About mmmore

  1. I guess I'm in the minority, but I'm quite happy with the new Evernote client on iOS. At least, starting from version 8.1 its now stable on my devices without any iTunes login prompts. And I like the new interface which makes everything easy to find. Especially filtering based on tags works much nicer now.
  2. The release notes indicate that Evernote for iOS 8.0.3 fixes a crash at startup. But for me this problem actually started with version 8.0.3, while I didn't suffered from this problem in previous versions. The Evernote app is now broken; it crashes every time I tap on the app icon. Even after a restart of my phone. I didn't yet try to complete delete the app and reinstall it. I own an iPhone 6 running on iOS 10.2.1. If the Evernote staff needs additional information from my side to troubleshoot, just let me know.
  3. Since the release of 5.90 tables work allot better. And I mean allot!!! Still improvements can be made, but being able to do simple resizing of colums is really nice. Formatting of tables I still do in Word. Then copy the table to EN. It's not ideal, but it works.
  4. I feel your pain. There are many other threads in this forum with people complaining about tables in the Evernote client for Windows. I simply do not understand why the Evernote crew has ignored this for so long and doesn't give the users any outlook when improvements are coming (if it's ever coming at all). I'm slowly switching to Microsoft OneNote because it has so many more easy ways to format your notes, including tables. Perhaps in time I will leave Evernote all together. Hopefully improvements to the Windows client comes soon so that saying goodbye won't be necessary.
  5. I totally agree with August. I would like to save some of my notebooks to the cloud. They contain big files which I do not want/need on my laptop with small SSD disk. There should be an option to select the notebooks that you want to download or sync locally. Or perhaps an option to only sync the 'headers' of the notes, together with the Index. This way you could search all your notes, and only download the content of a note (or the attachments/images) when you need to. With the rapid growth of data in Evernote, such a feature is becoming essential. Please Evernote crew, look into this.
  6. +1 for the selective sync option. As more and more data is put into Evernote, it's an absolute necessity to be able to choose which notebooks to sync to specific clients. I hope this will be implemented soon.
