I too, same problem. I emptied my Trash notebook & Uninstalled/Reinstalled Android Evernote. This drastically helped (now less duplicate notes, faster save for notes greater than 19MB.)

I too have the duplicated note problem. I emptied my Trash notebook and Uninstalled/Reinstalled Evernote on Android. This drastically reduced the duplicate note problem. 😀 Now, edited saves are quicker and #of duplicated notes & frequency of duplicates has drastically reduced.

When I now start Evernote, I am presented with an empty screen with a logo -- I call this the logo page. I now have to click this logo page to see my note list -- this is an extra step. So I click the logo page and then select a note. Then I go to another app for a quick view, then return to Evernote to discover the logo page is again presented, so again I have to click this stupid logo page, then click my note to discover my last position is lost thus forcing me to scroll a LARGE note again. This is an incredible lost of my time & is extremely frustrating when doing these steps every 2 to 3 minutes. In addition to make matters worse, this latest update causes a lag of 3 to 4 seconds to view a note -- that's 3 to 4 seconds after clicking the stupid logo page, 3 to 4 seconds after clicking a note or to switch between notes (I do the latter often). This latest update is so frustrating I am thinking of uninstalling Evernote and using something else. 😞 Last night's stupid marketing efforts was the last straw which, in turn caused me to trigger this post. I was receiving a pop-up Evernote Premium Ad within 4 to 5 seconds after clicking the logo page. I was not having enough time to type even 4 characters in my note. This ad had no close/exit link which forced me to EXIT Evernote and restart Evernote which caused this irrating Ad to appear again. Finally, I clicked the Ad's 7 day free trial link for the sole purpose to post this issue. I am now going to cancel this free trial immediately. Evernote has now become a very unfriendly atmosphere with questionable marketing ethics.
