I'm moving some notes from one account to another using ENEX and I'm getting a bunch of notes with no names, even though all the original ones were named. Last Windows client Where could be the problem?

Is there a solution to the untitled attachment error? If you copy an image from another note and paste it into a new note, The image is not visible and an untitled attachment error occurs. I am currently using the latest version. 10.79.3 This problem also occurred when using the previous version.

I have an employee who is using the online EN. She is under a shared plan with me and I paid a subscription on her behalf. Everything works well except for her access to pdfs within the notes. Most of her pdfs show up in the normal way and she can open, save or print them. However, some are showing up with the name "untitled attachment" even though the note has a title. Those pdfs can not be opened no matter what she does. They appear to be html files and not pdfs. If we try "convert to pdf" or something similar we can see some of it (perhaps the first page) but it still doesn't turn into a real pdf. Those particular pdfs all seem to come from a 3rd party source that we use, Hellofax. They send all of our faxes to a notebook on my EN and I have no problem seeing them as pdfs on my desktop. The problem is just with her online EN and inability to open those pdfs. Anyone know what the issue is here? Thanks in advance.

I exported a notebook to ENEX format and then imported to another account. When importing lots of the notes (but not all) show 'Untitled Note'. All the notes from the source had titles. Anyone seen this? -
Opened app (10.82.0) on my phone this morning (which must have auto updated itself) & it now has a new look which won't let me access shortcuts & NONE of my attachments are available!!!!!! -
I'm using on iPhone and it looks like its going to save then suddenly changes to untitled which makes it pointless. Nothing in the body previews either. I haven't used it for several months but don't recall ever having this problem. All of my old notes look just fine. Grrr... anyone encountered and solved before? -
Hi all, As the topic states - currently experiencing some trouble to open some PDFs recently uploaded and it keeps giving the message the files are "untitled attachment". Also tried to save it to desktop but wouldn't even allow me to save anything ... Was wondering if there's a solution ? Thanks.

Hi, Recently discovered I have a few PDFs uploaded on EN that are showing as "untitled attachment" and it wouldn't allow me to either open or download these PDFs. Was wondering if anyone has similar experience or solution ? Also tried to export the whole note as suggested by someone else but it didn't work. Was trying to contact EN support but all their options are for account-related questions, so it points me back to posting my issue here..

If I am using Evernote as a word processor and draft a letter and wish to print it and only wish to print the note contents EN unfortunately prints the Untitled header too at the top of the Note. It is not needed. If unfilled don't print or make it a user pref to. Thanks -
Hello, I previously added a pdf attachment to one of my notes and have been editing and annotating it for the last few days. I just opened my note to continue working through the attachment but it no longer appears within the note as it had the last few days. Now, it appears as an "Untitled Attachment" and I'm unable to view it, open it, download it, or edit/annotate it. This is true no matter which Mac device I'm using and regardless of whether I try to access it from my browser or from the Evernote app. It seems that all of my work has been lost. Please help! I'm not sure 1) why my pdf is suddenly unavailable or 2) how to restore my work

I have been recording my lectures at college using an Android device with the latest version of Evernote. Yesterday, two of my classes synced with no problems, but the 10am class recording (around 90MB) has synced, but there is no audio file in the note - there is an attachment showing, but there is no data. I try to download the audio on the Android phone on which it was made, but the app gives an error saying "unable to download the selected item". The "attachment" appears in the web client and on Mac desktop, but I cannot download the attachment, nor can I rename it. The other two notes have sizes of 89MB, but this 10am note reports it's size as 185 bytes. Is there any way to recover the recording? -
New install of "new" EN after clinging to Legacy. Having repeated issues with large attachments notably MS Excel spreadsheets ~13MB reporting as "Untitled Attachment", not responsive to attempted open/save/download. Similar issues noted with some PDFs. Serious data loss if this is permanent. I'm guessing it's not - some sort of re-encoding going on? Can someone explain this to me? - At least one of the botched spreadsheets magically resurrected itself a day after the botch. - The botch seems to occur upon first opening (with editing/re-save) of the attachments. /tmm -
Hello, I have a problem related to all the tasks I created in the past. Today they suddenly disappeared. The attached screenshot is from Windows application, but my tasks are also missing from the web application and from the Android application. Can someone help me to recover them?

My Note Titles keep reverting back to "Untitled" in the "Note info" section of my documents. Why? How can I stop this from happening? -
Since people use Evernote for different uses, sometimes it's not necessary to specify a note title. However, "Untitled" is displayed for all notes which don't have a title. This is a waste of UI screen real estate and is absolutely useless in helping users visually locate notes within a list. To make things worse, the presence of the "Untitled" text causes the note body text snippet to be truncated. Please, PLEASE, do something about this. In cases where a note title is not specified, the body text should be displayed in list view instead. The Evernote user forum has 9 pages of posts asking for a resolution to this issue. There are over 450 user requests about this that date back to 2008. That's 11 years, with nothing being done about it. I do like Evernote for the most part, but it's really not maintaining its competitive edge. -
Hello everyone, I've been a user of Evernote for years but since the last update a lot of the pictures in my old notes have started to disappear and become 'untitled attachment' (see picture). When i tried to open them they are just text files. Similarly if I try to copy an old picture into a new note it become an untitled file on the new note as well. Can someone help me with this ? The images I copied from websites (using right-click, copy image operations) and pasted in the Notes got broken as untitled attachment and not shown anymore after some time. I'm not sure exactly about the timing when this occurred but I seems to be after I switched to another notes or logged out of the Evernote once. Other images which were pasted by other operations like attaching local saved photos or pasting photos from the Windows snipping tool have no problem. I've experienced this issue in both the web client (Chrome on Windows10) and in the Android app. I've searched the discussion threads and found that the image pasted like my case is not the real image but the URL link to that image which may be broken. Still I haven't found the solutions. Is there any workaround on this issue? Thank you very much in advance.

Make a new note and it's titled "Untitled Note". 99.99% of the time it's going to change so these two words must be selected. But on a phone when you double-tap it selects a word, not both words, which would be a triple-tap, which I think most people don't know. So why not just make it one word ... "Note". Is there really any confusion if it doesn't say "Untitled"? ... Didn't I just make it? ... Would someone ever title a bunch of notes as "Note" and then get confused and blame Evernote? No! ... ... and I think this new Evernote is just magnificent.

Hello there I don't have business account or business notebook but when I want to delete some of my untitled notes This error appears on the screen! I have some "untitled notes" that could not be deleted and some of them have sync issue too. I tested any sync solution I've found in the internet, but doesn't solve the problem. I have these "untitled notes" and sync issue just in windows version and everything is fine in my mobile device! How can I fix the problem? Thank you.

I was trying to create notes via scribble in my Ipad(6th generation). After syncing it to my macbook air(mojave 10.14.5), all the images notes have been converted to broken untitled attachment. After going through all the posts in discussion forum, I did try the following steps: Quite evernote and restart it Uninstall my evernote(10.8.5) and install latest one(10.9.10) for mac However, the problem still persisted. Interestingly, I am able to access my images from web version. So, it seems like a mac version problem to me. I am attaching the screenshot of my mac evernote.

I must be mistaken..Evernote is touted as the biggest note app out there and all my notes come up as 'untitled note' as the app doesn't take the first line of the note as the title. I must be wrong? Surely they have not missed this basic feature? It's part of the ease of use and workflow built into every app, surely the developers thought of this? There have been so many updates for iOS, did i download an old version? Please tell me I'm wrong as this is bonkers to not have this feature. Why do i have to go through an extra step every time i create a note to add a title? Onenote has this. It seems to start at random times when I scan a photo via the iOS app, but then the problem proliferates. The note will refuse to accept any updates, lose all my data that I'd scanned in including the photo, and then becomes undeleteable. Yep, complete data loss AND phantom garbage. I seemed to remember there was like a span of a few months when Evernote would take the first line of an untitled note as the title for some reason it doesn't happen anymore. Was it ever there or did I mess up the setting or has this function been taken away?
