  1. EVERNOTE FANS android users.i am a heavy user of EVERNOTE and huge fan. i use it for everything. the use of reminders was not good enough for me , so , i have developed, for my own use, a 3 dimensional unique view of REMINDERS.Looks great , easy to use , colofull i would love to get you input before uploading it to the EVERNOTE app center. interested ? , send me a request , manny@REBO.com and i will send you back the APK. ( no tricks , no malware , no virus )
  2. I'm not sure this is possible (I couldn't figure out how), to receive notifications for updates (edits, added files) for a given notebook I'm sharing (or within a notebook someone has chosen to share with me). I see that I can make reminders to myself (or chat to others), but it really would be helpful in my case at least. As a teacher, I like to receive notifications when a student has altered a notebook (esp. ones that they created). Is that at all possible, desirable?
  3. I love reminders and know how to do them via email but I can't find hot to do them in the Windows desktop client. I have a note I'm creating (or already created) and want to add a reminder. Can't see anything that looks like an alarm clock icon like the Mac interface has. I've looked in the menus, had the note open and closed (highlighted), etc. No luck. Please advise. Thanks! For context, I'm using the classic Windows client (because, and I've posted about this, the new client is completely impractical for how I use Evernote...so I hope the answer isn't "Use the new client to get r
  4. I have the Outlook app for iOS and I love the feature that picks up the EN reminders and puts them in your calendar. It even has the green EN icon next to the reminder. However, I can't figure out if my desktop version of Outlook can do the same thing? I would love to create an "EN Reminder Calendar" in Outlook that I can overlay with my normal appointment calendar. Any thoughts? Thanks.
  5. Hi, I keep a different note within my "meetings" notebook for the many different meetings I attend. In each note I am constantly using the "to do" check box to keep track of my take aways from the meeting and what I'm responsible for completing. It would be really nice if there was a feature that could be turned on that highlighted any notes that had unchecked to do boxes. This would help to make sure I don't forget to go back to a note to see what I need to do. If it was highlighted or popped up some kind of reminder when I opened Evernote I would know I still had a action item from a me
  6. These were written with the OS X client in mind, but hopefully the spirit of the updates could be reflected on the other clients as well. Bulk Change Due Date This will be extremely convenient for anyone trying to do something non-trivial with the Reminder feature. There is currently no alternative except to manually click each note, go to Reminder -> Change Date -> click calendar/click the text entry field and update it there. If you want to change 10 date-less reminders to be due at the end of the month, it's a big hassle. Users should be able to change the Due Date on multiple rem
  7. Ever since the new iOS update, individual notes cannot be sorted according to due dates (reminders). I used to be able to click on an individual notebook, and view my notes sorted by reminders. Now, there is just a single notebook named Reminders that you can view them by. Am I doing something wrong?
  8. Greetings, I've been using Evernote for a few years and recently I started to deal with recurring dates for projects. For me, a downside of Evernote is the lack of recurring reminders. I tried two apps with the reminder function, Todoist and Google Keep. However, Todoist locks the feature for its Premium users, which is a major reason for me to look for something else, since I already pay for the Premium version of Evernote. I found in Google Keep a solid app to use in integration with Evernote, specially because of its robust reminder function, with a lot of possibilities to set recurring
  9. Does everyone sharing a notebook see a reminder set on a note in that notebook? Does it make any difference if the reminder is set by the notebook's owner or one of the other people sharing the notebook?
  10. Howdy, Members: I would like to change a REMINDER DATE from PAST to CURRENT on my PC. Reminder Alarm Icon is missing... and unable to find how to insert in tool bar. (See: attachs) Even deleting reminder and clicking on down arrow (right of Info) does not provide CURRENT option. PLEASE ADVISE. Thank you much! ~ Alan
  12. Google Calendar (GC) has multiple sub-calendars (layers is another way to think about it), one of which is Reminders. When using Cronofy to sync Evernote with GC (which puts all EN notes with a reminder date into GC), the only option I see is to sync to the main calendar. Since I use EN for task management, I have lots of EN notes with reminder dates, but most of these aren't calendar events and I'd like to keep that clutter off the main calendar, which I'd like to use only for events. Is there a way to get EN reminders into the Reminders calendar of GC instead of the main calendar?
  13. After years of consistently receiving reminder emails, I have recently stopped receiving them. I am confident that: They are enabled Not going to my junk mail I have reminders for the day I have filed a ticket with Evernote support but I'm still waiting for a response. Has anyone experienced this issue? Thanks.
  14. Maybe I'm missing this, but I was previously able to call up my reminders separately from a shortcut view by tapping the reminders button on the top or bottom (strange that it bumped around). With 8.0, I can see my reminders in the general "notes" area by selecting "Reminders" from the top. It then shows all reminders in order of due date, BUT my shortcuts no longer have the ability to view reminders by due date. I can only arrange by created date or edited date for all notes. This is important if you hope to manage reminders for specific tags or notebooks - to exclude non-associated remi
  15. Description of the problem: setting reminders in Evernote on iPhone and then clicking on a reminder (in notification center) opens up the note the reminder is attached to however, when I go back to my notifications the other notifications are now missing from "Today" view on the iPhone? Sometimes I have quite a few notification which I miss in notifications center after I've opened Evernote and it really is confusing. Would it be changed in your next updates? It would be great if the reminders stay in notification center untill we tap on it or delete them separately as for example notificatio
  16. Using the iPhone app you need to select Notes and than Reminders to show the list with reminders. Would be nice (and there is enough free space) if you can select Reminders directly from the start-up screen.
  17. Hi, I have created a custom search which search for notes within a specific notebook and with one or more specific tag. It looks like this and works just fine: notebook:"Actions Pending" tag:"11 Home" Now, my plan was to extend the search, so all notes with a due date tomorrow and onwards was excluded, so I tried this: notebook:"Actions Pending" tag:"11 Home" -reminderTime:day+1 However, it seems like the search term "-reminderTime:day+1" also excludes all notes without any reminder at all, which I dont want. So, is it possible to make a single search in Evernote for notes w
  18. Evernote needs setting for unique notification ringtone rather than using the default. I want to be able to distinguish Evernote reminders from other events.
  19. I can open a note on the iPhone and use Siri to "remind me of this". It will put a link in the built-in iOS Reminders app to the Evernote note. Love this feature, however, now that MacOS Sierra has Siri built it, I'm wondering if the "remind me of this" feature will come to the Mac. Right now, Siri responds with "I can not remind you about the app". I know EN has built in reminders. I use EN reminders in a different way (longer term tickler file). Would love to know if this feature is coming!
  20. Evernote Premium, iOS version, running iOS 10.0.2, iphone 6S Plus. I use what I consider to be a significant number of reminders on my notes. I would love to see any or all of the following features in the iOS version: 1. A "tomorrow" button for when I am changing the time in my reminder. 2. A "repeat" option, very similar to the ability inherent in iOS reminders to have reoccurring reminders. 3. "Add to calendar" so that my reminders or even just an Evernote icon, are visible in my calendar which prompt me to check Evernote. 4. Some sort of enhancement for the remin
  21. On my iPhone, when I go to the "Notes" view, I always see a "Reminders" field at the top of the screen. I don't use Reminders and I'd prefer not to see that field - can I get rid of it? I know, it shouldn't be a huge deal, but it's a phone and the screen doesn't have much real estate. Plus it's just annoying. I don't see this field on my iPad. Thanks in advance! (And apologies for failing to find this same question elsewhere on the forum - it must be there, and I've looked, but I couldn't find it.)
  22. Please can we get an option to auto-delete reminders once marked as done?
  23. I'm fairly new to Evernote and love it so far. I was looking for a single app where I could make lists, notes and reminders. I love the fact that I can integrate the content between my iPhone, Mac at home and my Windows PC at work. I would like to see an enhancement to the Reminders feature that would allow for a snooze option and / or automatically launches the note or bolds the text on the home screen for the note with the reminder. The reminders are too easy to clear from my iPhone - they usually pop-up on my Lock screen and only flashes briefly on my PC then fades. If I'm not sitting at
  24. What were you people thinking? What used to be an easy to use feature that could be set in seconds, is now a several step process: I have to set the date, then I have to set the hour, then I have to set the minutes. Can we have the option to use the single dial to set all three at once back? 80% of my Evernote use is reminders, and if it's difficult to use, I'll quickly switch to a different app.
  25. How can I get notifications that a team member has edited a note? This is critical!!!! Please help
