  1. I have the old sponsored group, and Moleskine redemption doesn't work there. But I might be compelled to jump to business if I get 3 months free with each notebook. Will it work, or is the 3 months only for the regular premium?
  2. Hi All, Any other business users out there using an iPad? Having just got back from a couple of days in London, I was frustrated to not be able to get a very fast connection on the iPad, which I have set up to run most of my business software. So I thought I would make a lot of my Notebooks available offline. However, I don't seem to be able to see any of my 'Business, Notebooks' to select them. Checked another user, on another iPad and it is the same there. Had a quick look at the specs for 'Business' and cannot see it mentioned that this feature is not available. So it may be a bug. Before reporting it, I thought it might be worth checking with other users. Best regards Chris
  3. Hi All, Surely I cannot be one of the few business users? We need more input from you if you have installed the business version. How is it going, what problems have you encountered, how are you using the software? And so on and so on. I'm poised and ready to listen! Regards Chris
  4. Maybe it is due to the fact that Evernote is still free for the basic account and the sharing functionality in the premium account got much better over the years. But IMHO you can get 90% of the functionality of the new Evernote business with a single premium account, if you store all your business related content within a premium account and share notebooks for collaboration as writeable with the personal accounts of your coworkers (whether they are on free or premium accounts is their personal decission). Doing the maths for a small company with 20 people would be $2200 per year for Evernote business vs. $50 per year for the current solution using one premium account. Unless you downgrade the current Evernote premium sharing functionality to broaden the gap to Evernote business, which I really hope you will not, I wonder, whether the additional comfort in administration of notebook sharing is really worth the additional $2150 per year. The additional traffic in the business accounts is a nice add-on, but I personally wouldn't want to pay for it, as I never exceeded my 1 GB/month limit, even not on the one premium account I scan all the paperwork of my company into. My personal feeling tells me, that a client within a business account should not cost more than an individual premium account but instead less. See it like a kind of volume discount. Instead the admin backend could be charged additionally and could cost a bit more than an individual premium account. So my suggestion for an attractive pricing schema would be more like this: Small Administration seat, max. 10 client accounts: $5/month Big Administration seat, unlimited client accounts: $20/month Client seat with 1GB/month data volume: $3/month Client seat with 2GB/month data volume: $6/month all prices for yearly payment cycles. I'll bet you will sell much more Evernote Business accounts with bigger overall revenue, than with your current plan. With the small Administration seat, this might be interesting as well for families, where your $10/month/client plan hardly is an option. But of cause, you are the ones, who make the prices, Pete

  6. Good morning everybody, jumped on the EN Business bandwagon with my 12 people team the day it went live. I have been a very big supporter of EN in my organization and as IT Manager I do have a lot of influence on what product the company should use, I have been in love with EN since I moved away from a more powerful but cumbersome DevonThink Pro but EN Business feels and act as an immature child not ready for prime time. I have place numerous tickets and gone through chats with tech support just to be informed that a lot of my problems are software related and the team is working on ironing the bugs out, so why introduce an half baked buggy software on the market targeting people that will use to be productive and conduct business? Am I the only one feeling this pain and over reacting? I do not see too much action out there on the EN business users community hopefully I am just an isolate case of disappointed customer. FC
  7. Will we ever be able to move notes between business/personal accounts via the web UI or iOS (or Android and other mobile platforms for that matter)?
  8. We are about to launch a Mobile App to facilitate expanded Evernote use in an industry that is VERY light on using Evernote at the moment -- Hospitality. Specifically, after using Evernote to monitor over 10,000 Maintenance Notes for a major branded hotel, we will be filling the need for a quicker entry method. (This "quick entry" with a razor-focus on the relevant data and content for the hospitality needs is key to Evernote's growth in this market.) Upon the Mobile App's launch, we aim to present the power of Evernote Hello and Evernote Food to a group of 30-50 hoteliers at a local Convention and Visitor's Bureau networking meeting. This Audio/Video presentation would focus solely on actual Evernote products with a finale introducing our expertise and our Mobile App availability for those that would like to investigate the possibilities of using Evernote for his/her hotel (in a more private setting). If you have any promotional materials, HD video content to incorporate into the presentation (especially for Food and Hello), or guidance/thoughts, we would welcome the input. The target audience will be comprised of General Managers and Sales Managers for major hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Westin, in an Ivy League, East Coast U.S. market.

I tried on 2 diffrent machines with same result. have been on the chat with support with no results, they tell me "it should work". I have attached screen clips for better understanding.   11. If you go to a notebook you have published in the library in your Admin console, you can add a description of the notebook up to 200 characters long. However, Evernote only shows roughly 77 characters, then an ellipsis. Makes the description kind of useless. The amount of text we are capped at using and the amount of text we can see should be the same thing.
  12. Has anyone else noticed that tags are not being autocomplted in the UI of the Windows version of Evernote? Makes it easy to create new tags (plural vs singular, misspelled, etc) This is with the latest pre-release version of Evernote 4.6.2.7910
  13. Frustrated Business user here. This is what I want to do but can't, 1. I want to be able to move “notebooks” from personal to business (not just notes that seems to of been the emphasis over last 2 months) and keep dates created/modified. 2. I want to be able to use the web clipper to put notes into EN Business notebooks (doesn’t seem to work for Business Notebooks) 3. I want to be able to add emails from outlook using the Addin (doesn’t seem to work for Business Notebooks) 4. I want to be able to use ENScript.exe to add notes and notebooks to a business folder. So close to being so good!
  14. Hi All, I thought I read something about moving notes in the 'Business' side working properly now. Just moved 551 notes in Windows application from one folder into a combined one and after syncing many times it is still not showing on the Web browser. Which means it is obviously not showing on any other platform. Any ideas if this is still a general problem before I report it? Regards Chris
  15. Is there yet a way to email directly to a notebook in Evernote Business, or is the only way to email to a user's personal account, then move to the business notebook?
  16. I process all of my notes through an @inbox notebook. When I am in one that is business related, I move it to my business notebook by selecting the notebook selector in the note. When I move it though, I an left in the dead note that was deleted in my personal account. I should be in the moved note. Right now the process is: Open note Move note Close now deleted note in personal account scroll to business notebook find moved note open note finish working with (tagging, editing, etc) It should be Open note Move note {evernote magic happens here} Finish working with (tagging, editing, etc)
  17. Hi All, Just discovered that when I move notes between 'Business' notebooks they arrive there, but once I sync they disappear off the software! However they are still on the Web and also still available with my 2nd user! This only happens with the 'Business' part of my database and not with my 'Personal' side. Currently using: Windows 7 Evernote 4.6.2.7880 Have reported it Heather, but thought I would pre warn any other business users to keep a look out. As I say the good news, is they are still there but not available where I want them. Best regards Chris
  18. Hi All, This is so frustrating! On the 2nd computer I have set up a tag called 'Ordered' so when the customer order comes in, we can tag the note that has our quotation. The tag does not go in the cloud, so each user has to create the tag at the moment. Having done this yesterday, by this morning the tag on both our users has gone! Aaargh! Come on Evernote you need to get your act together with these business tags and in fact all the problems on the business version. I am struggling to keep up with the problems and Evernote is there to save me time! Best regards Chris
  19. We just got started with EB in our small team of 4 people, but the company I work for has 6k employees... this is making me scratch my head about many things. I'll post about those later. Main question for now is, how can the Admin unpublish Business Notebooks from the Business Library if another user published it? The reason is that my small team thought it was a good idea to publish things that our whole team would like access to. Sounds great until you start thinking about another 100 people from my company getting on board one day with completely unrelated roles and now having access to possibly sensitive information. Long story short, I don't want to start using the Business Library now, if one day we have to go back and unpublish all of the Notebooks that only our small team should have access to. Can the admin do this or do we just need to ping people and train them when they publish something?
  20. Hi All, Found an odd little bug and wonder if anyone else is experiencing it. I cannot tell if it is only on Business or is a problem elsewhere. I have just started adding 'Tags' as they are now working fine on Business. So I have a new tag in my Personal section. I click on 'Personal', then click on the 'Tag'. Now, I cannot scroll down the list of 'Notes' as it keeps trying to go the top one. I cannot even select a 'Note' and use the down arrow as it doesn't work at all. Anyone suffering the same, before I raise a support ticket? Or have any ideas if there is a fix for this? Best regards Chris
  21. I've just started using Evernote and am trying to figure out some workflows. My main issue is these intensive weeks at work where every day is a 10h meeting on oracle structure etc, diving insanely deep into processes. What I did before Evernote was to just type everything in word, one doc per day. But this is really messy and hard to go through. How would you handle this in Evernote? One note per day or per topic or subtopic? The subtopics can be attached to several topics etc. Oh. And this is the first time in life ever taking notes during meetings. Scary
  22. Hi All, I have just tried to save an Outlook (2010) email to Evernote using the 'add in'. But it doesn't list any of my business 'Notebooks'. Is this a fault or by design? Best regards Chris

We have 1 user in our environment who is getting "Skipping note "title" in an unsynced notebook "title" His user settings match the rest of our 6 person team and each of us are syncing correctly. Any other users experiencing this problem? He has "modify" rights to the notebook as well. Support has said this is a "bug" and it will be put to the QA team lead she will then decide when to address this. Really?
  24. Hey Evernote Team, Soon we will have about 20 people participating in an Evernote Business Notebook. In order to stay up to date (without having to log in) is it possible to subscribe to an automated weekly digest with updates from a notebook? We are looking for a summary of updates. Currently we get too many individual emails which are hard to follow up as well A digest would be perfect! Many Thanks!
