  1. Hi there Does Evernote has the analytical function of blog? Or must we prepare the function from the third party such as Google analysis? Looking forward to having reply from you.
  2. I have a blog and I use Windows Live Write to publish to my blog. It supports AtomPub protocol. It works great. Howeber, WLW doesn't work on Mac :s It would be really cool if I can write my posts on Evernote and publish them straightly to my blog. Also, edit them as well. I assume everything is there in terms of visual but it just needs the interaction. I am currently a Plus user, I can go one tier higher for example if this feature is there.
  3. Evernote (the company) Rediscovers the Value & Importance of Note Taking It seems that after a brief detour, that the Evernote leaders have rediscovered, and realized how important their core product really is. Although note taking may not sound glamourous, it is very important, and done properly can greatly help each of us. Of course, Evernote the app is much more than just "note taking", but note taking, collecting, clipping, gathering, a wide variety of information is at the core service of what Evernote provides. In the fall of 2014, the then-VP of Marketing, Andrew Sinkov, gave this presentation at the annual Evernote Conference: The Evolution Of Evernote's Story with Andrew Sinkov Click on this link to start at the point where he says (paraphrased): We [Evernote] already dominate it [the "Note taking space"], we're the most important note taking app That's a crappy space to dominate That is not who we are, and not who we want to be In our hearts, we never wanted to be that You are hardly bending the universe if all you are doing is being the best note taker. The below Evernote Blog indicates a quite different view on the importance of note taking. From the Evernote blog Taking Note: An Introduction to the Value of Notes & Note-Taking , published on Feb 19, 2016: IMO, this is yet another sign that Evernote is changing, returning to focus on and improving its core product and mission.
  4. Two articles here re new CEO making changes. http://venturebeat.com/2015/09/29/evernote-lays-off-47-people-and-closes-3-offices-in-effort-to-build-a-more-focused-team/ and http://www.theverge.com/2015/9/29/9420031/evernote-layoffs-office-closures Most interesting to me is this quote from the second article: He intends to hone the company's focus on "notes, sync, and search." That'll be noticeable within the next few months, he says, as Evernote rolls out "major foundational product improvements" while it pulls away from failing services.
  5. Hi all - I've (almost) joined the blogging generation, by setting up myself on postach.io; but by the time I'd gone through the sign up pages, signed for disqus too and read about all the other stuff I need to know, I'd pretty much lost the will to blog. It might be the age - a certain impatience sets in as one matures; the alcohol (though I do still have active brain cells); or just the need to get everything done in a hurry: but I can't get a grip on how to get comments (like this. but longer...) into a blog rather than on the forums. There are folks here who have done the deed and seem mighty pleased. If anyone who has gone through the process would be willing to put up a how-to - explaining the whole process (in the words of the immortal Sarris) "as you would to a child" I'd certainly be grateful - or if there's an existing FAQ that I skimmed past and you can point me to, I would be in your considerable debt*. Thankyouverymuch *considerable debts are redeemable only in the UK and have a face value of .00000000000001p or (considerably) less.
  6. Hi, I am looking for a Mom to interview on for a podcast, that will in return give them a lot of exposure. You must be an expert at Evernote and have a blog/website, and be a mom. You can reply to CarrieBounce@Gmail.com Thanks
  7. To this: http://blog.evernote.com/blog/2014/11/19/note-penultimate/#comments When I posted it, there were 4 comments, now there are 22. But mine is still not open to public. Is it forbidden to mention that the new Penultimate caused a massive dataloss? Any other reason?
  8. How to publish my blog that I wrote in Evernote on Wordpress or other blog platforms ? What is my URL?
  9. I recall the blog post by Phil back in Jan where it stated that the stability issue and the overall quality was going to be improved. He also said it would focus on simplicity. How much has changed since then? Personally, I dont see much of a diff...
  10. Hey everyone! I have a problem with using Evernote and postach.io. I recently set up a blog and am feeding it from my evernote account. As a way to test what it can do I published a note and it appeared fine on my blog site. When I deleted the note and re-synced my Evernote account the post still appears on my blog even though it is deleted from my account. It has been several hours and the post is still there. Need help. I am using my Mac Evernote client.
  11. There is a way in which I use Evernote to plan all my tasks. This weekend, I thought I should share it on a blog. http://enblog.posterous.com/
  12. I have to admit I was shocked to see this graphic in the recent Evernote Blog, "What’s Evernote Sync, Anyway?" Graphic from Evernote Blog: I sure Evernote knows this is incorrect. The devices do NOT sync directly to each other, as the graphic clearly shows. A better graphic would have been: I have seen this misconception stated many times on this forum. Evernote had an opportunity to clarify this in an blog specifically about syncing. Yes, in the text at the bottom of the blog, they do state "Once you’ve created a new note, let it upload to our servers and download to your other devices (you can speed up the process by manually syncing)", which is correct. But what do you think most people who didn't know will remember, the graphic or the text? Something about a picture worth a 1,000 words. . . :-) Also, this is a bit picky, but pretty much everybody today refers to services provided by the Internet as the "Cloud". Why Evernote chose to use "service" instead of "cloud" is curious, to say the least.
  13. I am a piano teacher and have just started using evernote to keep notes of the students lessions. I have done so every day is in a booklet with each student for a note. Then I write like a blog in the note in every lession. Can I have a temple which I can, in any easy way to put a list with dates (like a blog) and maybe some "click-box" for attendance? Or must I copy and paste? For now I only have a free acount. Sorry for my bad english - I hope you understand.
  14. Hi everyone, I came across this recently and wasn't sure if anyone heard of it. http://www.thesecretweapon.org/ It uses the GTD methodology with the integration of Evernote
  15. The Evernote for Craft discussion continues. Read how Cheryl Hardy uses Evernote for Pottery. I always love getting ideas from other users!
