  1. In the Evernote iOS iMessage integration, is the sharing of messages to Evernote on the roadmap? This seems like such an obvious use case, and yet, so far, all we can do is share notes to iMessage. Probably it's just me, but I don't know anyone who has a use for that. I do know plenty of people who'd like to be able to offload iMessage messages to Evernote, especially the long ones, just so that they can be stored in a way that's much more easily retrievable and searchable.
  2. Hi all, We released Evernote for iOS 7.17 earlier today. This release contains new iOS 10 features – including an iMessage app extension and updated widget – and bug fixes plus fixes for offline notebooks and iPod Touch. 7.17 Notable fixes and improvements: iOS 10 feature: iMessage app Share a note directly in the Messages app by enabling the Evernote iMessage app extension Select from 10 suggested notes or search your notes - select a note to share by tapping the note in the iMessage app This will package a public URL for the receiver to view and if desired, save a copy into their Evernote account Receivers can tap the message to open the note within the Evernote iMessage app (on iOS 10) - if the receiver does not have the Evernote iMessage app, they'll automatically be directed to the App Store for iMessage to download Evernote and/or enable the Evernote iMessage app Update: v7.17.1 is now available and includes localization for the iMessage app extension - all other functionality remains unchanged Updated widget iOS 10 users with 3D Touch devices can now press on the Evernote icon on their device Home screen to see the compressed widget displayed with a suggested note to open If you don't have the Widget installed on your Search screen, tap "Add Widget" to install On the device Search screen in iOS 10, you can toggle "Show More" to expand the widget to show up to 3 suggested notes and buttons for new note, new scan/photo note, new reminder, or search Evernote - toggle "Show Less" to collapse the widget to show only one suggested note iOS 9 users will see an updated Today Widget that has updated styling similar to the iOS 10 expanded widget Additional improvements Fixed issue where notes in offline notebooks were not viewable while offline Fixed issue for iPod Touch users that limited note attachments or viewing Update for users with unsynced modified notes upon updating to 7.16 Read more about the iOS 10 features on our blog: Evernote 7.17: What’s New for iOS 10.   3. Hi all, We released Evernote for iOS 7.17.2 earlier today. This release includes an iMessage app improvement, the return of simplify formatting, and fixes our top crashes. 7.17.2 Notable fixes and improvements: iMessage app improvements Tapping the new native "Save to Evernote" button while viewing a shared note in the Messages app will now launch the note editor within the main Evernote app Within the editor in the main Evernote app, you can save the note as is, choose to move the note to a different notebook, add tags, or modify the title or content Remember that this is a copy of the original note shared - your modifications will only live in your account Improved sender note list formatting on iPads Settings > General > Show Notes in Widget has been changed to Show Notes in Widget / iMessage Additional improvements Simplify formatting has returned Search highlighting in images has returned iPad external keyboard shortcuts for inserting date and inserting time have returned Copying and pasting using the Apple Pencil while sketching has been fixed Fixed the crash that occurred when creating a new note while listening to songs in the native Music app in iOS 10 Fixed issue with generation of private note links Fixed issue where changing the color of private note links on the Mac made them not work in iOS Fixed issue where some ScanSnap PDFs could not be opened in iOS Fixed issue where pasting content from other iOS apps into a note caused a crash Several other crashes have been fixed You can download the Evernote for iOS app from the App Store.
