  1. Seems a great improvement on the previous - which was unusable due to corruptions etc.
  2. This registry entry works well in the windows client, but its a shame the other clients seem to take no notice (web & ios).
  3. It's missing there is no method, as far as I'm aware, other than using the EN web client in something like the puffin browser app.
  4. Added lost ability to select multiple TAGS (16)
  5. To be honest I couldn't find how this feature works/worked... Am I right that you have to edit the tags as if you are are about to delete one? In any case I'll add it to the lost features list.
  6. @cwb I think you have to revoke all the application passwords not just one.... Which is a pain.
  7. Do you use Outlook? I have found having disabled the EN com add-in that I no longer have these visual issues.
  8. @alba63 To be honest most of the missing features have returned plus we have several very impressive features we didn't have before. Personally I now only really miss two features: 1. Filtered places view. Rather than seeing all your notes on the map you could filter for a specific tag like house hunting or restaurants. 2. Thumbnail image view which would give you a thumbnail for every image in a note not just one.
  9. 1 LOL 2 I think this is expected behaviour, probably waste 5 minutes a year though!
  10. Not a dumb question. It should work. Holler back here if it doesn't. Works. Very polished, what I hoped for, but didn't expect! Well done.
  11. OK looks good.... BUT stupid question. If I turn on 2fa will I be able to issue an application password so I can continue to use EN version 4.4.0 on IOS?
  12. @gazumped Agreed re Outlook 2003 hence why I was ignoring. Obviously Outlook 2010 with Windows 7 (64bit) must be quite common. I don't really feel I can report it until I nail a sequence of events that causes it. I was interested to see whether anybody else has experienced this, they may not have realised EN is in some way responsible.
  13. This is a problem I had been ignoring. About six months ago my Outlook (2003) started playing up all of sudden various visual elements wouldn't appear or scroll properly. If you exit Outlook and re-load all is well again (it might occur 2-3 times a day). I wasn't sure it was EN until today, I set up a new client on EN using Windows 7 and Outlook 2010. Two hours later he was complaining of the same issues. I have disabled the Outlook EN COM Add-in on my PC and his and the problem seems to have disappeared. Any thoughts?
  14. @Grumpy MS updated their license agreement to allow transfer see here http://blogs.office.com/b/office-news/archive/2013/03/06/office-2013-retail-license-agreement-now-transferable.aspx
  15. Here's to a Microsoft/Google style 2fa solution for EN then! Fingers crossed! :-)
  16. @Grumpy not sure how you are working but you don't need to use the outlook.com website if you have office365. You can add your outlook.com/hotmail account into Outlook within office 365. I don't think Microsoft will stop selling the perpetual license for Office 2013, you don't need to have a subscription although the home/student edition is very attractively priced for 5 devices etc. Regarding Mac Outlook it struck me, last time I looked at, that Parallels is the answer?
  17. @Grumpy yes sorry you will need the plus addon, shame as a 365 user that you don't get that too.
  18. @Grumpy I'd ask MS support to look at your account as the ads should be gone and you should see a feed for social network activity for people you are communicating with...in that window instead. I'm not recommending Onenote it's the package as a whole and how more and more polished its becoming. Outlook.com works well on the iPad..... But their 2fa is clever.... It works with the google authenticator, text message or even telephones you with a voice message with a code.
  19. Here's hoping when 2fa eventually arrives that it's not like Apple's. It only protects high level account changes/activities no protection for iCloud contacts and calendar!#? Microsoft are gaining fast. Outlook.com with 2fa is becoming a difficult product to beat. In my view Microsoft has finally moved infront of google/gmail (iCloud in 3rd place).
  20. @Edh I mention Microsoft for two reasons - 1. Microsoft's 2fa solution looks very similar in operation to Googles. Well thought through and workable on mobile clients etc. without forcing constant 2fa challenging. 2. Evernote has been thinking about 2fa for years, it should not be last to protect its similarly large user base. But agreed, make sure it works before release!..... Some hope :-)
  21. Just noticed Microsoft have implemented 2fa across all their accounts. http://blogs.technet.com/b/microsoft_blog/archive/2013/04/17/microsoft-account-gets-more-secure.aspx Very similar to Google's implementation (allowing great flexibility) and will also work with the Google authenication app (rfc6238). Time EN delivered on their promised 2FA!
  22. @Brainbuster What device and version are you using? the current version works fine as far as I can see, the cursor appears where you press.
  23. Agreed Yubikey is nice but make it optional.... And to re-iterate what you said earlier only use 2fa on all web logins and on authorising an EN clients initial installation/sync. So when using a previously installed EN App on the iPad you would not need to login with 2FA.... And in my world the same would apply to the Windows and Mac client. However these EN clients and the devices they are installed/authorised to, would be listed in your account (accessed through the web) like third party OAuth, you would then be able to deauthorise their access at will... Requiring a 2fa login to reconnect.
  24. Agreed I assumed we were talking iPad.... I too still use version 4 on the iPhone for this and other unique features!
  25. If you switch to the new snippet view you will see we now have exactly what you want!
