  1. Good morning, I restored a computer completely from a time machine backup that is about 3 weeks old. After the restoration, HUNDREDS of my local notes are without content. They include notes that have attachments, notes that are text only, new, old, recently updated, not recently updated. There is no rhyme or reason to which notes are blank and which aren't. They appear in the notes lists along with all of the other notes, and they still have titles (some have thumbnails of a generic pdf, if there was a pdf, but not all that had a pdf do) but when I click to view them or when I open them, they are utterly blank. They don't have the usual "click here to edit"; it's as though that entire section had been cut out. It can't be edited, and it can't be viewed. I've left it run for days, I've tried everything you could imagine (moving the notes, deleting all of the other notes (offline, of course) to see if they would eventually index (and then re-restored the time machine backup again after that), I've searched the library/.../ accounts/... folder that usually contains the attachments have have had no luck. I am terrified that I will not be able to recover these notes. Some of them are extremely important to me. So far I've lost hours trying anything I could imagine and searching forums, but I would be fine losing another dozen hours if it means getting my notes back. I've searched for the missing pdfs using the finder's search in the library in the hopes that would point me to the location of the other missing notes, but nothing. It's like they never existed... except they clearly did, as their titles are still there. I could use any help those of you with experience with this could provide to try to recover these notes. Thank you for any help you can provide,Mary
  2. Guys Got an interesting thing on Evernote (Mac). All my notes are there (the notebooks list the number of notes etc) but when I click on a Notebook, the Notes are empty. One Notebook in a stack would not Sync (it was set as a synchronising Notebook) on the Web version, and the Android version and the IOS (iPad version) but was working fine in the app on the Mac. Now, no Notes in the App show at all. As it happens, I updated the OS to 10.10.4. I updated the app from the apple store, no change. Updated the app from Evernote, started but no change to the Notebook behaviour - now it just errors and dies. Slowing switching the nOtes I can read to GoogleDocs, though to be fair, I would prefer to stay with Evernote. Any ideas about this behaviour. As I write this I think I'll delete the Evernote.com version of the app and re-download from the app store. thanks for reading Craig R. Brisbane, Australia
  3. I have submitted a help request but since I'm not a premium member, I'm not sure I'll receive a response. I live by the notes in my Evernote app. However, now I can only see some of them in All Notes. If I delete the app and re-install, OR if I close out the app and restart, I can click on 1 note to see fully or add information. I've also received time out errors. Plus, it has been known to freeze. If I click on a second note - forget it. Once I click on it, it's blank and useless . I guess I can keep force-closing to get to the next note, but it's not practical. So, I can only click on 1 note at a time and have to close out to see another. I see the beginnings of some of them in the All Notes section. I've checked the support area and don't see any issues about anything like this. I'm running the latest Apple iOS 8.1.2 and the latest Evernote update. Isn't anyone else having the same issue?
  4. Ever since I upgraded to the new version of evernote, although I can see the content of my notes in the snippet view, when I click to open each individual note it appears blank - with no content whatsoever. I click to edit but nothing happens. However, it's perfectly normal on my ipad, ipone or when I use the online version. Has anybody else encountered this glitch? Any help would be appreciated!
  5. Since I installed Yosemite EN either crashes on launch, or if it launches it doesn't show my notes at all - just a blank window! It displays the EN promo content coming from EN but none of my notes, as if it can't connect to them. The shortcuts list displays but the list of recents does not.If I click further it crashes.I reinstalled and then downloaded the new beta - neither helped. Does anyone have any ideas? Are there preferences I should remove? My whole business is in there and I'm working off my iPhone! HELP!
