  1. When I scan a business card into Scannable it correctly identifies the address field & displays it in Scannable. However when I save to my iPhone 5s contacts the address field is not there. I am logged into LinkedIn during the scan and the scan also produces a LinkedIn URL but that is also missing when the contact is saved. The address field is missing in the final saved contact regardless if I am logged into LinkedIn or not. Any ideas why this is happening?
  2. Apparently Evernote has made some changes. I recently "upgraded" to Plus in order to continue scanning business cards. However, after three cards, I am given the message to upgrade to premium. What level allows business card sanning? (I don't have thousands, but a months worth - perhaps 20).
  3. So today I finally got to use the new feature, well new if you're an Android user! Had to do a manual update for some reason but the business cards are there hidden under camera option :-) Just a couple of questions ... 1. Can you set the notebook you want the cards to be stored into by default ? 2. Does it capture the website/twitter/facebook? It appears not to on my sample cards? 3. Can it not put all the other data from the card it can't place in a field into notes, at least then fixing any mis-determined fields is just a cut and paste rather than re-key? 4. Any chance of adding double sided, or better multi shot cards, I have some which are 4 sides (fold on short edge to make a long card - hard to scan in one pass) and anoth with 2 columns and it fails as a single pass, but two separate pictures and it gets the data, just into 2 records! 5. Is there any simple way to export the cards to CSV or some other basic data structure for taking to our SugarCRM/SuiteCRM system? Sorry for the Cross post as this also got tacked on to the end of a completely unrelated post, so rather than get lost I have created a new post! (Sorry if this is wrong). thanks
  4. Well, the process is simple: you meet a person, exchange business cards, and days or weeks later if there is interest, you connect to each other in LinkedIn. In the meantime, you have scanned already the business card, and there is no option to sync the scanned card with the contact in LinkedIn. Today this only happens when at the scanning process. So, simple question: could we have the syncing option with a button on top of the scanned card?
  5. (I meant "business card reader on the topic, but can't edit it now nor delete and re-post, if there's any admin reading this, please help Sorry for the mistake) Hello there, on IOS client (currently running 7.5.311939-5977e21 - Beta) when I try to scan a business card that has a group email (ie. bakers@bakeryplus.com) Evernote fetches what seems to be the most likely Linkedin match, which however might not be the one on the biz card (it seems email overpasses name check) so I ended up scanning 3 biz cards from the same group (and same group mail on all cards) and Evernote understood it as the same person. Currently I see no way of fixing or working around that, as in turning off Linkedin sync on-the-fly and back on for the next biz card. Is this working as design? Can we improve? Anyone experienced this already?
  6. Hi there! It seems that unlike other types of notes, Evernote wont let me change the "Date Created" field for Scanned Business Cards? Is there a reason for this? I'd like to change this filed to reflect the date that I had a meeting and received the card so it appears chronologically... otherwise if I wait two days to scan the business card I will have a date which is not truly relevant (the date I meet someone is more important then the date i had the time to scan the card). Clearly one solution would be to always scan cards the day I meet someone but in a large conference where I can get lots of cards that not always possible. Thanks for the help!! Paulo
  7. Evernote is a great product that only gets better with time. The more notes you have in Evernote and the more you use Evernote at work the greater the benefits you will get. This forum probably already knows that. Evernote is an integral part of my work and a very essential tool that helps me manage my team and work. I recently wrote an article on my blog about 5 tips I have on using Evernote at work. In short, the 5 tips are: Share Evernote Notebooks (Premium Feature) Run 1:1 Meetings Using Reminders Create a Separate Notebook for Each Team Evernote at Work – Create Notes for Projects Scan Business Cards with Evernote (Premium)See my blog for details and please let me know your thoughts!
