  1. I have a Evernote Business account and I try to use it on my iPhone (iOS 10.1.2) with the last version of Evernote. All is working well unless the web clipper (used with Safari). The first time I used it, it was good. However, the second time, I cannot change the notebook anymore: when I click on the button in order to change the notebook, the Evernote Web Clipper extension breaks down. If I reinstall the app, it is the same: it works the first time only. I have also tried with another account (personal and not business) and it works without any trouble. The Business account has 23 notebooks and 460 notes and the clipping is working on other mobile devices like Android. What can I do ?
  2. Hello, I would like to see the ability to subscribe to notebooks published by a business organization returned to Evernote for iOS. This was an essential feature for our organization, and the recent discovery that the ability to join published notebooks has been removed from iOS and must now be done on a computer (not available) or online (EN web not supported for iOS) has had a major impact on our teachers. I hope this feature is set to make a triumphant return soon.
  3. I'paid for premium upgrade a coupple of months ago. Everything was working fine till yesterday, when i've changed my phone, ( from iphone 6 to 7+) and now i have on my new phone only basic, so i cannot acces all my notes, and it's asking me all the time to pay to go premium. My question is how i can get premium on my new phone, because it's already been paid.
  4. I'm getting emails from evernote one very minute.. like this different user every time... you have a leaking data problem. I couldn't raise a ticket, you've made it impossible to do. Hello Evernote User. You recently attempted to send an email message from your Evernote account. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver the email to your intended recipient(s). The email was returned to us as undeliverable and no further delivery attempts are possible. Please verify the email address(es) you used. Some ideas: Check for typos Check for extra spaces Details on the undeliverable email message: Subject: Hi Anto Marley Recipient(s): antonstrain@live.co.uk Thank you, - The Evernote Team
  5. I just saw this implemented in Dropbox paper and I thought Evernote could copy and improve how they assign tasks for team members. Basically you can write someone's username like we do here in the forum: @Eduardo There could be a combination of the todo checkbox + username. [ ] @Eduardo please take a look at this task [ ] @amanda_h please implement this feature Then there could be a filter: todo:false username:eduardo This is possible to implement today using tags. Just that the username within the note would make it easier to emphasize where in the note that someone needs to focus/attention at.
  6. is there any solution to generate a list of used notebooks/tags in EN business
  7. Is it possible to make groups of users in Evernote Business? I know it's possible to share information with individuals or with the entire business, but I would like to share information with groups of co-workers. Group certain users together and share information with that group, instead of having to type each individual's name/email over and over again to share each individual note or notebook. For instance group people into departments within the company or into people within a certain project. Also, if someone switches from department or joins a projects it would be way easier to just add or remove someone from that group instead of having to go through each individual note/notebook etc etc. Is it possible to group users? And if so, how?
  8. Hi! First of all many thanks for Evernote Business, a great product making my life easier. I frequently switch between my personal notebooks and my business notebooks. Sometimes I get lost and look for a notebook, note or saved search in the wrong section. You already introduced the Light and Dark view for the sidebar. It would be terrific, if I could choose one for the sidebar of my personal account and the other for the sidebar of my business accont.
  9. I upgraded my Mac to MacOS 10.12.4 beta this morning and Evernote died.....when and where can I get a patch. I am not looking to take notes on my phone.... Please fix...quick
  10. Hey, I have been using evernote as a project management tool and archive for my company for about 5 years now and have now switched over to the business edition. The problem i am having is that while converting over my personal notebooks (in which i have hundreds) to business notebooks all of the memory on my computer is being eaten up. Since the notebook on the personal evernote gets deleted shouldn't creating the business notebook have no effect on the memory. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
  11. What has happened to evernote with in the last 6 months? I used to use this program frequently, but now that it moves in slow motion I now will have to find another program!l
  12. Can you share a Stack in Evernote Business? Example - If I have a Stack with 20 Notebooks in it, I would not have to email all of the participants for each individual Notebook would I?
  13. Here is our setup (we all use evernote on our MAC): My boss has a business account My account and all the other accounts are just free accounts My boss has created multiple business notebooks and shared them via email (workchat?) with us (highest permission) He, and also we create notes in that notebooks When I want to move a note from one notebook he created to another notebook he created, two things can happen: nothing – literally nothing happens and the note just stays where it is I get the information that some of the selected notes are not part of my notebooks – I agree to move them anyway The note gets moved to the selected notebook The note disappears from that notebook and appears in my default notebook I get a little red bubble on my sync icon If i want to delete a note from a notebook then it disappears but reappears after a short time So we also tried if this whole setup also happens if I invite him to a normal notebook I created. He also cannot move notes between my notebook eventhough I gave him the highest permission. What can we do?
  14. Hello I have used Evernote for a while now. The latest update totally stopped it from loading again. Is there a due date for the next release to fix this issue? Just in case you ask. Reboot and all usual steps done. Thanks G Evans
  15. I'm not certain where the appropriate place to post this would be, and I can't seem to find a contact email or support request form. I work for a large organization that currently uses other note taking software. Personally I find that software to be cumbersome to work with, and problematic in our current use. I've used Evernote in the past on a personal level and find it to be far more user friendly, so I'm hoping to give it a trial run here at work. However there are elements of the basic software that make it difficult to utilize in a project environment. I'd like to try out the business version, but I can't find enough information about it to understand if it will meet the requirements we'd have here. Here's the basics of what I'm looking to do. Perhaps someone with experience could reply and let me know if these things are possible with Evernote for business. 1. Each person works on multiple projects at a time. The idea would be to title each "Notebook" with the name of the project, and capture and track meeting minutes, project planning notes, as well as key pieces of technical information within each notebook. However each notebook would have to be saved within the folder structure of its respective project, and updated regularly from there. A centralized local drive for all notebooks would not be feasible. 2. As mentioned, I work for a large organization (~12,000 employees). Project data is often highly confidential. The idea of - cloud based - information being housed outside of the company's network, will likely be rejected. Regardless of which security protocols you use. At the very least, it's something that would have to be discussed at a high level, and not something smaller business units could implement arbitrarily. Is it possible to have Evernote for business default to being an offline tool only? 3. Is it possible to "saveas" or export to a format that can be opened by standard office software (i.e. Word or even .pdf), while still maintaining information within the notebook in an intelligible format? We store information for long periods of time. Reliable, long term accessibility needs to be considered. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
  16. Since Evernote already sort stacks, notebooks and notes, seems to follow we should be able to sort inside of a note. We currently use Evernote for almost everything concerning our business. Seems counterintuitive to have to go out of Evernote for a simple list sort. Hope you can bring this on soon. Rick
  17. Hi! First of all many thanks for a great product and making my life easier. Both in my personal and my professional notebooks I heavily use links to other notes. Sometimes I link from a personal note to a business note (and in rare cases vice versa). I think it would be great, if these links would be formatted in two different colors, one color for links to a business note, another for links to a personal note.
  18. Work Chat seems like it has tons of potential, but is limited because conversation threads are connected to individuals rather than Notebooks/Notes. For example, if I wanted to message a colleague about two different projects we're working on together those conversations would be joined together, rather than remaining separate but attached to the project notebook or individual note. In practice, what it's forcing me to do is incorporate Slack or MS Teams in addition to Evernote, when ideally I'd like to use one tool for this purpose. Any thoughts on this being expanded to include more than, essentially, DMs?
  19. Hello there As I started working at a new firm yesterday, they invited me to their Evernote business account. When when I click the invitation I am asked for my account credentials and full name. However, when I click on the become a member button I am redirected to the following page https://www.evernote.com/WEB-INF/jsp/redesign/global//layout.jsp which says Page not found The location you provided is not valid. (/WEB-INF/jsp/redesign/global//layout.jsp) Because of this I am unable to join my company's account. Kind regards
  20. Good morning fellow Evernote users, I was wondering does anyone use Evernote as their lead tracking and follow-up system. A very light CRM? Recently I have been looking at different cloud type CRM systems, Salesforce, Infusionsoft, ACT....etc the list goes on and on. I was wondering 1) Have you tried to use Evernote as a CRM for lead tracking and follow-ups? If so what is your workflow 2) If you don't, what system do you personally use. I know Evernote has partnered up with Salesforce, but I would like to hear what you use. I look forward to learning from you.
  21. Some converted notebooks are read only on Windows Application after latest update but working well on web application (evernote.com) and Ipad application. Is this a common issue for someone else? Can we get a fix for this bug please?
  22. Coming from a windows networking world, I thought that in Evernote, I'd simply be able to create a notebook\sub-notebook structure, give people permissions and this would replicate to the others users on our team. Not the case.....It appears that once you create a notebook, you have to go through several steps in order for the other users to be able to see the notebook in there tree. I've used Evernote personally and have loved it, but the option for sharing information isn't very user friendly. Am I missing something? In our case, each of the team (there's 6 of us) has a product(s) that we're the lead on, so we'll have a variety of information like tech notes or procedures that we'd like to be able to share with the rest of the folks. Is there a recommended or better way to share this data? Thanks, Chris
  23. As context, I got Evernote free on my Note 3 some time back, only started using it recently on a serious basis (was using other product). However I find I am unable to get my basic account information. Have my email id but it all leads to dead-ends. First thing I want to know is my entire account information As a second step, I also want to sync with Android notes with my laptop. But when I tried to ldo this, laptop software does not recognise my Notes in my Android device. Tried to log a support ticket, it says it will send an email however the promised email did not come through Its a complete mess.. and so am on the verge of giving up and just using something like Memo or Window OneNote. Just thought would give it one final try to see if I can get help Let me know if you can help, you really should publish something about how you arrange account information and also sync Regards Ash (ash.athawale@gmail.com)
  24. Is there a way to turn off the "Allow Evernote to use my data to improve my experience" for all users in my enterprise account or will each person have to manually turn it off.
  25. Premium user here. I'm having a problem (unrelated to this), and I'm trying to contact support. But that's causing a new problem: it's impossible to contact support because the Evernote website keeps presenting me with a bug each time I attempt to load the contact form, and the bug causes an infinite look asking me to sign in, then appearing again. The error message says, "Unexpected error. Our server has experienced difficulties processing your request (/SupportLogin.action). You may need to sign into your account to access this page." The problem is: it says this even when I'm signed in. Then, if I follow the "sign in" link and try to submit another request, it says the same thing. On and on infinitely. So as of right now there's no way for me to contact support from the Evernote website, and there's no email address listed anywhere. What's the deal? See attached for error message.
