  1. How can I write this math formula in Evernote? https://blog.evernote.com/it/2013/12/12/paolo-antonini-ricercatore-matematico-racconta-come/
  2. After taking a photo of a page of text with my iPhone, how can I process the photo of said page in order to extract the highlighted area of the text as a note using (EN) for Mac?
  3. Hello! I just want to add a feature request that would save us LOADS of time. I have ADHD so I need to be as organized as possible. So here is my feature request: Can you guys please sync the audio time to match with what I'm writing? I use a separate audio recorder to record lectures, and while I'm doing that I glance at it to know the recording it time and write that on my evernote. that way, if I need clarification on a certain topic, instead of finding it on the audio later, (this takes loads of time, btw) I can just look for the certain time I put it on my evernote. Just incase you're a little confused, When recording audio lectures, I use a different audio recorder, because I don't think my ipad is optimized enough to get the lectures. Thus, I have to use those two devices.
  4. Hello everyone, This is my first post here so go easy on me if I'm breaking any rules. I am a premium Evernote user and I absolutely love Evernote. I use Evernote for studying and since I really like to organize all the information I'm about to learn, Evernote helps a lot in that regard. I have a question if you guys don't mind. I have some material on Evernote that I need to memorize. Is there anyway that I could make flashcards with Evernote. Something similar to Anki like fill the gap questions or just normal flashcards? Is there a way to replace keywords in the text with '....' for example and then when I hover the mouse over the gap, I could see the actual word? I tried to use Studyblue but for some reason it's not connecting to my Evernote account and I've emailed them several times but no answer. I appreciate your help.
  5. I just have a question... I'm in high school and i find ever note quite handy . I'm also a bit new to it and i would like to know if there is a note book limit (with out premium) .. Thanks ! Sincerely Kimmy
  6. I homeschool my three kids and think it would be nice to be able to import/scan in worksheets and have the do the actual worksheet on the screen. Is that possible? Is it similar to marking up a PDF? TIA
  7. As said in the title I want to suggest that the makers of Evernote should make another application called Evernote Music. In Evernote Music I have six suggestion of what would happen the application. Feature #1: The first feature of Evernote Music is already available in Evernote today. The feature is being able to take a picture of some sheet music ( either printed out on paper or a virtual copy in the computer) and the picture would be stored within Evernote. Feature #2: As a continuation from feature #1, the second feature would be the the pictures stored could be transformed into a program that the pictures would be made into a virtual copy that has the exact same notes, rests, dynamics, accidentals, excreta. And on this virtual copy use can use it to scroll and look at the music. Feature #3: Also a feature of this virtual copy (instead of just being able to look at the music and play it on and instrument of your choice) Evernote Music would be able to play the notes, rests, dynamics, accidentals, excreta with perfection. With an addition to this action in the settings you could be able to choose which instruments to use when the notes are played. I would like at the least these instruments to be able to choose: trombone, tuba, flute, piano, violin, bass, and trumpet. Feature #4: This feature is is the exact opposite of feature #3. In this feature the user would be able to play notes on an instrument and a program would be able to hear the notes and rests and would place the notes and rests onto a musical staff. plus the program would add accidentals if needed. The only problem I see is that the hearing of the instrument would have to be turned on and off manually and if wanted multiple instrument then they would need to play one at a time. Feature #5: This feature is about using feature #2 in that the user could be able to edit the notes, rests, dynamics, accidentals, excreta. In case of feature #4 messes up then the user could be able to change the problem. Feature #6: This feature is really simple to instal and use I would think. This feature is to be able to use a metronome. If Evernote Music uses a metronome that is able to change the beats of the metronome. Thank you for reading my ideas for a new Evernote app ideas and if you make Evernote Music a real app I hope you use all listed features in the description. Also please reply listing your opinions, what other instruments should be included, and suggestions for new features. With Evernote Music student can use it to help get the rhythm, right note, and can experiment with different rhythms.

  9. I am learned about Evernote in March 2012 while searching for productivity tools that can be used by all my devices. I love the idea of streamlining my efforts. I'm working on how best to apply it to my high school science classes. I teach Oceanography & Earth Science. The school where I teach is adopting an 1:1 model this semester by leasing iPads for our students and for us with textbooks loaded on them. I have chosen Evernote paired with a Flipped Classroom technique to deliver content to my students. As far as I know, I am the only teacher at my school choosing to Flip my Classroom. I am a bit overwhelmed with options/choices. Recently, I saw LiveBinder. If you are using Evernote is there a need for LiverBinder? Do they work hand-in-hand? Or would it just complicate things overmuch? Since this is a pilot for me, I want it simple for me to maintain and simple for my students to learn how to use. I do see some features of LiveNote that would be nice such as the way it is visually in tabs within a binder. Can someone please clarify this for me? I love the idea of Evernote as a productivity tool and I've downloaded all of the Apps. I know it will be a transition for my kids (and me!) and parents. LiveBinder has a visual component that I feel will be comforting for all involved in the transition, including my administrators. Help?

  12. My son and I have started using Evernote for his GCSEs in the UK with great success. We have a system now that is delivering him straight As in the subjects that he is using it in. All GCSE revision notes are supplied by the BBC site Bitesize and we both use Android phones and he has a Studyblue Flash Card account and Scan Droid on his smartphone. It goes like this. I webclip in Chrome the material for his subjects from BBC Bitesize. He edits them using material he has written down from school. We both create Flash Cards using Studyblue for that material. We have agreed on sets of 1 hour each. These are broken up into 40mins editing the Evernotes and creating Flashcards. 10 Mins Flashcard testing and 10 mins break. He does 2 sets per nights and 4 sets each Weekend. He has a countdown of how many sets he has left before the exams making it psychologically more positive as a he ticks off sets done and sees the work diminish and not think that it has to increase as he get's closer to exams. At the end of each week we go over the balance of "sets" in what subjects that he has done and needs to do. Moves it around his normal school work and then plan the week ahead. He can access all these notes on his mobile and take Flash Card tests whenever and wherever he wants. He "hides" Flash Cards he knows well and slowly reduces down to the most difficult. He Evernotes questions for the teacher so he doesn't forget and has now started using it to record stuff he wants to save for and stuff that he needs that he then shares with me. He is now less stressed about school work. He can look up any note he ever needs for school. The teachers now allow him to use his mobile during revision sessions and he takes it in turn with a study partner to test each other on the flash cards. I can monitor all his work. See weak areas. Have shared notebooks for To Dos and monitor his progress. We have been using this system along with Mindjet Mindmap apps for 6 weeks now. His grades have improved and we even have a better relationship as there are less miss communications and more support. All this and I live 300 miles away from him and just see him in the holidays. His mother is pleased as she has seen the results. Thanks Evernote and I know we will be finding new ways to use this in the years ahead.
