  1. Alongside today's announcement from both LinkedIn and Evernote, here are some resources to get you going ASAP with business card scanning. CardMunch users: you should at some point receive an email notifying you of the transition, with options to take. If you opt for Evernote, you'll move into an import process where you'll enter your LinkedIn info and receive 2 years business card scanning. You'll also receive an email when the import is complete. CardMunch cards will be translated into Evernote contact notes and placed into your default notebook. We have a Getting Started Guide for CardMunch users here: http://evernote.com/evernote/guide/cardmunch/#1 Anyone else: if you are on LinkedIn and would like to start using the Evernote business card scanning feature, activate your LinkedIn account in our business card scanning options, located here on Evernote IOS: Settings>General>Camera>Business Cards. This should also net you 1 year of business card scanning with Evernote. A full rundown of business card scanning on Evernote IOS is here: http://evernote.com/contact/support/kb/#/article/53057988 Get the latest version of Evernote IOS in the app store (7.3.4) for the latest improvements to business card scanning. Finally, business card scanning will be making its way to Android in the not too distant future, and is in development.
  2. I transfered my data from Cardmunch as per instructions last week. I can see the data in evernote notes. I have not received the email from Evernote to inform me of the transfer and as a result I have not been upgraded to premium. I therefore have no access to the Evernote equivalent of cardmunch. I have sent 3 emails to support last week - have received the standard support reply confirming receipt. Still have heard nothing. Anyone else in this situation? Any suggestions?
  3. Hi...I am a little late to getting around to the card munch transfer. When I created my evernote account and log into LinkedIn and Evernote....the cards in card munch don't transfer because Cardmunch has been deactivated. How can I make that happen now??
  4. I linked my LinkedIn account to my Evernote account but my cardmunch cards did not get transferred. Does anyone know how I do that? Thanks. I contacted Evernote support and this was the reply I received: Thank you for contacting Evernote customer support. We are unable to personally answer your inquiry. I'm closing this request today and encourage you to find the answer to your inquiry via a search on the Evernote Support page or with our active user community in theEvernote forums. Regards, Evan A.
  5. Hi, I just made the forced switch from Cardmunch to Evernote. Cardmunch had its challenges in terms of exporting business card data to a database and wasn't perfect, but I'm blown away that Evernote would even offer a business card service that doesn't allow you to export business card data into a usable database. I feel like I must be missing something, but can't find any menu that allows me to "export all business cards as .csv" . That means my business card database in Evernote is unusable to import into other programs like Salesforce or Mailchimp. I MUST be missing something. I also tried exporting to my Apple Contacts (AKA Address Book), this posed two problems that make this also an impossible solution: 1. No way to choose folder within Contacts for import, so every business contact moves into my general folder, mixed with family and friends and not findable as a new contact 2. Did not import address data. Now that really is a deal breaker. Even if I never send another piece of snail mail, it's occasionally nice to know where someone physically is. Wake me when this is a real product. Hopefully, I'll have some of my 2 years left. I really feel I MUST be missing something. Isn't Evernote supposed to be like a miracle product?
