  1. My Evernote account has over 10,000 notes. About 4000 of them are scanned pieces of sheet music. I would like to have these under a separate account as they are unrelated to anything else. I can make a new account. But how can I get the notes over?
  2. I am using Windows. I have two account profiles on my computer. One is for school and one is for work (trying to minimize distractions). Anyways, my real question is, how can I sync my files to where they are only being pulled from one folder by both profile accounts? They are being pulled by two separate folders right now since they both have their own locations on the local drive. I don't have that much space on my hard drive so I thought I'd ask. Update: I am only using one account on evernote. I do not have two accounts on evernote.
  3. I have two Evernote accounts - one for work and one personal. I now need to combine them both, as the email address associated with the work account is no longer viable. I can't change the email address to my personal address, because it's associated with the other account. Is there anyway to combine two accounts?
  4. I just discovered why I couldn't see the Evernote Notes from my iPad on my Mac and the opposite. I just saw that I have a different email account for each of my Evernote on the iPad and on my Mac, therefore 2 different sets of Notes. Help!! Is there an easy way to merge both accounts into one and have all contents transferred over without losing anything? I would love a video that shows how to do this if possible. Thanks!!
  5. I've recently used Evernote Premium feature regarding switching accounts. First it didnt work for me and I had to manually login and logout to another account - now it seems it works correctly but... This feature is very unhandy. What I want is to use two accounts at once on desktop app - that way i could move my notes between the accounts. Otherwise is a bit useless feature. Anybody agrees or know if such feature is planned to add soon?
  6. My friend and I share an iPad. Is it possible for us each to have our own Evernote account on the one device, so that our information is kept private from one another? And if so, how would we manage the privacy - passwords, PIN codes, or...? Similarly, could this also be done in the desktop program? (We also share a Windows computer.) Thanks for your help!
  7. Looking for guidance on organizing my Evernote data ... I am a premium user, and I must purchased the scansnap and LOVE IT. I have been using evernote primarily for work and a small percentage of personal info. I purchased the scanner to go as paperless as possible for my personal data. Question: would you recommend having two evernote accounts- work and personal? Thanks for the input!
  8. hi there, sorry if this was diskussed before, I could not find it. I have two Evernote accounts. On my Mac I am using Evernote Switcher to switch between those two. Now I got me an iPhone and installed the Evernote App. Now, is there a way to swithc between the accounts? Or to log out of one account and log into another? i could not find a way to log me out. Anyone can help me? Thanks.
  9. After the hack and the password update and that whole ordeal I was left with two separate accounts. One on my old, now deleted, email and one on the email I'm currently using. All my notes are on the account with the old email and I cant change my email to the new one. This is very frustrating as I cant use anything related to the email, I tried changing it but as the other email is "active in another account" I cant do so. I tried deactivating the account with the new email and then changing the email from the old to the new for the account currently using the old one, but I couldnt do this either. Does anyone know if this can even be done, and if so how? Help would be highly appreciated, Thank you!
  10. Here is my scenario. I currently have had a Free account as I get to know about Evernotes' capability. I'm very impressed. I wish to have 2-4 notebooks, which will have a minium of 1100 pdf files amongst them. Some may be just over 100megs each, but most are not. I should be the only one who can add to these folders. I would like the ability to share these notebooks with anybody who has an email address that I've granted access to them. (They may or may not have an Evernote account, but would be encouraged to get one). All of us should be able to search amongst all Pdf documents contained, with in these notebooks exclusively or shared to them (If I need to have a seperate account than my personal one that's fine.) Do I need to have a Premium or Business account? Do they need to have a Free, Premium, or Business Account? What are the limitations imposed if I had a Free, Premium, or Business account under this scenario? If I wanted to allow users to add notes to another notebook, would their account status need to change? Is there any legal issues with having a business account for each person, and charging a user for access to my notebooks? Thanks, Rich Wilson
  11. How about a multi year subscription with a discounted lump sum payment up front for 2,3,4 & 5 years? This may have been discussed but I'm having problems with the google site search for the forum at present. I figure since evernote is now quite established I'm sure there are premium & business account holders that would not want to be bothered with annual payment reminders or be jumping hoops when they forget their renewal date or forget to update their credit card etc.
