  1. I actually only signed up for Premium status so I could carry some subset of my notes with me, reliably available even if offline. Obviously, it doesn't take but a few attachments (pdf, photos, etc) to strain the internal storage of my iPhone. Seems the only way to distinguish the LARGE notes I want to only read in the cloud, from the small notes I want to carry around like in my old Palm Pilot days is with separate folders, like: - Med-Educ (incl attachments) NOT offline - Med-Educ (w/o attachments) offline - References (incl attachments) NOT offline - References (w/o attachments) offline Is there a simpler way? Actually, as I type this, I recognize that I can make sub-folders... so References are together but sorted into separate storage options. Any better ideas? - GG
  2. Hello all, I have been a Premium subscriber for quite some time (2+ years). I recently tried to upgrade to Business, and I think I was successful. However, I appeared to have joined my own Business account (i.e. I was there twice). When I tried to remove one of my logins from Business, it downgraded my whole account to Basic, even though I am paid for Premium through March 2015. Objective: regain my premium status, upgrade my account to Business, and invite my team to shared folders. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom

  5. Hi, I recently upgraded to Evernote Premium. On my PC, everything went smoothly. HOWEVER, my Nexus 5 Android phone didn't seem to get the news. I continue to be unable to use the app because I have exceeded my monthly FREE allotment. I get some kind of onscreen message telling me to adjust my settings for Premium but don't know how/where to do that. Can you help me? Thanks
  6. I bought Evernote Premium a little bit ago, and i've been charged for it on my bank account, but it still says free (yes, i've tried syncing). I've looked at other posts, but they say to start my own post. Also, every time i lock my Nexus 5 phone, i get a home screen message along the lines of "you're upgraded to premium. Click here to change your settings." Just hoping this can get fixed.
  7. I am a new premium user. Can you 'offline sync' on the Android by tag? I can see how to do it by notebook, but was wondering if this feature was available.
  8. I recently left my old job and shortly thereafter I left my evernote business account. When I left the account I lost all of my personal notebooks as well. Anybody else have this problem? Help?! When I tried to contact Evernote support they directed me here because I am no longer a "premium" account.
  9. Does anyone know when Evernote is going to make business card capture functionality available with Android phones? I want to go to Premium but there is no way I'm doing that without that function. Don't they understand that there as many or more android phones being used than iPhones?! Rather short sighted to my way of thinking. Must be a bunch of Apple fan boys making the decisions...
  10. Hello, I have a new iPhone 6 and the only thing I'ld like to have from the Premium account is the Touch ID. I don't need more space and the other stuff. It's unfair and ilogic to upgrade to Premium (I'll not upgrade) just to have Touch ID!! What do you guys think?
  11. Hi all, We just released a new version of LiveMinutes (http://appcenter.evernote.com/app/liveminutes/web-apps) that allows you to collaborate on Evernote notes in realtime, like in Google Docs. As you know, when several people edit a shared note at the same time on Evernote, it creates conflicting versions. LiveMinutes solves this problem. Here is a video to show you how it works! http://youtu.be/FOxYa8NqRmc LiveMinutes allows users to collaborate on their notes in realtime, and everything is simultaneously synced back to Evernote, keeping your Evernote workflow intact. Edits made on Evernote are mirrored on LiveMinutes as well. We released this new version last week and we'd love to get your feedback! We really want to make this the best option for collaborating on your Evernote notes! You can give it a try at http://www.liveminut...s.com/evernote and let us know what you think! Alex
  12. I am currently a non-premium Evernote user on four platforms - OS X, Windows, iPhone, and iPad. If I purchase a monthly Evernote Premium license, will it cover all of my platforms? Is the license tied to my Evernote account independent of how I access it? If so, once I purchase a Premium license, then will I be able to save local notes to my iPhone, iPad Air, and iPad Mini as long as they are associated with the same Evernote account? In this case, I assume I need only purchase one Premium license to cover all platforms?
  13. Through a chat and a support ticket, I have learned I have absolutely no way to change my Evernote password using my iPad: I must resort to the laptop. No other web service provider (site or app) I use or am aware of suffers this limitation. IMHO it is a security shortcoming. My iPad is my main computing device—even for website design, development, and maintenance—not to mention the customary email, browsing, blogging, etc. I usually whip out the laptop only occasionally for ==>its own<== routine maintenance and backups: it is secondary and incidental. The iPad (and perhaps also iPhone) need more granular administrative control over the Evernote account. I hope the Evernote developers will devote some of my Premium funding to this pursuit with due haste.
  14. I know I can set the default to the last notebook used, but I would like to set to my Inbox notebook. If I feel like processing a note at the time I clip it, then I can change the notebook and give it tags. Sometimes that works great, but sometimes it interrupts workflow. For this reason, I'd like for it to go to Inbox if I do nothing and have that still be the default even if I changed the notebook the last time I clipped.
  15. I have been a happy EN user since EN 1.0 (when it was all one long tape with no tags). I have especially loved it on my ipad (tiles show images and are right-sized to skim many tiles at once) so I use it all day to lifestream in many directions (14, 000 notes total to date). Imagine the consternation when one day a few weeks ago (away from home and desktop), it refused to load, and then when it did, behaved like a fresh install with zero notes and a very small set of empty notebooks. I quickly reassured myself with a browser that all my data was still there (as a Premium user, I figured it had to be). But now that I am home again (900 new notes later) and able to be mutimodal, I am trying to fix the ipad problem. My main impediment to a reinstall of the app is that I still use ios5 (missed updating to 6 by a week and not ready to go to 7 yet <pffft>). Does anyone know if Evernote will do a "backwards" update, i.e. detect I still have system 5, and install a rev that works with 5? I did talk to customer service, but all they could say was "back up to a computer first and restore from there if needed" since such a backup would include the prior "IA" file (whatever that is). But it seems to me that if a new install fails, restoring from a copy of what I have now would take me back to my current state with the damaged version of EN 5.3.2? All ideas welcome! PS.. As a precaution, I renamed the empty notebooks it saved after crash (with an x at the end) so it wouldnt overwrite old notebooks when/if it fired up intact again. Was that a good thing to do, or not needed?
  16. Hi everyone, Last week on my iPad, I recorded a class for a classmate who was absent. The file was too large -- over the 25mb limit for non-premium service -- and an offer popped up to go premium. I declined and deleted the file. Since then, Evernote keeps popping up with an offer to go premium, almost every time I open it and often when I'm working on it. It happens when I press the button to sync as well. I would love to make the offer stop popping up -- I don't plan on going premium and the offer is really disruptive. Any ideas?
  17. I looked at the pricing options and found that "offline access" is a Premium feature, which I'm not interested in. I look over at the Free features and see that it is able to "sync" data across multiple devices... this is already confusing. Wouldn't data that is already synced to mobile already be accessible offline? If not, they may have just lost me as a potential user. If I wanted to set up a widget on Android, how would this appear offline? What about online? Are widgets even available in the free version of Evernote for Android?
  18. Evernote is a great product that only gets better with time. The more notes you have in Evernote and the more you use Evernote at work the greater the benefits you will get. This forum probably already knows that. Evernote is an integral part of my work and a very essential tool that helps me manage my team and work. I recently wrote an article on my blog about 5 tips I have on using Evernote at work. In short, the 5 tips are: Share Evernote Notebooks (Premium Feature) Run 1:1 Meetings Using Reminders Create a Separate Notebook for Each Team Evernote at Work – Create Notes for Projects Scan Business Cards with Evernote (Premium)See my blog for details and please let me know your thoughts! 19. I've been thinking about purchasing and using a scanner to automate my business document cycle for some time now. I'm looking to see how many people here have been using the document scanning feature with Evernote Premium. Which scanner are you using? Also, to increase the scope of this post for the business forum, what other products in the Evernote Marketplace have you purchased to improve and further leverage Evernote?
  20. Hello all, Am checking out the EN Business HD video to get a feel for what it can offer. Would anyone have a checkbox feature comparison between the Premium and Business versions? thanks, MIke
  21. Hi all, I'm not sure if this has ever been posted or brought up, so here goes. I'm a teacher and I use Evernote with my 50 students. I have students create and share notebooks with me, and I link them onto my account on my Mac application. I found out today that I can only link a maximum of 100 shared notebooks. This is very frustrating, as I want to have 150 notebooks (3 subjects) shared with me. It is a huge hassle to have the notebooks bookmarked, or to keep the invites in my email to access them. Does anyone have any good ideas about how to get past this hassle? Is there any possibility that Evernote will extend these limits? The limit applies for both free and premium accounts. I love using this tool to go paperless in my classroom, but this is a difficult limit for me. Any help would be appreciated.
