The web clipping with iOS is weak, compared to the web clipper capabilities on the desktop clients. To improve web clipping on iPad and iPhone I use this nice shortcut for iOS that is clipping sites from Safari and creates a lean, clean note from the clipped stuff. It usually does exclude all the adds and clutter, comes with a reader-type layout and copies pictures and working links that are in the original website as well. The only downside I have found up to now is that it takes several seconds to execute. But the result makes up for this. I hope this link to the iCloud is working for everybody who wants to install the shortcut to the shortcuts App. It will show in the share menu in Safari: https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/0d6e466b4b1444549da81ddc6f90b82d
when I do web clipping, it shows, clipping => syncronizing =>done. (my environment is Japanese so maybe words above are slightly different, but meanings are same.) And if I close the web page(s) or web browser while "synchronizing," are there not any problems? I want to ask you about this in the case of windows and mac. (but I recently bought a mac and have not installed/set anything with Evernote.) P.S. I guess that, if we know/find where data soon after finishing "clipping"（but before "syncronizing") is stored concretely and the specification of "synchronizing," the answer will be automatically clear.... Thank you for your continued help
Hi, pretty basic question here: what is your (tried and proofed) way to save whole web pages from Safari into Evernote on the iPad? I would like to save the whole page as it is, with all the pictures, etc. Making a screenshot works some times, but only if the page I'm saving is only one screen big, otherwise screenshots are a pain in the b.... Any hints would be appreciated. Have a nice weekend folks, Tibor
The easiest way for me to save web clips to Evernote has been selecting the text+images I want followed by right-click in the mouse and select the "Save selection to Evernote" option. More convenient and direct than going up to the web clipper in the toolbar. I noted that after upgrading to Safari 6.1 (with latest OSX Mountain Lion) the right-click option for Web Clip capture is not working. Right-cliocking would still display the usual menu, but selecting any Evernote option does not do anything. This functions seems to have been lost. Is this normal? Please respond thanks! Carlos
