Thanks for the responses, clear what's the cause now. Will look to update my windows version since getting more and more problems with other software as well or try installing a previous (or legacy) version.

Today updated evernote to the last version on Windows 7 computer. Always worked perfect but now I get a "javascript error". Already removed (revo uninstall complete removal) and re-installed but same problem. Any other solutions or one of the previous versions somewhere available?
