  1. Existe a possibilidade de se disponibilizar a ferramenta de anotações (de imagens ou pdf) no cliente web? Is it possible to make available the annotation tool (of images or pdf) in the web client?
  2. As seen from the screenshots, when I annotate a screenshot that I've captured and pasted below some bullet points, the appearance of the bullet point above it changes. The bullet point that was hollow (indented one level further than normal bullet points) becomes filled. Any work arounds/ways to reverse would be appreciated. Also just hoping to flag this as a but so it might be fixed in a future update? Before annotating a pasted screenshot: After annotating a pasted screenshot: Notice how the bullet point directly above the annotated image has changed!
  3. When I'm using my iPad to open a PDF and then read and make annotations to the document, such as highlighting a section, the Evernote App immediately crashes. I've Updated both the iPad and Evernote, so everything should be up to date, but unfortunately, it continues to crash. I assume this has happened after the latest Apple iOS Upgrade, but cannot be 100% sure about that. This is killing me at the moment. I have 25 reports to read and take notes on for my final MBA project. ... Evernote Timing... very bad!
  4. Dear All, My use case is that I am creating notes with images captured of a digital version of a magazine. I am then annotating mentions of certain products and or brands which I am manually picking out. I would like to be able to search these annotations, to count numbers of mentions of certain brands / products. However, when I do search it seems the search function does not cover the annotations themselves? Please help me to resolve this, or help by suggesting an alternative approach to my use case. Best regards Efe
  5. I have a lot of pdf files with annotations from other pdf software, mainly adobe reader. While searching for text inside pdf files works great, searching for annotations doesn't work.
  6. Hello All; I have been using Evernote for about 4 years now and just went to the premium service. I am also in college and starting to write papers. I would like to see a bibliography and references ability added to Evernote. An article in a magazine saying Evernote wanted to be the only information manager you ever needed, convinced me to start using the application. It seems to me citations, bibliographies, and references are the lifeblood of anyone who writes. If Evernote really wants to be the best note taking solution for serious and professional writers, being able to add citations on-the-fly is critical. Regards, Robert Williamson
  7. Hey there guys, first of all, thank you for your work. I do a lot of writing in Evernote and to do that I use a lot of pdf's. Here are a few suggestions on the matter to make the experience better.1) Make it possible to work on the pdf annotator and another note simultaneously. Right now if you switch to another note the annotator closes and you have to reopen and start from page one. I could open the pdf in my native pdf reader but that's the whole point of having everything hanging in Evernote. 2) Let text be copied from the pdf annotator. There's not a text select tool. 3) It would be really great if you could select text and access a pdf right from the annotation summary, and straight into the annotated part of the pdf. Would make navigating the document a lot faster. 4) Make it more efficient. It takes a lot of cpu power to work on a few pages pdf.
  8. I am using evernote on an android tablet (among other devices). When I make changes to a PDF in my PDF-Reader I am unable to save these changes: the "save" button is grey and I can only save to another document which I then have to drag-and-drop back into Evernote. I have already rebooted the tablet and used different PDF-Readers. Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you are my last hope.
  9. Annotations won't save after making them. Just says saving..... when screen times out and turn it back on the app usually has crashed. or went back without annotations.
  10. When I make annotations into a PDF, upon exporting or printing that annotated PDF it frequently happens that not all of the annotations are kept in the exported document. This is very strange and annoying. Arrows remain, but especially stickers, and short dot's seem to vanish upon exporting. Please help with this issue! thanks
  11. I've seen another post on this issue in the Skitch thread, but I'm not sure if this is the same issue or not, so I'm posting it elsewhere. I'm using Evernote for Mac v5.5.2, and for most PDF documents that I'm trying to annotate, I get an "Unable to Save Document" error when I try to close it after annotation. A few PDFs have annotated and closed just fine...but I hate spending a good deal of time annotating something only to find it can't be saved. Does anyone else have this issue and/or know if there's a fix/workaround? Thanks in advance for your help! ~Wes
  12. I'm having some issues with Evernote on my tablet. Two days ago I used the annotate function in order to highlight some text passages in an attached file. Today I noticed that half of the highlights were badly misaligned - at least one line above where they should have been. This misalignments carry over to other PDF readers and to my windows version of Evernote. Is this a know bug or something I can fix/ avoid?
  13. I want to use Evernote to do a lot of web clippings. I like to clip full pages but I would like to annotate it with some of the arrows and pins you can use when you screenshot things. Is there anyway to combine them together? Am I missing something? I'm more of a visual guy rather than a typed reader. Thanks
  14. Hi, I recently started to use Evernote and really enjoy using it! I am think to upgrade to the premium package but before I do I would like to know the following: Is it possible to convert documents or presentations to PDF? and then annotate them with handwriting? The current annotation allows me to put in text blocks, arrows etc etc but when I just try to write some small notes it does not work as it tries to make line's circles etc of it. When I add a note I can use my pencil and write, make drawings etc etc and keep those but I can not do this on any document/pdf what I save in my notebooks. I use iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. Thanks
  15. Was annotating a PDF today on my iPad and when I saved changes, the app crashed. The first time this happened, my annotations saved. However, this happened a second time and I lost about 4 pages of annotations that time. App is up to date; not sure what could be causing this. But I'm doubting my purchase of Evernote Premium now. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  16. A right click on any webpage will usually bring up Evernote options including an Evernote bookmark option. All I want to do is to be able to create successive, annotated bookmarks connected to specific online pages of long texts. Sometimes (but not very often) Evernote Web Clipper permits me to add an annotation but only one annotation for an entire book. I need to be able to go through a list of bookmarks and choose to go back to a specific page of a specific text after reading my own annotation. Doesn't sound difficult. But I haven't found out how to do it on Evernote. I'm an Evernote beginner, so I may be ignorant. However, any tips and pointers would be very much appreciated.
  17. I have a new account that's just about a week old. Right now I have a total of 26 small text notes and one note containing a 826kb pdf. Somehow I've already used 63.8 MB of my monthly upload allowance. I have annotated with highlights the pdf heavily... currently at 125 annotations...is this somehow responsible for 60+ mb of data?
  18. I like using the card view. It would be nice if there were an icon that indicated that there are PDF comments in the document. Even better would be clicking that icon would ONLY show the comments/highlights the far right pane (the pane that normally shows the PDF). I'm thinking the alternate view would be similar to what the PDF commenting panes does today. This would prevent me from having to open the document with acrobat to see the highlighted comments & my corresponding notes.
