  1. Why can't I move focus from a note or search to the list of notes visible on my screen? Shortcuts abound to populate this list, but once I've selected a single note (or stuck with the first result in search), I can't get back to the list at all! For example, I type Cmd-Alt-F to move focus to the search box, type my search to find matching notes, hit enter to search and see the list of results, and then I can't cycle through the notes which matched my search. Tab just opens a search options box, as does down - I have to drag my mouse around and pick out the note I want to read, then once I've done this I'm trapped in the note and can't get back to my results list. There doesn't seem to be a general shortcut to return focus to the view of notes, either from the search box, sidebar or from within a note. Please add this shortcut, or document it if I've missed it, otherwise any work you've done to add shortcuts to jump to notebooks, search or shortcuts becomes kind-of useless once your users have selected a note to read or edit.
  2. First, I'm waiting for the Android version, which would be great. I have a Samsung Note 2 and really, really like the handwriting recognition keyboard on the Samsung keyboard. I actually have returned my Livescribe since I can search in Evernote and use my stylus for natural note taking. I really like the Penultimate potential but would be GREAT if we could have a keyboard input option as well in the event we want to actually use text input. Is that possible? Anything in the works? Thanks.
  3. Is there really no keyboard support for navigating between selecting notebooks/tags and the note title? And if not, please consider this a feature request to include that keyboard support, because .... yeah ... it's like useful and things.
  4. Hi, I just started using Evernote on my new Android phone (a Samsung Epic Touch 4g running Android 4.0.4) and I would like to use Swype as my input keyboard in Evernote. I use it in other programs just fine, and in fact I picked an Android phone because iOS doesn't support slide-to-type keyboards. I've been pleased with the ease of using it in all the other Android apps. But I can't find a way to change the keyboard for Evernote... am I missing something? I know there are other Swypers and Shapewriters who use Evernote, but I haven't seen anything in the forums stating whether it's supported or not. Thanks in advance for your help.
  5. I imagine lots of folks make changes to note titles. It'd be great to have a keyboard shortcut that would put the cursor into the title field (and potentially even "select all").
  6. I have searched to see if this has been asked before and am surprised that it hasn't: Keyboards shortcut to invoke the "Search Notebooks" field (not the search notes field, top right). I start most tasks by navigating to the appropriate notebook. Mousing to it each time is extremely tedious. I believe there is a shortcut on PC but not Mac?
  7. Hello all, I have a strange problem: Since the "new iSight note" icon is not available anymore, I tried to create a customized keyboard shortcut for that using the keyboard preferences of mac. When I open the file menu in Evernote, I can see my new shortcut beside the relevant menu item, but when I use the shortcut, I get the screen region capture function instead of the isight note. I noticed that the shortcut appears also in the evernote menubar icon (where unfortunately there is no "new isight note" option) as a shortcut for the "clip rectangle or window to evernote". This is very strange and annoying and I can't seem to solve this duplicate shortcut issue. please help
