  1. Hi Community, I'm reaching out to you because I I have found it impossible to receive help from Evernote Support. My problem is stated below I changed my email address just over 2 years ago because we changed our business name I wished to update my Evernote account settings to reflect the new email address I was unable to change the email address in my account settings to the new email address. It just wouldn't process the request I started a new Evernote account with the new email address as a solution All my devices automatically opened the old account, so i just continued using the old account. Plus I have a lot of content on there Additionally now, the old account can't edit to my new email address because there is an account (my new one) with the same email address The old account is ineffective at communicating with Evernote because all responses are sent to the old email address which is now inactive I had a glimmer of hope once I tried communicating with Evernote via their FB Page. Someone called Dorothy responded with some great solution ideas Dorothy's suggestion: Login to new account - shut down/deactivate new account - login to old account - change email address now there is no competing email address from new account - problem should be resolved Dorothy also picked up that I had 2 support tickets from July 2016 and February 2017. No one ever responded to these tickets Problem: Every time I attempt to open the new account to follow these instructions I receive a red pop up stating that the new account has been deactivated and would I like to reactivate it? There is no action for reactivating so I am stopped at this point Can anyone offer any solutions for me? Any help will be gratefully accepted.
  2. Premium user here. I'm having a problem (unrelated to this), and I'm trying to contact support. But that's causing a new problem: it's impossible to contact support because the Evernote website keeps presenting me with a bug each time I attempt to load the contact form, and the bug causes an infinite look asking me to sign in, then appearing again. The error message says, "Unexpected error. Our server has experienced difficulties processing your request (/SupportLogin.action). You may need to sign into your account to access this page." The problem is: it says this even when I'm signed in. Then, if I follow the "sign in" link and try to submit another request, it says the same thing. On and on infinitely. So as of right now there's no way for me to contact support from the Evernote website, and there's no email address listed anywhere. What's the deal? See attached for error message.
  3. Hello, I hope all's well. I just got out of a chat room with rep which was a less than pleasant experience. I had a series of concerns to address regarding billing and features. When I told her that a feature was not working for me and that it never has, her response was "It should work." This was not the sympathetic or apologetic or even bewildered response I was expecting from a CSR. While I did get all of my questions answered, the rep's shortness and apparent irritation with me throughout the entire chat session made this less than pleasant experience -- a very different experience from what I've previously experienced with Evernote. Thanks.
  4. I'm curious what other customer's experiences are with Evernote Support and, specifically, the responsiveness to support requests. I submitted a support question two weeks ago and have not yet received a response. I am currently a Premium customer after using a coupon for three months of free service. That trail period ends in February, so I've got to determine if I want to continue as a paying customer. The customer support so far, has been underwhelming. What are other people's experiences? Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi My credit card has just been charged £34.99 without any prior notification from Evernote.. Surely this is not correct. Nor can I find anywhere to contact Evernote customer service department?
  6. Hello everyone, I recently renewed my Evernote premium subscription via iTunes, however, it is still not reflected in either the Evernote mac app or the web version. I am basically not able to use premium features. I already submitted a ticket for this to Evernote but since I am downgraded to a free account while this is pending, I haven't gotten a response from Evernote yet (since December 5th). This is frustrating as it is really affecting my workflow. I could not find a phone # to reach Evernote customer service but a few people suggested posting the ticket # to the forum. So in case a customer service representative is reading this post, the ticket number is 857314. Thanks
  7. I couldn't get into Evernote - forgot my password. I tried having the verification code sent to the phone numbers I provided - they never came through. I tried submitting a ticket through their website - it wouldn't "send" it. The live "chat" button is always grayed out. Did find a phone number that seemed to connect me to their California office, but was only able to leave a voice mail. I finally, after two days, found the Back-up codes that I'd printed out - which did get me back in. Going to have to think about re-upping my subscription.
  8. Tomorrow will be a week since I've received a reply from Evernote tech support about a synchronization issue. The speed of response used to be faster - has anyone else noticed a decline in the speed or quality of support from Evernote?
  9. Hi All - I've been a long time user of Evernote on a personal level, and have recommended their product to many people and even businesses. However, my recent experience left me very bitter about them. I've thought of them to be a nice friendly company, who although aren't perfect, do want to please. But apparently.... I don't have much words. Here is what happened. I've been using evernote for personal use for many years. I do business consulting. I was working with a specific company, who needed much help with their customer file organization. While working with them to build a database, I had them use evernote temporarily. Not a solid or permanent solution at all, but with evernote's business accounts, we were able to make it work. Needless to say, a whole lot of very critical data and information was in there. Obviously we kept backing it up and saving copies, but at the speed that the business was preforming, at any given moment, there was critical information which we needed to rely on evernote for. Somehow, the account wasn't renewed. And, we tried renewing the account, but it said that if we want to get back all of our notes (critical notes!) we need to contact evernote directly. We have filled out a handful of tickets on their website with our email and phone numbers - all clearly saying how critical it was for them to get back for a time sensitive issue of our data. Some of them read - - My account was somehow closed. We have very very very important information in there. Also time sensitive. We have about 45 customers trying to.... - You closed my account, and our entire business is on it! Please help... This was an extremely time sensitive matter. This was a glitch that costed literally thousands of dollars! True the company should have been backed up more appropriately, but that's why they hired me, and changes don't happen overnight. Evernote should have been able to handle this, and should have gotten back to us. We've tried endlessly and with continued failure to contact evenote on July 17th with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE! Unbelievable. Shocking. Then - out of no where - on August 26th - over a month later! we get the following message from evernote - ------------------------- Evernote Support (Evernote Support) Aug 26 12:12 Thank you for contacting Evernote customer support. We are unable to personally answer your inquiry. I'm closing this request today and encourage you to find the answer to your inquiry via a search on the Evernote Support page or with our active user community in theEvernote forums. If you are having issues with login, account access, or a purchase, please reply to this email and we will respond to you as soon as possible. The Evernote Support team ----------------- No explanation. No further options for help. No compassion. No resolutions. Are they for real???? It says in the message that if there are further concerns, I should write back. At this point, the money is lost, and the damage is done. Nevertheless, I wrote back on August 26th - same day. So far nothing. No response. No communication. I am truly shocked, and disgusted. In business, while trying to make money, we have the opportunity to be good people, and give to the people around us. Good business. Good people. That's my methodology. Not with them. No real people... definitely no good people. Again, all I can say is shocking. Whoever would like can contact me at abeconfidential123@gmail.com Abe
