Edit, trying to keep this thread useful: The fix of using a phone browser set to "desktop site" and logging into the evernote site is a good workaround to this issue. I hope the app works again at some point because it's easier to use, but the phone browser solution is workable.

This is an issue that some users have seen, myself included. To my knowledge there is no fix. I encourage anyone with this issue to submit a support ticket, or give more information on this thread. The best workaround I've found: Use a phone browser set to request "desktop site". Log into the evernote web app from your phone. The interface is usable, just not as easily as the app. I'm using this method as a workaround until I hear of a fix.
