  1. Greetings, I've searched through the forums here and I'm still confused. And, I don't see the functionality in any windows version of the program. Can I make ink notes directly into an Evernote note - or not? Yes, I know i can import my OneNote notes, and that's close to fine. But I just want to open a note and start writing with the pen INSIDE the note. I do not want to use the input bar at the bottom of the screen - on an 8 inch table this takes up way too much space. I don't need handwriting recognition - I just want to write a note using the pen. TL;DR = is there an ability to write with ink inside a note, or not? thank you very much.
  2. I use this app for teaching on an iPad pro (ipad screen projected on the wall) and these are several issues with this app. Nonetheless, it is still the best app I found on the app store, so I am more than happy to provide feedback: [bug] the clip tool now has a bug and the clip stroke won't disappear [semi-bug, very annoying] the new zoom tool often is mistakenly triggered (terrible for live lectures). You should really allow to disable this new tool, as in a classroom environment this is VERY rarely needed (e.g. on a whiteboard you cannot zoom) there is no control on the eraser size (which is massive) like in the Apple note-taker move faster or tilt pen for a bigger eraser in class I find it very awkward to create a new page when I run out of space (sometime I just give up and create a new note insted). Further, when I move on to a new page I would often like to keep a bit of the context from the previous page... this is not possible at all. Having a continuous scroll (even as discrete events caused by a button) would be a huge improvement. there is no *live sharing* functionality. I use BaiBoard to share whiteboards live with colleagues, but the stroke quality of evernote is just plainly superior. almost impossible to draw points like you would on paper (small circular strokes interpreted as outliers?) snapping tool in thew new version is way too aggressive (and lengthy to turn on/off?). Why not use the ruler just like the Apple application? I found that quite amazingly well designed. there is no option to decide whether the toolbar should be on the left hand side or on the top side (there is a lot more real estate horizontally, when projecting you are essentially forced to use horizontal format otherwise the image is tiny, and your left hand would be a lot closer to the control toolbar so switches could be done a lot more efficiently) new zooming tool does not zoom about the center of the ping gesture (very counter intuitive) Feel free to ask me for clarifications if needed.
  3. I use Evernote Web on my Windows 10 touchscreen - which allows me to flip the screen and use it as a tablet. I would be great if Evernote Web (I use Chrome as my browser) had the ability to use a pen to create notes, just like you can on the iPad Pro app. In meetings, I use my laptop (HP Spectre) as a tablet - like an iPad Pro - and the pen functionality would be awesome. Any chance that this functionality is being developed/ aimed to be released?
  4. I've been an Evernote user for years now. Just upgraded to a 2-in-1 laptop/tablet, which came with a stylus. Tried using Evernote, with the assumption that an otherwise great product would obviously support a stylus. Unfortunately, the only thing you can do with a stylus (unless you have an iPad) is to use a bare-bones system to make an "ink note". How is it possible that your support for this is so terrible? I was hoping to be able to use the stylus to write on existing notes and jot things down, etc. No dice. Then to add insult to injury I learned that there is support for this, but only for iPad users who need an additional app to use the feature. Not acceptable, Evernote folks. Any chance of this getting implemented into the windows version? If not, I will have to switch everything over to One Note :-(
  5. A new suggestion in relation to using a PEN and HANDWRITING on WINDOWS 10 devices: I use a Samsung Galaxy SPro with Windows 10 device (similar to MS Surface). This device comes with a pen, however, I can't use the pen in the Windows 10 app or on the web version for Evernote. Could we please have the option of clicking on a 'pen' icon for handwriting in Evernote Desktop and Evernote Web? Similar to the Android App, whereby we can use a pen to handwrite in Evernote, merely by clicking on the pen button. I'd love this as a standard option in Desktop and Web versions, seeing most people are moving towards mobile and touch screen devices with Windows 10 and a pen. Many thanks for considering this. Kind regards Bianca
  6. I've used Evernote for a couple of years to sync my notes / lists between my Android devices and Windows desktops. I used my Samsung Note 8 to take notes using the SPen and then export them to Evernote (via LectureNotes). I also make lots of To-Do lists in Evernote. All of this works great but I'm hoping to extend it to my new Windows laptop. In particular I'm trying to find the best Windows 10 app for note taking with a active digitizer pen (Lenovo Yoga 260) which either syncs or exports cleanly to Evernote. I've tried a number of options but none are nearly as nice as my Android tablet solution. I realize with a number of the Window 10 apps I can share a note with Evernote Touch. However I prefer to use Evernote Desktop but can't figure out a way to have Evernote Touch sync in the background without opening it. Is this possible? Additionally the Windows pen note taking apps don't play nice with Evernote. Here are the negatives for each: OneNote: when sharing a note with Evernote I only get a broken image, which has been discussed elsewhere. I'm also not that happy with the OneNote interface. Scrble: shares the note name to Evernote as expected. However Scrble has very few options and the primary issue I have with its defaults is the line spacing is way to close together. Squid (Papyrus): has a great interface but when sharing a note it doesn't send the note name (it either exports the note as "ScreenShot" or "Squid" depending on whether you export the image or pages). I don't want to have to rename my note in Evernote after its imported. Bamboo Paper: only allows .pdf export, nothing directly to Evernote. Until Evernote supports pen input in their Windows application (and hopefully abandons the "Touch" version) I'm hoping to find the best application to take notes and export them to Evernote. Please share any recommendations or tips for making this process smoother.
  7. I use Penultimate as my school notebook, and I have my own title/importance system using pen thickness and color. I would love to see a favorite style set where I can save the styles and just touch them once (instead of up to 4 touches) to switch to a color/thickness style of my choice. It could be on the top of the zoom panel (each side of the "resize" button would be fine), the top left of the page or as a second row below the top bar. Anyway, thanks for having a space just for feature requests!
  8. I would very much like to have the functionality of ink notes and text notes combined. Ideally, the two would be completely combined so that there was no difference between ink notes and text notes. However, it would be really helpful if only text could be added to an ink note. Adding text to an ink note would go a long way. Please. Thank you. -bill
  9. When I pull my cellphone's pen another app is opened. But I want pull my pen e open a Evernote's new note. Because, normally, I am late and a write in a app that i dont want. Is there a way to fix this? If there isn´t, i want this fuction. ok? Thanks!
  10. When annotating an image in iOS Evernote app, the annotation tool does not ignore the user's hand print resting on the device screen. Using the iPad Pro pencil it gets confused and you end up with unwanted annotations from where your hand was resting. The same problem does not exist in the pen drawing functionality (not sure on its offical name - the icon at the top of an evernote document where you can draw freehand) when creating a new sketch in an evernote document - there, the pen and hand work flawlessly.
