Hi everyone, When I click a hyperlink in a note in Evernote, it opens up a new Chrome browser window to my homepage (Google) and not to the link I've just clicked in my note. Any idea how to resolve this? It started happening a month or so ago, and I thought it was a bug that would get resolved in subsequent updates but it hasn't corrected itself. I don't believe I made any changes to my settings or Evernote itself. Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated -
HEY - brilliant idea before EN goes bankrupt... Offer (at NO DISCOUNT) the option for those of us with tens of thousands of notes, the ability to use your software - with tags, notebooks, and search - THAT'S IT... Strip it of all the BS - and, I don't know, put two engineers and 3 more people on it for support - then at least you will have something reliable... You are more than welcome to add coffee maker (control) integration and chat - you know - a product that EVERY platform in the world has - and NO ONE USES... You should think about integrating the McDonalds app - that way -
I just used the Meeting Notes feature in Evernote Web for my meetings today, and it's pretty cool, even if it's limited to the EN Web Client. Is it possible to bring that to the Mac client, since that's where I am 95% of the time? It's pretty awesome! ? I understand that the Google Juice needed may require a web browser. I hope you can bring back it to the Mac.

It's weird but I can see a my note on https://www.evernote.com but the same note (sure %100) exist on evernote app running on macoss high sierra but is 'empty' completely. I think it's a bug

Hi all, I noticed that my evernote online account and my evernote mac app did not have the same notes in them. There were many less notes on the online account, and none of the notes in the app ever displayed in the online account - the two were obviously not connected at all. I logged out of the mac app today and then logged in again. When I logged back in again, the few notes that were displayed on my online account now appeared in my mac app, but all the rest were gone. This one has me stumped, I hope someone can help. I can create a screen snap in Skitch of a database screen, name it, select "jpg" as the file type, and then drag it to my hard drive. I move to the next record in the database and try to repeat the exact same steps, but this time within seconds of making the second screen snap in Skitch, the first jpg disappears from my hard drive. I can actually see it vanish, it just leaves. This is a procedure that I have done weekly for almost two years, creating about twenty-five screen snaps per week. Hi! I wanted to download the latest version, saving my very old version, but hit the wrong button and didn't save the antique version of Evernote. I see that I have the note files on my Mac, but they are not being recognized by this update nor on web. I DO have all my notes displaying on my iPhone, but not sure how to get them from there to my desktop/web. Any assistance is much appreciated— I obviously am clueless to how this works! Thanks! -
For years I have used the Evernote "Search Notes" feature frequently from both my desktop applications and my mobile devices. Since updating my Mac desktop to version 7.0.2, the Search Notes feature is not returning complete results (notes that I know have that criteria). However, when I perform the same search from my iPhone app, the mobile app works correctly returning all of the notes in the results no matter where and on what device the note was created. Hello. I am trying to figure out how to best use Evernote, and have been cycling between devices and not long ago settled on using E on my Samsung and my Apple MBP. But today I got the following message - that my local Evernote data is managed by a newer version of Evernote than the one I have been using (6.1.1), but Evernote_RELEASE_6.13.3_455969 requires an OSX-update 2 versions higher, to 10.11, which I am not willing to perform, as it would kill a lot of apps and slow my machine considerably. why do i have to keep installing the exact same evernote updates? 7.0.2 i've installed this update at least 3 times on my macbook pro. does it have anything to do with me having an imac and a mac pro that uses the same evernote account? -
Hi! I am currently on MabookAir with MacOS HS 10.13.3 When I annotate, if I click away from the annotation window it automatically closes and saves the changes, even if I have a split screen view and am taking notes in another EN note. It's super annoying to have to open up annotation and find my place again if I wish to take notes as I go or do absolutely anything for an even a moment outside of that annotation, EN or otherwise. Is this a bug or an infuriating design flaw? -
My search index seems to no longer work after the upgrade to 7.0. This is extremely frustrating, since is is probably the key usecase for using Evernote, at least for me. Researching this topic I found that in previous version you could rebuild the search index, which I would like to try, but in 7.0 I don't see this option. I do notice that once I have opened or newly create a note, it does show up in search, so this applies for all older and therefore the majority of my 782 notes. I'm on the latest 7.0.2 on Mac 10.12.5 Search works flawlessly on my iOS app. Any h -
I use Skitch for screenshots and have them automatically saved to Evernote. At some point all of my notes made with Skitch have become locked and are listed as Read Only. This is on both Mac and iOS. Any thought or help is appreciated. -

Please, Please, Please allow Recent notes to be removed. It is a distraction and a hinderance to work flow. This is in regards to Mac and iOS.

When I search in the Mac app for terms, only a dozen or so results appear. However, when I search in the online version of Evernote for the same terms, I get hundreds of responses. How can I make sure my Mac Evernote displays all the results? (It is fully synced already, or so I believe...) -
I got the notice that Evernote 7.1 beta 1 was available for Mac. I clicked the button to install it, and when I was prompted for an admin user name and password, I hit cancel (i haven't had my coffee yet) — and it installed anyway! Which makes me wonder: what exactly does the admin username and password do, if not entering it will install it regardless? MacBook Pro 15" macOS 10.12.6 (16G1212) Is this a Sparkle bug? A macOS bug? When trying to get to a nested tag, eventually it will close all/most open tags. Thus I cannot use this product on a Mac effectively. I restarted and updated the OS. Is this a known bug? I have version 7.0.2 and macOS 10.13.3 using MacBook Pro Mid 2014. Cheers for any help. -
Hello All, Is there any keyboard shortcut for opening "hyperlink under the caret" in Evernote for Mac? I often find myself in a need to open the hyperlink (or even note link) under a caret and using the mouse is not comfortable and quite slow for me. I've found following reference for windows: https://www.shortcutworld.com/en/win/Evernote.html | https://goo.gl/MtHqbu There is "Open hyperlink under caret (or use Ctrl+Enter)". Unfortunately, I couldn't find such shortcut for Mac: https://www.shortcutworld.com/en/mac/Evernote.html Isn't this possible at all? -
Update 2: We have posted a fix for users who have updated to 7.0.3 from 7.1 Beta and received a "version too old" error. The update will appear in the app when selecting update and can also be found here. The update contains the same content as 7.1 Beta 1. Thank you for your feedback. How can I get back Note content "sql" ? It's blank in full vision. All my notes about sql are recorded in this one, and I have an interview tomorrow! I just updated to V7.02 a few minutes ago. -
Hello Evernoters! I have a 128gb SSD so every gigabytes counts. I think i might have between 3-5gb of notes. My question is: how can i limit the number of notes Evernote syncs? Or, how can i limit the type of content it syncs? E.G.: syncing only the text of every note but not the images. Thanks in advance! -
Hi. When I am navigating through the results of a search it's very difficult to know where the note is exactly stored. This feature would add an option to go to the note location in a folder. It's simple, but can help me a lot organising my notes. Often I find that I create similar notes in different folders. Simplicity is key!
