I have Evernote Premium and wanted to try out the business card features. I am at a work related conference and so far, it is not working as well as I'd like. I have an Android phone and Evernote for Windows, version 5.8.5.7193. I hope someone can help with that. I collect business cards and make handwritten notes on the back side about the person. When I tried scanning them with my Android, I saw how it extracts out the information. It is too hard to add notes via an Android (my handwritten notes). In the Windows version, the note was locked and I couldn't manually add the information there. I also tried scanning the back side of the card and merging it. While it looked OK on the Windows screen, on the Android app, the image of the backside is on top of the the image of the front side. Any ways to fix this? What I had done in the past, prior to Premium, is I used my ScanSnap to scan each card double sided, as a JPG, and then just merged each person's front side and back side. Also, I thought that when you add a contact, it will try to connect with them on Linkedin. How do I do that?

A few days ago I was able to scan a business card into Evernote through the Evernote app. Now it doesn't seem to be an option. What happened to that function? And why can't I find the LinkedIn functionality that used to be there?

I was on here a couple of months ago because I had spent $1000 between Evernote Business accounts and a Evernote scanner. 2 MONTHS ON THEY STILL DON'T WORK. I live in the UK so between the time zone difference and non responsive support, I have traded, on average ONE email EVERY TWO DAYS with "support". By the way, I still can't turn on Linkedin integration or it crashes my machine!!!!!! I collect a lot of business cards and bought the scanner for the main purpose of the fraudulently sold integration of Linkedin. I also expected that after spending so much of my hard earned cash with these clowns, I would get $1000 worth of service. I haven't. My 2 month odyssey ended with TERRY O sending me a WORK AROUND, which was basically don't use the business card function and store all BUSINESS CARDS IN A PERSONAL ACCOUNT!!! You have to understand that for over a month so that I could scan stuff, they had me using an alternate account, which I transferred all the notes from the other day. Well, all my notes came in but were NOT in notebooks so I SPENT A DAY MOVING THEM AND CREATING NEW NOTEBOOKS IN MY OLD ACCOUNT. I have reinstalled snapscan and evernote dozens of time, and as of TODAY I still can't turn on Linkedin integration!!!!! SUPPORT IS NONEXISTANT, PRICES ARE EXTREME FOR WHAT YOU GET, DO NOT START USING THIS SYSTEM FOR YOUR BUSINESS UN;ESS YOU WANT TO PAY TO BE A BETA TESTER.

Does anyone know when Evernote is going to make business card capture functionality available with Android phones? I want to go to Premium but there is no way I'm doing that without that function. Don't they understand that there as many or more android phones being used than iPhones?! Rather short sighted to my way of thinking. Must be a bunch of Apple fan boys making the decisions...

When I scan business cards on ScanSnap, 50% of the time ti works fine, but the other 50% of the time the scanned card is "locked" and I get "This note was created in another application. To edit this note, open in the app it was created ." message. How can I remove this lock? Thank you very much for your help!!

Just downloaded OS X Yosemite and it's got me thinking all kinds of futuristic stuff... In the name of evernote replacing email, here's a proposal: Give users the ability to add their personal Evernote WORK CHAT info on their business cards in the form of a small evernote logo (just like the one on your cell phone). Then, they could remove their email address from their business cards. Here's a way evernote might achieve this: Strike a co-branding deal w/ moo.com or another modernly relevant biz card company and give users the ability to add evernote's green elephant icon to their business card orders. Encrypted within the green elephant logo will be your evernote details ... so when another person you give your biz card to uses their evernote camera to snap a pic of your biz card, your evernote details are captured in their account and in turn, you are automatically added to their WORK CHAT friends list. Then, they can send you documents via work chat or request documents from you. This is absolutely something I'd use. Thoughts are welcome.

I've been recently trying to figure out a way to seemlessly scan business cards using my Evernote account (which doubles for personal and work-related notes, but business cards are almost always work-related), and transfer that contact information into my work Outlook address book. Probably the simplest way to do this is to sync my phone address book to Outlook, have this address book as my default address book (where new contacts are stored), and saving business card contact info would go straight to Outlook. However, I'd rather not change my default address book from Gmail and have every personal contact information on my company server. It would be great if when you hit "Save to Address Book" Evernote prompted you for which address book you wanted to do add the contact (or let you establish in-App global settings that changed the iPhone default setting. It would create a seemless way to upload business cards into different address books (in the same way that Evernote uses Notebooks).

I have been taking pictures of business cards and putting them into Evernote for quite a while now. I just found the ability to have Evernote take a picture, create a contact note, and OCR it into (what it thinks are the) correct fields. Great! Now, is there any way to take the 100+ notes with pictures of cards and turn them into contact notes? I guess I could print them out and then take pictures of the printed cards, but I was hoping for something greener. Any suggestions?

Scanned 50 business cards at a conference
Justin Gordon posted a topic in General Discussion Archive
I scanned about 50 business cards at a conference. They are scanned into a PDF in Evernote. What is the easiest way to convert this to a list of emails. Aside from that, what's the easiest way to convert the PDF to plain text and I'll write a program to pull the emails out. -
I have 1000s of scanned business cards in Cam Card. I would like to individually input those into Evernote. What are my options to increase efficiency of this process. I tried emailing/exporting them out of Cam Card to my Evernote address but I don't get the actual picture of the card just the info. Any help would be appreciated. DW

I love everything that Evernote does. Can't complain. Only I wish it had "rolodex" feature. Just like a Contact list or Business Card list. Importing contact list from Google or Hotmail or Palm desktop would be fantastic.

How do I go about turning off the flash that occurs when taking iSight Note photos? Business cards are coming out all washed out, can't read the text.
