  1. Is it possible to add tags to your image/note while using the document camera in iOS? It would be nice to add a few tags, title and specify a notebook when taking the photo rather than having to take the photo, go to inbox, click on note, click on info button, add tags, click done, click the inbox button, select folder. I use Genius Scan for this but would like to have a one app solution. Also, Genius Scan's add tags functionality is less than desirable. One big long list of tags rather than Evernote's elegant search while you type feature of adding tags. Thanks!
  2. I am using Evernote on my Android and MacBook. I like the camera feature but I can't seem to do anything with the photo. On Mac, the image is dead, can't select it or anything. The only thing I can do is move the cursor one character past and hit delete to remove it. On Android it is smarter but more evil. Clicking the image allows me to open an editor and crop it, and even save the modified image back to Evernote. But not to the same note! But only can't seem to figure out how to edit the image and leave it in the same note! So I am sure there's some way to do this, but I can use some guidance for how!
  3. If this has been answered 50 times already, I apologize for the repeat and just point me in the right direction. I have Evernote on my Droid Razr M. If I go to add a note by taking a picture, there's no way to "back out". In other words, I have to take the picture, then delete the note. I can't just decide, "Oops...don't want to take a picture after all." and back up. Or am I missing something. In fact, just then, when I was trying to replicate all this, it actually got stuck in "camera mode" and wouldn't let me back up OR take a picture.I've had to turn my phone off altogether and start over. Same thing with my ASUS Memo tablet, BTW. No way to "back out" other than to take the photo and delete the note. Rick Bohan
  4. Hi, I noticed that when I create a new photo-note using the camera, picture is stored in Android's internal storage. Then, picture is shown in my Gallery, Photos, Synced with Google Photos, etc. I also noticed that this picture is not actually necessary to exist as it is saved within the note itself and synced with Evernote servers. So, what I do is create a picture note, then go to Google Photos to delete that photo. Is this what am I supposed to do? Can you please remove or give the option to remove this feature? Thanks, Chris
  5. I'm getting the following error when I try to capture a picture using Evernote on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. "This device does not support the Evernote Camera" Why can't Evernote just save a simple picture? Any plans for a patch? Thanks!
  6. When I pressed the camera button, it shows "Could not connect to camera. Please make sure it is enabled in Setting > General > Restrictions" But I'm sure I turned the "Restrictions" off. The Camera works good in other apps, evernote hello as well. So anyone can help me? Thanks a lot. Camera is really important to Evernote iOS.
  7. Can't capture moleskin pages in iOS7 update. Slider in camera tool not working. Help.
  8. I'm really confused about using the camera in the iOS7 app. When you hit the camera button, about 1/4 of the camera's view is obscured by the camera controls meaning you never really know exaclty what's going to be in your photo as you can only frame the left-hand 3/4 of the image. Am I missing something here or doing something wrong? This just seems proposterous...... and yet everything else is so well designed... Page Camera - Not working at all? I also see the word 'document' off to the right hand side, as if I'm supposed to swipe over to turn on the document imager but no amount of swiping or tapping actually gets anything to happen and only the work 'photo' stays illuminated.
  9. Some iPhone camera apps, have an image stabilization feature option. The camera waits to take the pic until it gets a solid, clear photo. Since readability is so important for document-photos, this would be a VERY helpful feature. Though this would be a great feature for both photo and document photos, it's even more important for the document one (IMHO).
  10. I know there is an option to adjust this in the cameras settings but that doesnt change anything.. had this problem in another camera app, too, so its obviously my phone what bugs around My phone: Samsung XCover S5690 with 2.3.6 Gingerbread Has anyone got a tip how to fix this?
  11. I have a brand new MBP retina 13in. Verified that camera works w facetime and photobooth. Cannot use snapshot feature because evernote says it cannot find a webcam. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Help much appreciated!
  12. Hello I hope this is the right category for my question. I am a teacher and until now I still use my paper based teachers calendar. I think it is cool to take a picture of something handwritten to upload it to Evernote. But I am not sure if there is a possibility, to edit a handwritten note in the same way. For example I have a page with a table of notes, my students got within the last month. I take a picture and Evernote recognizes this table and integrates it with the already existing table which I uploaded a month ago, or which I created using Excel. Is this possible with my smartphone camera? Or maybe with the livescribe Smartpen? This device should recognize the paper as the same one I wrote on before...!? thank you :-)
  13. I have got a problem with the snapshot feature on my samsung gt-s5660. The picture on the display is turned by 90°. That is before i take a picture. so it is displayed wrong. With the calibration feature i can set everything up so the final picture is turned in the right direction. but the display when taking a picture is still turned by 90°. Has anybody experienced this problem before. Solution?
  14. Nothing against the Moleskine notebooks, but until Evernote fixes the problem with their custom camera app, there's no value added here. Their camera app not only produces soft (less than sharp) images but also compresses files to the point that they cannot be considered printer/scanner quality. For now, you'll find much better value in using whatever notebook you want and using an app like JotNot Pro (iOS). If you place your notebook on a dark background (as recommended by Evernote for the Moleskine notebooks) JotNot will crop right to the edge and the image will be sharp.
  15. I love the fact that you can shoot multiple pages. Although some pages are distorted in a bit of a strange way, it is pretty convenient. I need a way to actually see the sharpness of the images after I shoot them and before I confirm that they're good (with an ability to zoom in). I know you can enter the viewing mode and see all of your pages- but that view is totally pixelated and there is not way to determine if the image is readable. I would also like to have a convenient way of reordering these pages (currently only available on desktop in a really old fashioned way) and reshooting them (as opposed to deleting and shooting a new page) if they I didn't get the shot right.
