  1. On the iPhone, the "Close" and "Add Tag" buttons on "Note Details" page are so close together that I frequently hit the "Add Tag" button again instead of the intended "Close" the details window. Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about: https://thesecretweapon.tools/temp/20171229-evernote-move-buttons-further-apart.JPG
  2. Feature suggestion to "Close" a notebook (don't show it notebook chooser when adding new notes). Please let me know if there's already a good way to accomplish. I use Evernote to help track projects. The nature of projects is that they will eventually be done. The notes are still useful even after the project is done, however, so I do not want to delete the notebook. However, as more of these notebooks pile up, it becomes difficult to select the right notebook for new projects when adding notes. Also, the Smart Filing option in the web extension becomes less useful as it tends to select the old notebooks. A suggestion I have to support this kind of usage is the ability to Close a notebook. In my opinion, closed notebooks would behave the same as other notebooks, except that they would not show in the notebook picker when adding or moving notes. They would still show in the list of notebooks (with their status clearly indicated) and would still be used for search results. I have thought of perhaps tagging the notes with the name of the project, and then moving all notes into a special purpose "archive" notebook, but: Evernote struggles with moving thousands of notes at a time (and I have a fast computer)The "archive" notebook becomes huge and it becomes ever slightly more difficult to find things in it Thanks for reading and considering.
  3. I've been using Evernote Premium for a couple of years, mostly without issues, until recently on Windows 7. I couldn't find an official 'bug submission' route on the Evenote website. Currently using 5.6.4.4632 (272632) Public on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit as well as Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit On Win XP it starts quickly and quits quickly. On Win 7 it takes a long time to start and to exit. Even after a manual sync, it takes ages to exit. This is a pain, as I want to completely close Evernote before hibernating/suspending my PC, for security reasons. Is this a known issue? Couldn't find it on this forum. Thanks in anticipation for any advice.
  4. Hi! As I understand from using Evernote and this discussion, Evernote does not sync on save/close and does not support Push. This means I have to press F9 or sync manually every time I edit or create a note. Why? Because I never know when I'll switch from my Android phone to my PC. I could also use the 15 minute sync option, but this uses battery and I still would have to sync manually if I needed a note synced right away. So therefore I ask are Evernote working on sync immediately on save/close and a Push service for Android and PC? That way Evernote would work just like OneNote does today, and I wouldn't need to see the Synchronization Complete notice every 15 minutes. Could this be a Premium feature, or would it cost even more to implement? http://jooh.no/web/Evernote_saves_but_doesn't_sync_2014-05-01-17-49-54.png
  5. Selecting multiple tags (eg. to find a specific set of notes) became hard on the new Evernote. The left bar automatically (or insistently) closes at each time you select a new tag. That's pointless in tablets, where there is plenty of space to keep the bar, and it can get very annoying even in smartphones. The tag painel/bar should stay open while I select multiple tags (and keep open in tablets). I get dizzy with all that movement!
  6. Hi, guys. I've been using Evernote for OSX for the last two months, but recently I've encountered a very strange problem: I have big problems in closing Evernote, when I'm turning the computer off. When I turn on the computer and open Evernote and try to close the program, it just stays open, and the next time I try to close it, I can't use the "Close Evernote"-button. It's such a big problem that I can't turn the computer off, because then it tells me to close Evernote before turning off which I can't do! Can anybody help me? Thanks a lot in advance Mathias K. Lykke
