I had been using checkboxes for years, some time ago there was an update that changed its behaviour and there are still bugs. In my case, I have a full list of check boxes. When I press `enter` at the end of a line (to continue creating new items) it automatically changes the whole list into tasks and highlights the bottom of check lists. I would say it has been developed a new task feature, so there are tasks and checkboxes available, but there is still only a check list feature which call the new feature tasks. Therefore there is a kind of lists calling the old feature check box missing and when using this old feature now calls the new one through the list and arises the bug.
