Hello all, hope you are well. This idea is truly for Evernote as a whole, not particularly just for Mac, however I primarily use it on Mac so I have posted this here. It would be very useful to hide certain notes or entire notebooks from appearing in 'All Notes'. For example, I often write letters in Evernote, but once they are done, I do not wish to see them when I am browsing through unfinished projects as they are completed. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance and have a good one!
On my laptop, by habit, I view my Evernote "library" as a list of titles (List View as opposed to Thumbnail View). This compact view of my notes makes it quick and efficient for me to scroll through my collection and select a note of interest. On my iPad, it appears I'm locked into an icon view. While scrolling on the iPad is quick, this view nonetheless suffers from a huge waste of screen real estate. I would prefer a simple list view (lines of text). They might be styled (as I do my web pages) with appropriate line-spacing to make them more easily "finger-selectable". But it would surely be an aid to efficiency were I not have to scroll through screens otherwise occupied by loads of grey space. Simple note title lists would be more appropriate, or at least, I'd appreciate the option to view it that way!
I JUST got Evernote. I'm learning "The Secret Weapon" and I've run into an issue. Clicking on a sidebar tag switches me over to "All Notes" from my "Actions Pending" notebook. This isn't ideal, since I have a "completed" notebook as well. Which means when I click on, say, the tag for my "Polaris" project, no matter what notebook I'm in, I suddenly see current AND completed tasks. I know I can command click but it seems a reasonable bit of functionality to include out of the box so I'm here. Asking. Thanks!
Hi I want to find a note I created a couple of weeks ago and unsure which folder I created it in. Is there a way of easily searching according to date order, as I've a fair idea of when it was? Thanks.
