  1. Our office uses Evernote as a digital filing system, but we still have a fair amount of printing that we have to do. We have been experiencing two significant issues with the 6.0 update and I'm wondering if there is any workaround other users could recommend until (hopefully) Evernote fixes this. Problem #1 - We used to be able to print notes in batches. I could select multiple notes, hit Command + P and it would print the ones that were selected. Not true anymore. Now it will only allow us to print the first one selected in the batch. Problem #2 - The vast majority of our notes consist of a PDF attachment (e.g. invoices from vendors), and before the update we could reliably hit Command + P to print the note, and it would print the PDF just fine. As long as the rest of the note was blank, it would ONLY print the PDF, which is what we wanted. But, after 6.0, we kissed that handy feature goodbye. Now the print preview shows up as a blank page, and 1 of 1 pages, so you can print just the second page. When you go to print, however, it will give you a blank sheet, followed by the PDF. Our current workaround for this is to open the PDF in Preview and then print, but this takes considerably more time and is a more disjointed workflow. Anyone else frustrated with these problems? Have a solution that you can post here? Any help would be appreciated!
  2. Long time Premium user. Just upgraded to 6.0 and was greeted with one of the most horrible interfaces I've seen in a long time. Shades of gray? Really? I hope you listen to your paying customers and offer some options to tone down this abomination.
  3. I just updated Evernote via the mac app store, and am now running Evernote version 6.0, 451092 App Store. However, the new update seems to have disabled the backspace key. I was wondering if there is any way to downgrade evernote or otherwise fix this issue? Thanks.
  4. I've been a long-time paid user and first of all I just want to make sure that I'm indeed a big fan of Evernote. At least have been a big fan until....!!! the version 6.0 and above update which damaged my impression of evernote seriously With 6.0 the UI perfectly matches the translucent experience of Mac Yosemite which I'm fine with but overall performance has gone so much slow compared to pervious versions. The biggest itch happens while I'm editing the note. Everytime I try to move my cursors back and forth or up and down Evernote will slow down dramatically as if I'm loading a web page and waiting for the page to show up. I'm talking about my local Evernote (Mac Evernote and not the web version). I'm aware there have been some issues after 6.0 release and Evernote quickly replied with 6.0.1, 6.0.2 and 6.0.3 (latest) but the "slowness in edit" haven't got any better. I noticed that after version 6.0, Evernote will not prompt downloading the metadata (local copy of the notes) of my notes which I guess is the main reason for the slowness. In previous versions, whenever you re-install Evernote it always used to prompt a window to download the metadata first and then allowed me to sign-in as a client but after 6.0 this procedure disappeared. I really miss the good old days where I had my local meta-data in either of the directories below. /Users/<userID>/Library/Application Support/Evernote ~/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote I'm not sure if I'm the only person experiencing this issue (backup with me if there's anyone with same itch), but I'm sure there needs to be a fix for this ASAP..
  5. I updated to EN6.0 via the App store today. I've been unable to clip anything since. At first I thought this was a problem with Mail. Then I thought it was only happening on one screen. But it's happening to any application, on either screen. A reboot did not 'solve' this. Anybody having this problem?
  6. I'm running Yosemite and upgraded to Evernote 6.0. I launched the app and when I tried to log in, I kept getting user/pass errors although I know what I was entering was correct. I tried a different email address just in case, and somehow ended up logged in to that account. My account is always under email1 (I checked through the web app) but somehow I'm logged in to email2, with no notes or premium features. Every time I try to log out, Evernote freezes. I have to force quit the app every time. I see that the Evernote Helper is not responding, as is the main Evernote process. I've restarted, closed all programs, uninstalled Evernote, reinstalled the software, restarted again, and cannot get passed the process Not Responding. My intent is to log out so I can log in to my actual account. Anyone else having this issues? Evernote, are you aware of this?
