  1. The ability to create new notebooks (with names, obviously) is essential for adding new entries on the fly (that don't fit into existing notebooks) so I don't have to add organization time later on my desktop. If it's already possible to do this, pls let me know. I haven't found a way. Thanks!
  2. Hi all, I have a Motorola Droid and was looking in the Android app market for Evernote and came up empty. I see there is an evernote app for Android. Is it not supported for 2.0 yet? What am I missing? Thanks for the help.
  3. Hi Gotta say am really impressed with the dev cycle of this app. You guys churning out releases making it better each time. Very impressive. I think I've found a wee bug with Ink Notes. Looks like the same bug in 1.1B10 & 1.1B11. 1. Created an ink note on the windows evernote client. 2. Sync note 3. Retrieve "Recent notes" on the android client. 4. Can see thumbnail on the ink note created in 1 5. Select thumbnail, get a screen with a "Download ink" hyperlink 6. open link & get an error "No activity found to handle event {act=android.intent.action.VIEW ........" etc etc Maybe someone else can try to see if its a repeatable error, & not something specific to my environment. cheers Daryn
  4. I can't find a way to rotate image of snapshots taken on the Droid2, then opened on my desktop. Please enable this very useful and numerously requested feature. Thank you!
  5. If you select Show Full Size from Menu and then attempt to go back using Menu>Scaled, it does not return to scaled size. Eric
  6. Hey folks - We've pushed out a quick update to Evernote for Android v. 1.1B11. This version behaves better when you log in and log out, erasing all locally stored data. It also fixes a bug when editing a note.
  7. Hey folks - We're got a quick update to Evernote 1.1Beta. Improvements include: [*:r7jjsglx] Configurable image size when taking Snapshot notes [*:r7jjsglx] Improved note list performance
  8. Hey folks - We've just published an auto-update for Evernote for Android. This version includes: [*:9i5krcd6]Access to the source URL of clipped pages [*:9i5krcd6]Initially scaling images so large images can be viewed completely [*:9i5krcd6]Fixes for Droid including better placement of the on-screen keyboard and more stable snapshot code You can download it now at: http://s.evernote.com/androidbeta
  9. In one of my notes I tried to include some URIs to applications I'd like to remember to try out or download at a later date. Those URIs are typically encoded with QR codes, for example: RTM Mobile When scanned on the device, it returns market://search?q=pname:com.rememberthemilk.MobileRTM which takes you directly to the app in the Android Market. When viewing the note on my Android device, I realized that URIs in the form market://search?q=pname:com.rememberthemilk.MobileRTM are not linkified. http:// URIs are working as expected, and open the browser when pressed. This would be a terrific addition to an otherwise great app. Keep it up!
  10. Was working fine. Added 2 notes this morning. Now the first one shows up twice and the second one doesn't show. Attempting to view any note results in a force close. So does trying to see the "about" info. Data is good cuz it's ok online and with the iPod, so it's an Android issue. Thanks for any help. Jim Ujcik
  11. On the Android, I am entering the e-mail as the login form says and I have tried both the password for my evernote account and for my gmail account, and it just sorta stares at me. By the way, the form says PixelPipe. No one else seems to be complaining. I'm wondering whether I should uninstall and start over - reinstall. Also, have I messed up by going through the android Market? I did that AND through the weblink.
  12. I'm so excited to find there is an evernote Droid app. I have been trying since day one to find a good note app and haven't been happy with anything else I've found until now. It took me a moment to figure out that I could hit Search with an empty term and get the list of all my notes. But what I really need is to be able to select from a list of notebooks and see only the notes in one notebook. I have too many notes (even just from importing google notebook, not to mention years of accumulated notes that I'm working to import in) to always see the entire list. (I can't even search for the notebook name it seems). Thanks!! Lisa
  13. Just downloaded 1.1B8 and it seems to work perfectly. I will do some more testing today... great work!! Snapshot - works great Upload file - works great text note - works great audio note - works great, good quality all menu options also work great... I am using the HTC Magic.
  14. Hey folks - We just got our Droid in the office and had a few minutes to do some on-device debugging. With the latest update you should be able to create a snapshot note. We're still working in the issues with on-screen keyboard. More updates are coming soon. Have a good weekend!
  15. So I just downloaded 1.1B5. First note is I had to uninstall 1.1B2, it would not replace it. Once I uninstalled 1.1B2, installing 1.1B5 went fine. What I use Evernote most for on my mobile is Snapshot notes. So here's the play by play on my DROID: 1. Open app. 2. Tap "Snapshot." 3. Camera starts (but still looks like the "old" Android camera app, not the 2.0/DROID one). 4. Tapping on the little camera icon on the screen seems to take a pic (the pic shows on screen) but nothing else happens. Except for the times when my device randomly started playing music. So we have two branches here: a. Started playing music. Pressing the back button resulted in me going directly to the home screen. I had to go to the notification bar to stop the music from inside TuneWiki. b. Nothing happened. Pressing back took me to the Evernote home screen. 5. Using the camera button results in the same behavior (which is better than 1.1B2, where it did nothing). Are other DROID users having the same issues?
  16. I've imported a lot of notes from Google Notebook, and they all have the URL in the "source URL" field. When viewing on the Droid, there seems to be no way to access the URL. I would expect to see it in the note or at least in note info, in clickable form. Maybe I'm missing something? Lisa
  17. I would like to be able to sort my notes alphabetically at times. Is this possible? If not consider it a feature request for future...Thanks!
  18. I deleted a note in 1.1B6 and the app force-closed. Details: Rogers HTC Magic (32A) running 1.6 Donut. The deleted note had a ~150kb .apk file attached to it. I have 882 notes in my Premium account.
  19. well I downloaded evernote for android today and had to check it all out immediately. Looks good, one minor problem, when I went to the file upload area it gave me off black text on black background, imposable to see, you can see it when you touch the screen. then hardware is Moto Droid. thanx M
  20. Hey folks - We've updated Evernote for Android with a few new features. Evernote for Android version 1.1B2 includes: [*:2x6140ln] Access to execute Saved Searches [*:2x6140ln] Access to detailed note info [*:2x6140ln] The ability to email notes The latest beta version can be download from: http://s.evernote.com/androidbeta
  21. Not sure if this is a known but just wanted to get it out there. Upon the initial sign on for the application the onscreen keyboard covers the text entry field for the USER ID.
  22. 1.1B2 - after recording an audio note and saving, i access "recent notes" from main menu. I select the audio note, then select the attachment representation. the audio note never opens/plays.
  23. If there is a link in the note when you follow the link the whole page opens in the programm. In my opinion it will be more reasonable if the original system browser will be used for this. Do you agree with me?
  24. I often have thoughts that I want to get captured quickly while I'm driving. Dictation is the safest method for this, but to do an audio note in Evernote, it's quite a few key clicks and you have to name it and tag it - which is very dangerous to do at 80mph on the expressway. There should be an icon for "one touch audio note" where it will give it default tags, dump it to a predetermined notebook for organizing later. You can safely while driving pick up your phone, touch one icon and start talking. This also needs to store those notes locally until you get to a place where you have good data connection.
