  1. I wonder if someone can help me please? I've been using EN successfully with my Mac and ScanSnap to scan and import a large number of paper documents. (I use Hazel to send to Evernote from my "Scanned Documents" folder.) I'm not sure how this has happened but a number of files have been re-sent to EN and are now duplicated notes. Others have yet to be sent to EN. It's got messy. I need to do an audit so that i can compare the files sent to EN with the contents of my scanned documents folder to check for both duplicates and files not yet sent. The easy answer (I thought) would be to sort the notes in EN according to the PDF filename, allowing me to rapidly spot duplicates and to compare with my folder contents. But I can't see how this is possible. Is it just me? I can't compare note titles with stored files because I've renamed most of them as they are imported to make them meaningful and indexable. Each note bears the filename and note title prominently when viewed, but is it impossible to see just a list of underlying attachments i.e. filenames? Failing that, does anyone know of a utility that would do this? Or otherwise have an idea how best to approach this problem? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  2. After I create a Skitch document and sync it to Evernote, it would be nice to have a right-click Rename Attachment... feature like there is for other images and PDFs. Currently, if I drag a file from Evernote to my desktop, it's titled as skitch.jpg. If I drag it from Skitch, it maintains my custom filename. If the filenames could sync regardless of being renamed in Evernote or Skitch, that would be awesome!
  3. I was searching for a cover letter I sent to a job recently, and searching for "cover letter" returned no results, even though the file is named "cover letter.doc". Luckily I remembered something else in the text of the note that I could search for. Why in the world are file names not indexed??
  4. HI, in the past I've collected urls by dragging their fav icons from a browser's location bar and then dropping this into folders on a Mac...this results in a .webloc file with a long name clearly describing the url. Unfortunately when now moving a large amount of these .webloc files to an Evernote note, they are included in a note as attachments with extremely brief filenames (in comparison to what was available in a Mac's folder). Is there anyway to increase the filename size of these attached .webloc files so they are more clearly legible? Is there a quick method of copying and pasting such .webloc files into a note as their raw urls - without opening each one in a browser to hand copying them? (example attached...just would like to dump a whole bunch of .webloc files into Evernote and still be able to read them...) thanks!
