  1. Hi there The manual of Evernote says we can integrate mail from Outlook. What about G mail? The manual is silent about this matter. if possible, how we can integrate it? I would like to know whether possible or not. Thank you in advance.
  2. I often use the Evernote clipper to take a screen clip of part of my screen so I can send it to clients. I open the resulting clip and try to paste into Outlook. When I do that, It shows up as a .png attachment. To embed it in an email message, I have to right click the image and open it in mspaint, then select all and copy it that way. Then I can paste it as an embedded message. Is there a simpler way to do this?
  3. I'd like to be able to be able to annotate a sentence in Evernote as a task and have that task automatically appear in MS Outlook. I don't care that much about how it is annotated although it would be nice if it was tied to a keyboard shortcut (ie. keyboard shortcut to add a check box before a sentence would result in that task also appearing in MS Outlook). I use MS Outlook to track my tasks, but Evernote for notes. I had been a OneNote user, but felt it was too structured for me. I tried a trial of TaskClone, but was only able to get tasks to be consolidated into a Evernote note and was unable to get it integrated to Outlook? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Dan
  4. Yesterday my work computer running Windows 7 Enterprise was updated to Office 2016 Professional. The Evernote clipper is showing up as an add-on and set to load on start up but the button to actually use is is missing from the ribbon. I've opened Evernote Desktop first and tried rebooting without success. I use this feature frequently to save important information from my emails. Can anyone help?
  5. Hi everyone I use the reminder function extensively as part of my GTD use of Evernote. I connect my Evernote reminders to my Outlook calendar. It would be really useful to have an "all day" reminder option as well as specific times in the day so that project reminders do not appear randomly within my feed. Would this be possible please? Or failing that, could there be a default time that remiders are set for if we choose to as at the moment it defaults to the current time? Bw Nigel
  6. I have a Microsoft Exchange account, so I am using Microsoft Outlook to interact with this Microsoft Exchange account. I have lots of contacts within Outlook, and many of these contacts have notes typed in the notes field within the contact record. Is there any intelligent way to have each of the outlook contacts that contain notes to become a new Notebook within Evernote, then with a new note in Evernote to contain the notes from Outlook?
  7. This goes to the Evernote Developers. You must accept users who do not want any integration with Outlook (or other systems and software, for that matter). Every time Evernote has an update, your Windows-application ask to close Outlook. I do NOT want Evernote to do anything to Outlook. Not now, not ever. Please, you MUST give us an option to use you Evernote Windows Application as a stand alone peace of software. There should be an option we could select, that Evernote would respect this choise in all later updates.
  8. I need some help. On occasion I have emails automatically show up in my in Evernote account. It seems that happens when I have Evernote open and Outlook open at the same time. I need to turn this off. I use outlook 2016. Thanks!
  9. I use tags religiously to organize my notes. I love the autocomplete inside Evernote. I wish the Outlook add in had the same behaviour. I can see when it has a (correct) suggestion, but I have to cursor down to get it. If I hit enter I don't get the tag, just the portion I had typed so far. That's all. Thanks, and thanks for the wonderful product. -Ted
  10. Currently using evernote on my Samsung S7 edge. It works fantastically with my outlook calender on my phone however any calender entry made through Evernote does NOT update the outlook calender on my windows 10 computer. So, evernote and out look both on the s7 work fine. Outlook s7 syncs with outlook windows 10 fine. Evernote calender entries made on the s7 don't show on the calender on windows 10? Am i missing something obvious? Thanks in advance Max
  11. Today we are announcing Evernote for Outlook, a new add-in that is now available to Outlook users. The add-in is available in the Microsoft’s Office Store today for all Outlook 2013, 2016 and Outlook on the web users with Office 365 mailboxes. It is also now available to users of the new Outlook.com. What is Evernote for Outlook? With the Evernote for Outlook add-in you can access your Evernote account without leaving the Outlook client. Just click on Evernote from the new add-in commands in your Outlook to try these features: 1) Save emails to Evernote Save important emails directly to the notebook of your choice. You can also add tags and remarks to give the email context. Want the whole thread and save the attachments too? No problem. 2) Attach Evernote note into your email Browse through your Evernote notes from the add-ins sidebar. When you find a note you want to share, the add-in can place a preview snippet inside the body of your message. When your friends and colleagues click it, they'll go directly to your note. How do I get Evernote for Outlook? Here are instructions for finding and installing the add-in, as provided by Microsoft: For Outlook.com users, you will soon be able to access the Evernote add-in via an add-in command on the top of the screen. Simply click on the Evernote logo at the top of the screen to launch the add-in. The add-in commands are rolling out to users in North America over the next few weeks, and then to users in other parts of the world. In the meanwhile, users can access the add-in through the steps below: In Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2016, click the File menu and then click Manage Add-ins. For Outlook Web App or Outlook.com, click on the gear icon (top right) and select Manage Add-ins In the Manage Apps/Add-ins page, click the + sign and then select Add from the Office Store. Select the add-in you want to install and then click the Add button to begin installation. The above mentioned add-ins work in Mac Outlook 2016 in message read experiences only. *Please note that you might see slightly different variations of this add-in in the menu, or find it in a different location in the window, depending on Microsoft’s release schedule. To learn more about the add-in and how to use it, see our Help and Learning article.
  12. I would like to see the following features made available to really make my Evernote Moleskines work for my needsd. 1) I want to be able to draw a to do list (check box followed by task), and then have the ability to take a photo and have it digitally converted to a typed checklist into evernote. I would also like the ability to update this list by checking off or 'x'ing out boxes on my checklists. 2) I would like the ability to tag items in my Moleskine without the need for stickers. Hashtags would be a good solution. 3) I would like to see if these features can be integrated into my MS Outlook (calendars/reminders/to dos) - however, I don't know that this is possible unless they are converted to digital.
  13. Hi, I've just downloaded Evernote to give it a try and right at step 1 I'm mystified. I have thousands of Outlook notes (used to be Entourage notes, but my old computer died and I had to upgrade to that not-very-friendly program). I exported them as an .olm thinking I'd be able to put them into Evernote that way. Then when I couldn't find any way to import the olm I tried looking through help and the forums here, expecting that this must be a very common "how to get started" kind of question... now I'm just lost. I see only ways to get a few notes sent over, individually and laboriously, or ways that seem to make my text notes into images which defeats the purpose, at least for me, of importing them. I feel like I must be missing something. Can a person with extensive Outlook notes get themselves started with Evernote without taking forever or losing all the organization and function of the old notes? If so, how?
  14. I'm using Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 x64. I just updated Evernote and now it's stuffing up my Outbox. I know it's the Evernote Outlook Clipper, as I only use a few add-ins, disabled them all, and tested each individually. This is what happens: 1. I write an email and it goes to the Outbox. My send/receive happens every 30 minutes, so it could be in there for a while. 2. I click into the Outbox for some reason - need to alter an email, etc. 3. The top email in the Outbox will be un-queued for sending - it won't be italicised, has "none" in the send field, and won't send for blood nor money. 4. I have to delete it and redo the email, careful not to click into the Outbox before it's sent. This is a screenshot of the Outbox with some test messages in it, showing the first one unread (bold), but not queued to send (not italicised): http://screencast.com/t/BV4fCK3fsH5l I can replicate this every single time and it's a big pain in the arse. I'm a Premium user, I use this feature in Outlook all of the time, and it's very seriously stuffing me up! There are some forums saying that it's an add-in marking the message as "read" (even though it's still bold, which means "unread"). Please fix this!
  15. Hello, I am a power EN user and I recently updated my Outlook EN plugin to the latest version. I like the new GUI interface. But I am having trouble with it as it either doesn't list/import my notebooks or sometimes it will have the list and when I go to save an email, it will say the notebook hasn't been found. Is there any known issues with the Outlook clipper? Also, one other item to note is that our company operates in the cloud using Remote Desktop. Not sure if that matters. I am also in charge of IT, so this had company wide implications I need to fix. I did notice that some random notebooks showed up once, which makes me think it was picking up another EN user's notebooks. Any idea what that is about? Our outsourced IT is looking into it, but thought I would at least post a message here for the other experts. Thanks in advance! Gary
  16. I have three email addresses on my phone and Microsoft Outlook 2016 on my PC doesn't do a good job of syncing updated and new Contacts to my phone for some of the accounts. So I sometimes will email a new contact to myself from my PC to my phone with the intention of opening the Contact attached to the email and saving it on my iPhone 5 (with the latest OS, whatever it is) as a new contact on my phone. But when I open the email on my iPhone, before my eyes, in about two seconds, the attached contact is converted to an Evernote something (contact? note?), and I can't open it to save it to my phone. (Doesn't open in EN or Outlook.) This has been going on for at least a month and I'm just now getting around to try to figure out how to fix it. Help, please.!
  17. Hello, I'm using outlook for mac V15.10 for my work emails. I would like to integrate with it so I can connect notes to relevant emails. is this possible? Thank you.
  18. Hi, I remote desktop from a Mac to my Windows 7 machine. When I click on the Outlook web clipper, I only get the outline of the clipper window - the middle is transparent. If I go to the laptop itself then all is present and correct, but if I remote desktop again from the mac I still can't' see the window contents. Any suggestions please? Thanks Rob
  19. I recently upgraded from Outlook 2011 to 2016. I had a really nice script available in the older version where I was able to select an email and, I suppose it could be called, print it to EN after selecting a notebook from a list. It was really quite nice. The resulting note in EN was clean without any of the forwarding ">" and other litter that comes with it. Dragging and dropping to EN leaves it in EML format as a file attachment. MS has chosen to not allow for the Applescripts in this new version. Any suggestions for alternative methods of achieving this?
  20. The clipping dialogue translates the English "Cancel" into "Kündigen", which is wrong. The correct translation and Windows standard would be "Abbrechen".
  21. Hi everyone! Is there any way to save scanned business cards as Outlook contact with picture of this card? I cant find any "export" option. When I'm using "save to contacts" option (with outlook contact book synced with iPhone contacts) I see this new contact in desktop Outlook but without picture. Any ideas? I have lots of cards and it s really hard to add picture to every contact manually. Thx for any help.
  22. My Evernote recently updated and I seem to have lost the ability to save emails directly from Outlook to Evernote with the new version. I have read some of the related posts and tried to download the add-in again, but I keep getting an error message since I have a newer version of Evernote. Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.
  23. The recently introduced add-in (accessible via the microsoftonline portal) for clipping emails received to Evernote (currently v.1.1, I believe) works properly and efficiently. However all it does is clip the subject header from the message and, in Evernote, permits linking to the email body, apparently retrieving it from the server. This is barely acceptable, especially when working offline for any reason. Is this intentional? If so, it would be nice if the developer(s) would make it clear. Is this a premature launch of a product add-in still under development? If so... etc. Others have made note of this on the Microsoft Outlook site online. There has been no discernible response from either Microsoft or Evernote. For me, this renders the add-in next to useless.
  24. The Clipper for Outlook Pro 2010 (Clipper v. 5.8.13.81.52) greys out when I select multiple mails for clipping. The previous version (it seems to have updated itself) allowed me to clip an indefinite number of mails in one go. Now I've got to go one at a time. What gives?
  25. Hi - First time poster... I use the Outlook Plug-in constantly and i love it...I've looked through many of the threads here but have not been able to find an anwer to my question. Is there a way to see which emails have already been clipped in Evernote ? I don't immediately clip emails into EN and not for all projects either, but often when I am sifting through emails, I find one that I really want to clip into a a certain project folder. It's not a huge deal if I clip twice or more, it's just a waste of time so I'm wondering if there is something like a column i can add to Outlook that shows me what emails I have already clipped. Thanks for any help!
