Hi all, I have a folder with 4 subfolders set up for automated importing files on my second drive (D). Since these 4 subfolders also have subfolders, I created four rules to get these folders including their subfolders imported correctly. This always worked. Since some time now, don't know how long, I noticed that every file I add to the import folders (the subfolders, not the main one, since there is no urle for that one) get imported and one or two seconds later the file gets imported again. So each file shows up twice in my inbox. I deleted the rules and created them again, but the problem persists. My folder setup is like this: - main folder -- sub 1 --- subsub 1 --- subsub 2 --- subsub etcetera -- sub 2 -- sub 3 -- sub 4 And my rules import sub 1 to 4 separately, including their subfolders. The files keep located on my drive. Hope anyone can shed some light on this. Version installed: 188.8.131.5270 (306770) Public (CE Build ce-1.39.4387) Thanks in advance! Robin
Hi there, I think Evernote is a great program, however there are two annoyances that (in my mind) keep Evernote from being great: 1) Creating of sub notes does not follow the standard paradigm Creating a subfolder is not easy... I get it - Evernote doesn't have folders, they have stacks... but sub categorizing things is important to me - so to do this I need to follow a work around: I) Create a temporary note II) Right click and choose "Add to stack" III) Choose new Stack IV) find the stack and rename it to a folder name that makes sense to you V) now delete the temp note VI) Start dragging new notes into the stack (folder) I find this a weird workaround. I rather just be able to right click a note and select "create note in", then have this subnote be the new folder. That would be just one step, instead of 6 Anyways Evernote team, other than this, I really like your product... cheers
I am fairly new to Evernote and I have watched videos on HOW TO use Evernote and it have seen what appears to be subfolders/notebooks. I have tried to make a subfolder of a Notebook but Evernote just makes a new Notebook and not a sub Notebook/folder. If I want to have a main folder such as Home Repairs then have subfolders say expenses, labor, etc. How do I make one of these sub folders of the main folder?
