  1. Up to now I wrote all my meeting minutes in a word document in Notebook-Style. Is there a way to import this file with 50 notes as 50 single notes in Evernote with automatically created headlines? Yes, I can import them with copy/paste, but this would be a huge task I want to avoid.
  2. I'm wanting to switch to using exclusively Evernote for my lecture notes. My stats professor gives us these great lecture note outlines in .doc format. They include text and images that are positioned carefully into frequency distributions, formulas, etc. that don't make sense if the formatting gets changed at all. I want to be able to paste these into Evernote so that I can add my own notes to them during lectures (i.e. I don't want them just as an attachment). Is there a special way I can paste these in so that the formatting is preserved? Or something I can do on the Word end before I copy them to group the images together or something? I'm using Evernote 5.0.4 on a Mac and Word 2011. I attached part of the notes and a screenshot of how it comes up in Evernote when I paste it into a note. Thanks in advance! lecture3.doc
  3. The Clipping option for Windows (windows key + A) from within Word makes that my notes contain extra white lines, which I don't have in my Word document. I think this comes from the fact that Word 2010 (the version I use) has the 'default' option of adding a white line on a line-break. As I find this a very annoying 'feature', I changed my Word's paragraph settings accordingly. Sadly, apparently Evernotes Clipping option does not seem to take this into account at all, and I have unwanted white lines all over the place. If I just do a select in Word -> Ctrl-C -> make new note -> Ctrl-V it works fine. However, I would really prefer not having to do that. For the record, I use Windows 7 (64 bits) with MS Office 2010, and Evernote for Windows 4.5. Hoping on a fix, tigs
  4. I have a 150 page MS Word doc that I want to import into Evernote. I can get it in via a single document, but what I want is to break it into individual notes at every blank line. Any ideas?
  5. Hi all, I think this is simple question with a quick answer. I've run a few searches, but I must be using the wrong search terms. I'm working with a non-profit on a project where we're all in different locations. We already have a large amount of our work in Word documents. Before I purchase our premium group account I'm trying to confirm that we'll be able to store all of our Word documents in a Group notebook, access these documents from PC/Mac clients and have the local changes reflected in the cloud version of the document. If someone could confirm this or point me to documentation that confirms this ability that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Tim
  6. I currently use Mac Journal and Scrivner to organize and draft my articles. Eventually they need to be imported into Word for final publication. Is there a way to do this in Evernote? I see the export note as html but that is not easy enough. Any advise or thoughts?
  7. I am writing some papers for my Masters and wondered if there was a way to add references from ejournals like IEEE for reference and insertion back into later? many thanks
