  1. Hi, I really enjoy the work of the developers and the possibilities that the Evernote offer as a product. The only thing I would like to have more is to have a multiple number of reminders per one notification. As a student I sometimes have seminars at a list of different dates, and I have to be aware of them every time. I would find it much simpler to create one note of the seminar and attach to it the dates, and the array of reminders, rather then creating a special notebook, and filling it with a dozen of notes just in order to have the reminders among the other 5-6 important notes containing information. I would really appreciate it if someone would suggest me how to do this if it is possible, or otherwise if this would be implemented in one of the next updates. Keep what you are doing guys cause you are doing it right, it is by far the most advanced app of note taking and the most practical one. Thank you for your work! Have a nice day!
  2. How can I get notifications that a team member has edited a note? This is critical!!!! Please help
  3. I love using reminders, but I'd like them to be more prominent or be notified about them somehow. I see that (and remember from my iOS days) that you can set alarms within Evernote so that they show through the lock screen. I'd be happy with something that shows up as a typical Android notification at least, but the bigger the better. One option people seem to be to sync Evernote with Sunrise calendar. Other methods tried? Preferred? I don't want to get stuck in a loop of trial and error, etc. I looked a bit online and in the forum but couldn't find a good recommendation (other than to use Sunrise or one of the thousand other calendar apps). Thanks in advance for any tips/tricks you have.
  4. The Reminder Date, when being set, should indicate the day of the week. This happens on Android tablets and on PCs but it doesn't happen on smart phones. Whenever I am reviewing my outstanding tasks I'm always thinking "I'll do it next Wednesday" but the spinners used to set the date don't tell me the day of the week and so I have to jump out of Evernote to look at my calendar first to figure out which date to set the reminder on.
  5. Anyone knows how to tell if a note with reminder was completed or not? They disappear on the mobile widget but there is no difference on windows program.

  7. Today I noticed that when I look at a reminder note on my iphone, all of the content is replaced by the phrase "tap to edit." I can see and edit the content using the Evernote app on my macbook and when using the web version of Evernote. I am also able to view and edit these notes on my ipad. Has anyone else noticed this? I have restarted the app, synced it several times, and the problem persists. I am running ios 9.2 on my iphone and ipad, and El Capitan on my macbook, Evernote version 6.4.
  8. My computer and all devices are set to 24-hr time, but Evernote is AM/PM. How can I change that?
  9. It's good to have reminders at the top of the note list, but please also add the option to include reminders in the home screen.
  10. My intent is to be able to view my notes in List View with the following columns: Name, Tags, and Due Date. Obviously the first two are currently available, but the latter is not; the only way to currently view due dates on notes is either in the Card or Snippet views. Even then, thought, you're only able to view notes with due dates separately from the notes themselves. I think the addition of a Due Date column in List View--with the ability to sort them--would create a better flow. It would not only give me an easier way to view upcoming tasks/notes, but also be able view tasks/notes that need to have a due date. If I didn't already imply it, notes that don't have a due date would simply be clumped together at the bottom or top of the list (but not separated from the rest) based on how you sorted the list. With this addition, it'd also be nice to have a pop-up dialog box for adding due dates to notes without having a open the note itself (i.e. right-click context "Add Due Date" that opens a dialog box for adding a date/time). Not only would serve an easier way to add due dates, but give us the ability to add due dates to multiple items that need to be due at the same time (or due dates removed from multiple items). If you guys could add this option to Android/IOS, as well, we'd be best friends. I must also add my most needed request to each and every suggestion I put on here: please, please, please, add multi-select with multi-tag/-move/-delete of notes in Android/IOS. The mobile OS for each already provide a native way of long-press to multi-select. Thanks for the great product, guys/gals! I've been a faithful premium member for over 2 years now, and don't see me changing that anytime soon. Keep up the good work, and God bless!
  11. Just upgraded to the new Mac OS (El Capitan) this weekend and love the updates that have been done to the web clipper in Safari (I haven't tried out other browsers yet). You can now add a reminder and share right from within the browser. Thank you thank you thank you! That alone is worth upgrading the operating system.
  12. In the Windows desktop client, is there a way to see a list of reminders that were cleared or marked as done on a specific date or range of dates? Before EN 5, I kept each of my action items as a separate note (following TheSecretWeapon) and then when I completed an action, I added the date to the title and tagged it "action completed". I know that's a bit cumbersome, but it allowed me to recap what was accomplished that day or that week by looking at my note list with that tag. I'm thinking I can now accomplish this with the reminders if I can learn how. thanks for the help.
  13. Hello all! I hope I don't embarrass myself with this question, but I am struggling on my own, so here goes nothing! I'm trying to use the Reminders search grammar for the first time, and I'm not getting it to behave. When I follow the Search Grammar's instructions: I don't get the search results described. A search of reminderTime:day pulls up notes that all have dated reminders, but the dates are all over the place (through July). Same thing happens when I search reminderTime:20150512 or reminderTime:day+5. I really hope I'm just doing it incorrectly, and would love it if someone could point me the right way. Thanks in advance Photos below to explain better than my words.
  14. Hello Evernote users! Announcement: We are excited to be featured in the Evernote AppCenter Travel section and Top #50 Productivity in the US & Canadian iOS AppStores. Ways to get the iOS app worldwide: 1. http://ideaplaces.com/download 2. Search "Ideaplaces" in the Apple app store. We have been working incredibly hard to build a new iOS app called IdeaPlaces. It provides a new way to use Evernote by linking your notes to locations on a map and providing a way to explore them visually. As Evernote users ourselves we really believe that one of the most valuable things in the Evernote experience is context. With each thought written down, to-do created or photo taken, we believe there is tremendous value in showing contextual information around anything created. Also, we have worked hard to facilitate the sharing of notes and context in the most seamless way possible, during the note creation process. App summary and why it matters to Evernote users: http://blog.ideaplaces.com/ideaplaces-app-a-new-way-to-experience-evernote-around-places/ ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Here are screenshots and explanations of the features to give you a good idea of how it works. Visualization of notes After you link your Evernote account to IdeaPlaces your notes are sync'd and you can view all of them from points on a map. This allows you to explore all of the notes you have that contain location meta data. You can even create places and attach notes to them. By doing this, any note added to a place will then have the location meta data of that place. We have integrated with two main API's: Foursquare and Google Places. Ability to create robust notes quickly. Sharing integrated in the process. We have realized that creating notes from your phone has to be simple or users simply wont take notes from their device. This is why we worked hard on creating an incredibly fast way to create notes. Right from the visual map screen you can tap on the create note icon or wave the phone on any screen to start the note creation process. The note creation process allows you to add and edit the following: Title Location (pre-input & editable) Users to share the note with (text or email) Standard text Photo's (multiple sizes) Notebooks (including shared notebooks) Tags Location-based reminders To-do based notes and shopping reminders are easy to forget, but with location based reminders we are hoping to make them a thing of the past. In the note creation process simply set the location and tap reminder to make sure you get notified the next time you are in a 75m radius. Location enhanced notes Understanding the context of the note while you are actually viewing the note is important for you or anyone you share the note with. This is why we have enhanced all of the notes viewed or shared within the app with both google map and street view. These images link directly into google maps and provide an easy way to get back into IdeaPlaces. Feedback and beta testers We are looking for passionate users of Evernote like us to test our application and help us with feedback. If you would like to help this app evolve into a truly amazing Evernote experience we would love your help. Here is our contact email to request a free coupon code or become an active tester on Testflight. signup@ideaplaces.com http://www.ideaplaces.com Download the app on the iOS app store now! We are actively developing the application and can guarantee a response within a few hours. We are still in the early stages of this app and believe that it can have a tremendous impact on the way that users use Evernote now and in the future. We can't wait to see what this will become! Let us know what you think and if you have any comments or suggestions post below! Thanks
  15. I'd like to request a change to the way iOS apps handle completed reminders. Currently in the notes list for iPhone and iPad* the reminder icon for a completed reminder is identical to that of an incomplete reminder. In each case the icon is a solid green alarm clock – see screenshot which shows a reminder that I had completed. It would be more helpful to have a different icon for completed reminders. Perhaps a grey icon? This change would reduce confusion. Often I scroll through my notes list and see these icons and think, "I thought I did that already?" In the past I began "clearing" all completed reminders so that the icons wouldn't show up in my notes list, but I then thought I'd rather keep some kind of record of what I have and have not done with my EN reminders. The immediate visual feedback in the notes list would be helpful to me, and probably to others. * If a note is open in the right pane then we can differentiate some completed reminders by a struck through date. A grey icon could work here, though I appreciate that grey text would also be needed.
  16. I would like to have a list of my reminders come up in the left hand panel, so I know what's coming up in the next few days/weeks. The Knowledge Base article on Using Evernote Reminders to manage tasks says that reminders appear in a to do list pinned to the top of your note list. I have been going round and round in circles trying to work out how to do this! Does anyone have any ideas on how to set this up? Carol
  17. Sorry if I am missing something but are there plans to make viewing Reminder notes a default option or at least a clickable option as soon as you open the app? Rather than selecting notes, then selection reminders? Same for web beta if possible? Tks
  18. Just got the beta of INBOX by gmail -- and IT. IS. AMAZING!!! I replaced Mailbox (iOS) with it. and replaced apple mail on my desktop with it. The video on youtube shows off the wrong features. Actually using the app for the PINNING (important emails) feature and for REMINDERS is a flawless experience and has kept me super organized. Anyhow, had to spread the news because downloaded it yesterday morning, and already obsessed w/ how much I like it here's a vid about the app
  20. I'm really happy with the reminders in evernote. But a few days ago, I have been tested google keep and their option to trigger reminders by location. This makes reminders much more useful and intuitive. Google keep is very limited in editing and sorting but this little feature is amazing. Hope to see something similar in a future evernote version. Hope this request hasn't been made bevor.I didn't find something similar.
  21. I set up sync between Evernote reminders and Remember the Milk, so now I have both apps (RTM & Evernote) push notifications when the reminder time arrives. I prefer using only Remember the Milk to manage reminders, but I can't find a way to disable the notifications from the Evernote app...
  22. There are times I want to simply want to remove a date from a reminder while keeping the reminder intact. Right now, the only way I can find to do that is actually clear the entire reminder and then re-set it. That seems weird. Am I missing something?
  23. BASED ON THE RESPONSES RECEIVED THUS FAR, THE ANSWER IS "NO". I've subscribed to a CRM - Insightly. Thnx to those who have participated here! I am attempting to use Evernote as Contact Management System or as a Contact Relationship Manager (CRM) for my real estate business. So far, so good! If I could add a recurring reminder while also using the reminders for a single (one-off) reminder at the same time, that would be so amazing. There may already be a way of doing this, and if there is, please point me in the right direction. I tend to use Evernote on my iPad about 90 percent of the time. Thank you Sam Soukas
  24. I accidentally clicked the "don't show reminders" button on the note list and now I can't get my reminders to show again. I use reminders all the time, so I really need my reminder list back. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks.
  25. It is possible to set the reminder date of a note with applescript? Edit: sorry, I put this topic in the wrong place. How to move to 'Help' section?
