  1. After updating Outlook, the EN icon as disappeared on my outlook. I can not use it to file and save emails. Does anyone have solutions for this?
  2. When emailing multiple notes, it no longer inserts the note title in between each note as it previously would.
  3. hello I have notes on my livescribe pen but no notes showing and I suspect its because I haven't received my verification email it asks for new users to verify......... is there a link for them to resend it?? I contacted them via email... still no response.. please help!
  4. I have invited a couple of friends and the email never arrived. It's not in the spam folder either. I thought that maybe it was because their email provider were gmail and outlook, and you didn't allow free providers, so I sent an invitation to myself to an email with a private domain, but it didn't arrive either. So, what's going on?
  5. I am (me) an Evernote user and me and my team use Asana for task management. I have team buy-in to Asana so I don't want to change. I would like to find a good Evernote to Asana integration, but I have found the two most popular--Cloudwork and Zapier--wanting. I can't get either to transfer attachments, and Cloudwork garbles text with comic strip vulgarity--many characters, "&" mostly, that I would rather not edit out. Zapier only gives me headers. I could have done the same thing and added attachments from Dropbox myself. I could also share via email and then forward to x@mail.asana.com but the back and forth is wasted time. It does, however provide the best quality. The reason Asana and Evernote don't play nice is shared Evernote notes come from no-reply@evernote.com. Standard email forwarding doesn't work because the originating email is still no-reply@evernote.com, not me@myemail blah-blah. The email appears to come from A (Evernote) to C (Asana), not from A to B (email client), then B to C. Lots of words to finally arrive at a question: Is there an email service that will receive no-reply@@evernote.com to blah, then forward from blah, to x@mail.asana.com? That way sharing a note from that email provider would generate a task in Asana. Thanks in advance
  6. Evernote appears to be having a problem tagging my e-mails. I often send e-mails to my evernote e-mail address in order to store contact information. When I forward the e-mail, I place tags in the subject line. For example, I often add the tags #contact #companyname #lastname. The e-mails all end up in my evernote account, but without tags. Or sometimes only a single tag will show up. I'm not attempting to send to a specific notebook using the @ mark. Is anyone else having this problem?
  7. For some unknown reason stacksocial email sent to me are persistently and mysteriously synched to my evernote account. As these tend to be graphics-heavy HTMLs my data is rapidly eaten up! I have NO memory of ever linking ANY emails with evernote for auto upload and didn't even know this was possible. Lo and behold, every email from stacksocial winds up in my evernote notebook and last month gobbled up all my meager data! So, I need to know how to stop this. It's driven' me nuts, I tells ya, nuts!
  8. I was using Evernote to write my posts and then upload them to my Blogger account sharing my Evernote note (Share/Email). So far it was working great and was a total blessing, but a couple of days ago it stopped working. Evernote shows the email was regularly sent (and I got a CC email on my email account, too) but it won't show up in my Blogger dashboard. Are there any known issues about it or can it be due to Blogger (I asked Blogger help desk, too, but so far no replies)? Thanks.
  9. Hi All, I am trying to forward an email to a particular notebook but finding it difficult to sync it correctly because the subject contains an exclamation mark (!) i.e. Fwd: Note to myself! @Personal The note keeps going into my default notebook which in my case is "Inbox" however I want it to go to "Personal". I understand the exclamation mark is used to setup reminders but is there any way to escape it. All help is appreciated. Many Thanks, Regards Rushan
  10. I create some documents in Evernote that I need to email to people in my organization. We have alias emails set up (e.g. systems@mycompany.com) which alleviate me from having to type in everybody's email address, however, Evernote apparently doesn't send when I use these. It says it does and if I CC myself I get it but no one else does. Any plans on supporting this?
  11. Hello, my wife went back to school and I started a premium account for her. She used it for months on her ipad and iphone and loved it. 2 weeks ago she got logged out of her ever-note on her iphone and tried to log back in. Unfortunately she messed up and created a new account instead. Though on her ipad she is still logged in with her premium account (I think we know the login name) but I cannot find the password. Using the reset password function is somehow not working because either: - we used a wrong email when starting the premium account or - by creating the new free account with different name but same email address it got somehow overwritten I cannot use the website for the premium support because I cannot login. Using the free account and sending a support request left me waiting for 2 weeks now without answer. I did sent another request out of the evernote app on the ipad (still logged in as premium) but havent heard anything yet. I also do not know if the support team will answer on the registered email, because then it wouldn't go into Nirvana when it was wrong in the first place. I am afraid logging out of the ever-note app to see her username, because then she will loose all access to her notes. So in short, how do I regain access to the premium account when email is not working? With a premium account I would assume there is a support hotline, but I cannot find any. Any idea how to go from here? Thanks Tom
  12. Is it possible to attach emails and emails with attachments to map?
  13. Whenever I send a note from my Evernote account to someone, a short text appears at the end asking the recipient to try Evernote. Is there any way to delete this or have it not appear in the emailed note?
  14. Hi I'm IT support, my user using your product sent confidential email thru Evernote EN servers, Is there a way to recall an email sent thru Evernote and Outlook/Excahnge?
  15. Hello, I would like to add new note through email. My note have a text and some pictures and the picture was sorted and order is very important. I send new note with some pictures and the order is lexical order by filename( xxx_p1.jpg, xxx_p2.jpg, xxx_p3.jpg, xxx_p4.jpg). I can create a new note with same pictures, but out of order. And the order is poorly understood. Because, these pictures order is this. xxx_p4.jpg, xxx_p1.jpg, xxx_p3.jpg, xxx_p2.jpg the other case (send yyy_p1.jpg, yyy_p2.jpg, yyy_p3.jpg, yyy_p4.jpg pictures) is that, yyy_p3.jpg, yyy_p4.jpg, yyy_p2.jpg, yyy_p1.jpg xxx_p4, yyy_p4, yyy_p1 is big picture, the other picture is smaller. So, first case is ( big, small, small, small ), second case is ( big, small, big, small ). (Big picture mean large canvas size and files size) It's beyond me. let me know how to create new note through email with correct order. Thank you for your help ( I check my sent mail's source, and I make sure of the all images was correct order in sent mail)
  16. I received a highly suspicious Phising email this morning. It claimed passwords needed to be reset. DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS IN THAT EMAIL! (If you fully read the email, you'll note that it was a direct copy from an existing Evernote email, where they specifically warn you to NEVER CLICK A LINK IN AN EMAIL. The attacker had then modified the email to insert links well above the warning that they didn't even read.) If you hover over a link you'll notice it redirects to a non-evernote web site. It then asks you to ENTER YOUR CURRENT PASSWORD. If you have entered your password, you should consider yourself compromised. Had this been a serious alert from Evernote, you would have been instructed to visit Evernote from your Bookmarks, or enter it directly. At that point you should have seen a link to reset your password via email. Remember people, NEVER BLINDLY TRUST AN EMAIL. They are easily forged and companies already have established policies to verify your identity through established email accounts. You may wish to reset your password immediately, especially if you have clicked a link in the aforementioned email.
  17. Hi, Since the DDoS I have been unable to email into Evernote. My email provider insists my mail server is not blacklisted, and says the emails are queued at Evernote. Evernote support initially agreed then came back and said that the email server had 'reputation problems' but have not explained what that means. Now they won't even reply to my ticket. (#566359) I am at a loss now. This problem started on the same day of the DDoS. I am stuck without being able to email in - its an essential part of my workflow. I've been an early adopter of Evernote and enthusiastic advocate, and also with my email provider for many years and not had this problem before, nor do I have problems sending emails to anyone else. Anyone else having this issue still? Anyone have any suggestions of what I can do, or who I can contact? Thanks Graham
  18. so i just recieved an email from evernote telling about the forum being hacked, i read it and since it says the forum account is separated from the notes keeping service, my notes should be fine, so i didn't bother it too much and then i realised something wrong evernote is sending the email to my gmail account, and my evernote account is only connected to my yahoo mail account and was never connected to my google account in any way, how does evernote know my gmail account and send email there ? i 'm pretty sure the email come from evernote itself and not phising (i compared it with other email i recieved in my yahoo mail, the sender and everything are exact same), but just in case, how can i contact evernote team so i can show them the email and verify if it's really from them ? and by the way this is the first time i activated the forum account so an email notifiying about hacked forum account which didn't exist is actually a little weird to me
  19. I just saw this link in Dan Wilson's signature about using Siri to send a note to Evernote: That's a clever solution. However, have you tried using Siri to just send an email to your Evernote account? I find this works really great, and only requires that you setup an iPhone/iPad contact for your Evernote account. You just tell Siri "Send email to <Evernote Contact>" She then prompts you first for Subject, then for email body, and finally shows you the email and asks if you're ready to send.
  20. Hi, I use Evernote at work and at home and I pay for the premium subscription myself, so my Evernote account is set up with my personal email. However, when I share notes it is generally for work and with work colleagues. Is it possible to have my account set up so that the "from" email when I send a note to someone is my work email while the email used to administer my account is my personal email. Even better (and this is probably a feature request) I'd like to be able to have multiple emails associated with my account and have a chance to choose which one is the "from" email when I share a note through email. Thanks, Todd
  21. Hi - I'm all of a sudden getting this error message when trying to send from an iPad to Evernote: "Cannot Send Mail. A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient "xxx@m.evernote.com" was rejected by the server." I have no trouble sending from Outlook on my PC, or sending to other email addresses from my iPad. Any advice here? Thanks.
  22. As a new user with a large amount of existing notes and documents that I like to get into Evernote, well...yesterday, I am wondering if there is a way to get an "initial data load" waiver for a price from Evernote? I'm importing documents a few at a time, but my email imports lend themselves to being done in bulk, hundreds at a time. I added and run a rule to my Mac OS X mail program to forward and delete email receipts for things i've ordered online over the years. It hit my email forwarding limit in almost no time at all. Where I work, when a new data processing job is added, there is a usually a special "initial data load" event where data send to use from the previous data processor is loaded into our system. Since it's so much larger and normal data processing loads, special precautions are taken to make sure that it goes smoothly as the storage, time, memory ,and CPU loads are way above the norm. If nothing else, it would be great for new users if you could purchase a one-time use bulk data load waiver to get started with Evernote. As it is, I'll have write up complicate rules to divide imports into small chunks, and safeguard againt emails being deleted before I can confirm that they were imported into Evernote.
  23. New Evernote User here. I just starting running my companies Dev list out of evernote and do a lot of tagging to keep everything organized. I assign development tasks by emailing notes to my developers. When I click Share by Email I enter their names and send email. I have to re-type full email addresses every single time we do this. There doesn't seem to be any storing of these emails or contacts in any way. I hate having to type in full emails each time. Is there something I'm missing? Any way to avoid having to do this? Thanks!
  24. I'm trying to find out why I keep losing the original formatting when I send via email. I create a note and then click share/send by email. But when the email arrives to its destination, the note looks nothing like it did when I created it. For example, I may create the note with a 12 pt font and it arrives in email in a 7 pt font, bolding is gone, etc. Any idea what I am doing wrong? or is that common for Evernote? Fairly new to Evernote, so i need some help.
  25. Minor Bug: Sending an E-Mail message to one's Evernote account without a target subject does NOT send it to the default notebook. You have to search for it.
