  1. Love Evernote, long-time premium user... I've just upgraded to a new iPhone 8+ and discovered that the Evernote camera interface doesn't support the telephoto lens. I frequently use Evernote for note taking at conferences and presentations, and it's great to be able to snap a photo of a slide as part of my notes. I'm frequently seated far enough from the screen that the telephoto (2x) lens would be the best choice for a clear image, but Evernote's camera interface is one of the very few that does not give the ability to use the second camera. The iPhone 8+, X and many Android phones now have a second telephoto lens, would love to see Evernote add a simple toggle to the interface to use it.
  2. A little cheeky to post in Evernote's forum, even under the Third Party Applications section, but lots of folks have an interest in OneNote as well as Evernote.. Check out the latest information - The Microsoft Office team has announced today the upcoming launch of its first-ever Learn OneNote Conference, a six-days online event that will be open to everyone looking to master the popular note-taking tool. The conference will feature 21 pre-recorded videos of OneNote experts from all over the world who will share a whole range of different use cases as well as their best tips and tricks: http://winbeta.org/news/onenote-is-holding-a-free-online-conference-beginning-november-12th-its-first-ever
  3. Hello everyone, I was looking for the Evernote 2015 conference videos on YouTube and did not see any - was there a conference in 2015? will videos be uploaded? Also - will there be a Evernote conference in 2016? I'm thinking about attending. Thanks
  4. In the conference, Libin mentioned in passing the four things that supposed to replaced the old archaic systems we use today. It was writing, organizing, (I think), finding, and presenting? Anyone recalls? In the video this part starts with "everybody writes," and then he continues. I'm sitting at a Starbucks with a crappy WiFi and I can't view the video. Can anyone tell me quick? I want to write a post about it. The man has a vision, but he doesn't know how to communicate some of his ideas. Part of it is because people need more breadcrumbs to get to the points he's trying to make, and at other times he just seem to swallow his words and feel nervous about his unsuccessful jokes. I'm not mocking the man, talking in front of an audience is hard! And he strikes me as an introvert. Anyway, if anyone has any idea what I'm talking about, please help out!
  5. Clearly I have been sleeping, or I missed the memo, but several things that seem to occupy Evernote users' minds quite extensively now seem to have solutions waiting for them in Evernote's App Center. They're add-ins and some (all?) of them are paying packages, and I'm not recommending here, because I just installed two of them for a look-see; but if you're into sharing notes that need real-time collaboration and even conference-call discussion, and don't want that nasty "conflicting changes" elf to get in the way, have a look at LiveMinutes (they're under Web Apps - free for the rest of this year too) Or if you like Mind Maps (Me, me..) there's ConceptDraw Office which has an Evernote integration - apparently... The Apps pages are a resource I just opened like an early Christmas Present - there's other stuff in there that looks very interesting, but I do have to get some work done sometime. I've been a bit busy this year so far and clearly haven't been keeping up - apologies if this is old news; but before you do the standard (and boring) "the only thing stopping me giving you some money is" post for some missing feature that you didn't find in Evernote - check out the Apps pages! You never know, your Golden Feature could be there waiting for you!
