  1. Dear Sir, I'm using chromebook (PixelBook) and I downloaded and installed Evernote app in Google Play. But it seems it doesn't well support Chromebooks note-taking intent. https://developer.android.com/topic/arc/input-compatibility.html#note-taking_intent I can't see Evernote shown in Chrome OS note taking app list. Can you help to confirm whether Evernote support Chrome OS note taking or not? It will be convinent if Evernote could support it. Thank you. You can refer below discussion about Evernote note taking issue. https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/pixelbook/Zu-C1pgTYJQ;context-place=forum/pixelbook
  2. Hello everyone! So I've just recently decided to use Evernote as my go-to option for note-taking in class, and up until last week, everything was running smoothly, no hiccups at all. Never had such a great experience taking notes and I feel more organized than ever before. As I got to class today and decided to load up my notes, I encountered a problem. I can see my various notes in their appropriate notebooks, with the last time they were edited and their title, but once I click on one, the body doesn't show up, with a blank page showing up instead. Interestingly enough, I cannot add any text to the document nor do anything as a matter of fact. Notes can be created and the title can be changed but that seems to be all I can do. I've restarted my computer (Chromebook) several times, making sure it was up to date to no avail. I also looked up on the forums to find solutions and verified I was online and everything checked out. Now, this is where I got completely lost: I opened the iOS app and everything seems to be find on it (notes can be accessed and modified without a problem). I also went to the computer lab to check and the web version of Evernote also works perfectly fine on the desktop, so this means the problem is directly related to the web version working on Chrome OS. Thank you and have a nice day, Romi15
  3. Now that it is possible to run Android apps on Chromebook devices - such as the just released Samsung Chromebook Plus (and the upcoming Samsung Chromebook Pro) I'd like to see Evernote optimized to run better in this environment. Specifically I'd like to see integration of Google's server-side algorithm that makes taking handwritten notes with a stylus much smoother on Chromebooks. Google Keep is using this API and it is a very smooth writing experience. However, in Evernote's app this feature has not yet been integrated and the handwriting experience is very slow and laggy. It would also be great if the text sizing and app elements were better optimized for larger screens.
  4. I am sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I just downloaded the ChromeOS version of evernote. On the web version I can link Google Docs is this missing in the ChromeOS version?
  5. I'm using a Chromebook Pixel and have downloaded the "Evernote" app (which is different from "Evernote Web" app which is just shortcut to Evernote website). I'm not sure which subforum to post my questions on since there is no forum for Chrome OS / chromebooks. The app window opens to be about 1/4 of my screen. Clicking on the topbar doesn't do anything. Hovering over sides of window don't give any options to resize. Looking through the settings, I can't see anything that allows changing the size of the window. Using keyboard shortcut to maximize window does nothing. Is there any way to change window size - preferable to maximize? I've tried using the app for 5 minutes and another issue I noticed is trying to select text. Even though I'm using a laptop (aka have keyboard, mouse, etc), it's seems to be treating it like a tablet/phone. The only way to select text is my double clicking on word and then having to click to move the little blue notches to startpoint and endpoint. Since this is a computer, I want to be able to use it like a computer. Furthermore, the only thing that can be done to selected text is copy/paste - there is no way to bold, italics or change color of text. I'd love to use the Chromebook app instead of the website - the layout is better & for offline purposes. However, with these issues, the app gets annoying pretty quick. Are there some setting or something I've overlooked? I saw the blog post from half a year ago, so Evernote says they support Chromebooks ... are there any plans to fix these issues (which from what I can tell have been around since the time the app has been around)? Or is the solution not to use Chromebooks? Thanks!
  6. I have been trying the web beta on and off on my Chromebook. I really want to like it, but I can't. Whenever I open the web beta (by directly logging in the the website or using the Chrome Web Store app shortcut) it takes ages to show the web application. I have over 5500 notes in my account, varying from clipped web pages to PDF's and actual notes. I have already tried clearing the cache, removing cookies, rebooting the device etc. but nothing seems to improve speeding up the load. This way it becomes unusable. I would like Evernote to become ubiquious, but this way that will never succeed.
  7. Every time I open a pdf from the ChromeOS version 5.9.2 app, a watermark is printed through the pages. Someone didn't buy their licences in time... Come on guys, this is unprofessional. Has been for over a month. Please fix asap.
  8. I am continuously experiencing crashes of the ChromeOS app version 5.9.2 while syncing my notes (every app launch). This does not really make me use the app. I could be getting to like it, since it should support offline access to notes. But with all these crashes, I don't trust it with my thoughts.
