  1. In other applications (e.g. IM apps, web browsers) it's possible to right click a URL to copy it. It would be very helpful to me if this was added to Evernote.
  2. I add reference URLs to my lab notebook to show where the primary data files are; I don't want to duplicate them. For this, I copy the URL path using the contextual menu from Pathfinder (it's great) and then paste this into Evernote with the "add link" menu item. The link that's added is of the format "file//localhost/users/me/..../myfile.txt" However, the "OK" button remains greyed out, which prevents me from adding this link. Apparently EN prefers the URL format "file///users/me/..../myfile.txt" which does work. Of course I can edit this every time but... I started to complain to Cocoatech, the makers of Pathfinder, until I looked at the conventions posted by W3.org (http://www.w3.org/Addressing/URL/4_1_File.html) This convention specifies the the "file://localhost/..." format as more hygienic, since it specifies the precise machine, not one perhaps with a file on an identical path. Either works, of course, but what I'm suggesting is that Evernote should let us use whatever d***ed URL we wish, not babysitting us to use one from an approved list. Consider, if I have a custom app that I'd like to have linked to a url in a note "myapp://..../myinputdata.file" and all I'd have to do is register that URL in my OS. Please make the "add link" window "OK" button active even if the URL type is not recognized. Thankyoverymuch. Dennis (not always so cranky)
  3. Hi, on Evernote 5 for Mac the URLs for my webclipped notes have disappeared. Where are they? thanks in advance.
  4. Dear EN team, first of all thanks for the world class tool for managing my notes and sync them.. I use EN Android App and I use other apps on my Android device where I share EN note URLs. One of them is my GTD app. Reminder pops up with EN note URL and I click on it, it does not offer to open in EN App, instead it only gives options to open in Browsers . Can EN note URLs be recognized and picked up by EN app. I see many other apps do that, Play store for example, picks up the Play store URLs and offers to open within Google Play app, instead of browser.
  5. What is the URL that evernote calls to get NoteStore and Search note . Like in case of Dropbox it is : https://api.dropbox.com/1/search/<root>/<path> I want similar stuff for evernote . Can any one help me out ?
  6. Hi all. I've been using EV in conjunction with Omnifocus (OF) for a few months now, it's turning out to be a great place to keep all the data I need around my Getting Things Done process without getting in the way. For example I have a recurring task in OF called "Weekly Trigger List" that pings every Tuesday morning at 7am when I'm on the train. The task has a link to the EV note containing a list of mental triggers. The system works really well as even if I'm away from my mac and the reminder triggers on my iphone, I can still click the same link and open EV on my phone. Anyway. I also started to use "Launch Center Pro"(LCP) on my iphone recently. I can use the OF URL schema to create a custom button to do pretty much whatever I like, the possibilities are huge. What I'd really like to be able to do is open LCP, & hit an icons that launches EV, takes me to my business receipts notebook, opens a new note, and fires the camera. This is something I do 3-4 times a day every time I pay for something that is a business expense. Questions: Is there a detailed EV URL Schema? If not, how do we get one? Are their any other solutions you could recommend?
  7. I am trying to search within my over 10,000 notes for notes from a particular url/source. I would like to search for things that contain a particular word and DO NOT CONTAIN/do not come from a particular url heading, ie "facebook.com". Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
  8. I have clipped a number of URLs and would now like to be able to retrieve the content of those pages and have the content inserted in the note. The only way that I can figure out is to open the link and save clip the web page as a new note. I'd appreciate a suggestion for a workaround. Thanks.
  9. Hi, I was using another application to collect links and now it would be nice to import those webloc files (organized in folders) to Evernote. But drag'n'drop is not working. I don't wanna have all the images and text stuff. I just want the url. Is there any importer or "trick" for only importing the bookmark? Mario
