  1. I'm running on my MacBook (OS X 10.6.8) Evernote 3.06 and Chrome 17.0.963.56 with Evernote Web Clipper 5.1.22.1457 installed and enabled. When I added a new synchronized notebook using Evernote on my computer it did not - and still doesn't - appear on the pull-down menu of notebooks provided by the Web Clipper. When I recently to tried get help by submitting a ticket I got the message from Chrome: "The page at https://support.evernote.com says: Web Clipper is required" and was unable to proceed. Can anyone help?
  2. As the title suggests, our group of users at Orca Health would very much like to Web Clip to a shared account. Giovanna F. of the online chat customer service help team suggested a workaround wherein we copy and paste the Web Clips from our own folders into the shared folder. This, of course, defeats the entire purpose of Evernote.
  3. Hi, I had the web clipper set to upload to the web account. I had no problem until I uploaded a bigger page. Since then, the web clipper is stuck. Whenever I tried to upload another item, the yellow box with the number of notes to be uploaded just adds another item. I have tried to remove and reinstall the web clipper, uninstall and reinstall Evernote for Windows, reset all the information for Evernote in about:config in Firefox, as well as deleting all temps files and cleaning the registry. Whatever I do, when the web clipper is reinstalled, it shows me again the same number of items to be uploaded. The only way I can make the web clipper work is by connecting it to the local Evernote. However, I have noted that the quality of the clippings is not as good as when it is connected via the online Evernote account. This is really aggravating. I also find the quality of the clippings is generally poor compared to the old Google Notebook. I wish that the Evernote product was more mature. I would even be ready to pay for the service, but not until all these issues are solved. I am using Evernote with Firefox 8.0 and Windows Vista. Frank
  4. I love the Google Chrome web clipper and I use it virtually everyday. I have however run into some issue now that my Evernote account has matured a bit. I have now a couple of hundred tags, somewhere north of 300 in fact. This is mostly due to the fact that I have implemented a proper archiving system for notes about various subjects (Dewey Decimal Classification) together with a separate tag tree for personal notes. These are naturally differentiated by one beginning with numbers and the other beginning with letters, so tagging is quite easy and fast. But never mind that, the problem is that once you get a certain number of tags, say 100, then web clipper tagging becomes sort of brittle and stale. You see that if I want to save an article for later I press "q" for "Queued Articles" (I used a word beginning with q so as to not over use more common letters) all the tags that do not show up on the desktop client start showing up here even though they don't begin with "q" (the DDC begins with numbers). That means that I have to type in "Queu" before I can hit enter. This seems rather illogical, and if I would use a few more tags it would only get worse. As it is now "390 Customs, etiquette & folklore," occupies the selected spot for the first three letters. The other versions of Evernote suggest tags that begin with the letter or number you are typing, this is necessary for most classification systems, and particularly for DDC. If you would unify the tag suggestions across all the Evernote clients, with the desktop as the model, that would make everything that much easier, thanks.
  5. Using Chrome. My clips always get sent to my default notebook, even though when I click the elephant icon to clip something I have a different notebook selected. Rather a bother. Great product, though.
  6. Running Safari 5.1.1 and latest web clipper (pretty sure.) I can go to a page, click on the clipper icon, the window opens up and I can choose the notebook. The article is highlighted, but in the clipper window the tag and comment function doesn't work. I click on them but nothing happens. I watched the Chrome clipper video to see if there was another step to do, figuring it was pretty close to how the safari clipper would function, but I am doing the same thing. Odd that I can give the note a name, select the notebook but not add tag or comment. Any idea why? How to fix this?
Gesture failed: DR (TypeError: clipPanelIFrame is undefined) Web Clipper の1つ前のバージョンなら問題は無いのですが。 Windows 7 32bit, Firefox 8 です。
