteKey=1882a20f0968e686e5f3825e0ec537b8&noteGuid=69912bfe-7304-41ce-9cef-d5f47fa2178b Thanks very much for reading Is it okay if I point out that I think that we people who use Evernote have a completely unfair advantage over the rest of the world, because our lives are all sorted, stored and searchable? Regards, Brad.
  3. i want create new extensions for evernote so i would like a little help of the community. Who could help me in this? i am not speak too much English.... i hope you understand me! thanks for your help!
  4. Greetings Evernote. I would like to know if I can search inside arabic PDFs. That would be awesome if you could support the Arabic language for OCR-recognition. This is very important for me since I use it for my work assignments. I hope you make my wish come true. Here are some facts about the Arabic script: There are 28 letters in the alphabet. Every letter that can be attached to another letter has 3 forms depending on where in the word it is. It looks one way when it is in the beginning of a word. It looks one way when it is in the end of a word. And it looks in another way when it is somewhere in the word but not in the beginning and the end. I think that you might be interested in checking out the following website: http://www.sakhr.com/index.php/en/solutions/ocr At least they might be able to answer some questions. Thank you. Best wishes. Please make this happen.
  5. I just took shipment of a MacBookR. Now how great would it be to be able to ditch my iPad on the move by having Penultimate for OS X? Think of penultimate with force touch using the track pad as the writing area - inklet is close in concept but there are no apps to use with it really... plllleeeeeaaassseee

  7. I am not sure where this question fits, so I am happy to be guided, or pointed at the right place within the forum. I use Evernote relentlessly for productivity. It would be nice to think "Getting Things Done on Steroids". I keep notes for every action. I regular make lists of notes, and lists of lists etc... for which Evernote is a perfect tool. Because of the way I work, maintaining an overview, and summarising my position is useful. Making a dashboard report out of the various Evernote parameters would be ideal. i.e. How many Notes are there in Notebook_A, how many notes are there tagged with both #TagA and #TagB. Therefore my question is as follows. Is there a way to access these parameters from any useful reporting front-end. This could be either Excel, Access, from within Wordpress, perhaps with shortcodes, or even straight HTML? Has anyone come across, or built any simple reporting application which uses Evernote Parameters to generate summary output that can then be manipulated? Many thanks, Karl.
  8. Is is possible to copy note links in a user desired order (in the same way as can be done with Merge)? Example: The following notes are created in chronological order: Note A, Note B, Note C, Note D ..they are displayed as Note D, Note C, Note B, Note A ..if they are all selected and a Table of Contents Note is generated the result is.. Note D, Note C, Note B, Note A ..which is fair enough BUT if notes are then selected in the following order (CTRL Click) Note B, Note D, Note C, Note A ..and the do a Right Click -> Copy Note Links, instead of Create Table of Contents Note, and the links are pasted to somewhere the result is still the same as before i.e. Note D, Note C, Note B, Note A ..not exactly what was wanted. It would be very useful to "Copy Note Links" in a desired order (similar to the functionality of Merging documents). (Q. Do the Evernote team scan all new posts as it would be useful to have this functionality?)
  9. What is the status of the egretlist functionality getting included in Evernote? Is there a to do making functionality from the notes to todo's in development?
  10. I saw this morning that Evernote has released two new apps for the iPad. One is intended to aid in remembering and sharing dining experiences, and the other is intended to aid in the remembering of people's faces. Yes, these may be nice and even creative elements in the Evernote repertoire. But has Evernote pursued these at the expense of refinements to the editor suggested in the many fine threads in this forum? I would rather see Evernote remain a thick, strong, beefy, robust product than a thin, fishy, wiry product. Don't become the Google of notes. Remember your roots! Just my 2 cents.
