  1. A 3-in-one: 1. The new app Agenda (not to be confused with the old Lotus Agenda) is getting rave reviews simply because it allows attaching a note to a calendar event. Evernote needs this. 2. The Web Clipper really should try harder to glean the name of the author when you clip an article or post. In most cases, it ain't that hard. Sure, it may not always get it right, but it would be a lot better than sticking MY name in the field! You could even insert something like "(auto-detected)" after the author's name if you weren't sure you had it right. 3. Last I checked, some items of information about a note (such as, IIRC, author) were not accessible from AppleScript for no apparent reason. Could you please fix this?
  2. Hi - I am an Author of business books; ther are many tools out there, but I like Evernote. The world is changing for all organisations - not least for those who wish to Publish and Author books, articles etc. Evernote helps this process - but could be better! Take mindmapping and author tools like Scrivener - the first is essential for layout / organising thoughts; the latter for scheduling the narrative of any book, article etc. Evernote needs to have these attributes, as it iss clear now, in 2016, that: Everyone is a publisher! (we all work in organisations that require us to create written words and share them) Organisation is key to good, consistent content creation and systematic publishing Theer are SO many Authors now, that they are a Market that Evernote should heed! ;-) I have uploaded two examples - a mindmapping writing tool and Scrivener images. Oh, now if Evernote could do this.... killer application! Evernote is great for storing, searching, retrieving, tagging and hosting info; it could be better at organising, prioritising, linking, connecting and helping sequence organised narratives. 3. This may also apply to iPad but have not tried. iOS 8.2 Evernote 7.7.10.316568 I have a Mac, PC, and iPhone all running Evernote. When I create a note on the iPhone and then check the note on either the mac or pc, the 'Author' field is always blank. Any notes made on the PC or Mac are not, and have the correct information in the Author field. I have looked through all the settings on the iPhone version and also on the Web version to see if there is anything that may be causing this but cannot find anything obviously wrong. Any help appreciated.
  4. Hi Is there any way to have the author of a note appear on either the main toolbar or the not toolbar? The old evernote used to have the author present which i found very handy as we use evernote at work as a log book for an instrument (multiple authors). I actually bought the premium evernote thinking you had the option to add it back in but it looks like you can only add in "users" to the toolbar. thanks TAO
  5. When I forward email from my Gmail account to Evernote, I noticed that the "sender" of the email can be found in the "i" button under the "author" field for the note which was created. It would be most useful if that "author" field could be copied/replicated in the body of the note, or at least somewhere in the note proper. Since I, and many other Evernote users, utilize this approach to manage workload from emails, this capability would be most welcome. Is there some way to accomplish this now (some script or third-party solution), or is this something that I/users should request as a future "feature?" Has anyone in the forum worked out a solution to this requirement? Thanks, Mike
  6. Hi everybody, I am newbie user of Evernote and facing an unfamiliar problem. Here I would like to ask the way how to add the item of "source" and "author in Evernote for Android? By the way, Evernote is really useful product. Thank you in advance!
