Hello there! I was curious how other users of Evernote are using the calendar. I am actually curious. Is evernote allow itself to be a direct calendar? like connecting to a google calendar for sharing your meetings or taking meetings as notes? Also, I am curious if they are going to add a weekly view. I am looking for the agenda and chosing one day. Because I am doing everything on evernote, I wonder if they are going to improve the calendar functions or let google calendar do it. It would be nice to have a weekly view. Anyways, back to the topic: How are you utilizing the calendar?

Wait, I am from a another country so I don't even have a idea about how it's possible. From my country, I am paying almost half for the Evernote yearly professional account. I don't even have a microsoft 365 account. I am only using google docs. It's so expensive in our country most people does not buy it. Still, evernote yearly account is very cheap but because there is no regulations of ads in turkey, people tend to stick to other apps. It's a suprise for me to see evernote being almost expensive as microsoft 365. It's just a shock to me.

I checked all of my drivers to see if there was one interrapting, I checked all of my windows files to see any performance issues. Restarted the computer and it's working fine right now. I don't know how I solved it...

This is my file for failed upload attemps. As you can see here, I can't seem to attach them. I used Evernote to take this screenshots and now, there are not working proparly. I am a little frustrated because I was studying at the moment and all of my highlighted notes are gone. I could see them in the app but they did not sync and after that, when I logged in again all of them were missing.

I just did not heard anything about current situation and wanted to learn if there was something new. Mentioned Bending Spoons because It's much much closer to my country and just though "is there a slight chance of them changing some stuff?" I know about the multi-editing, it's my bad. My question started because on my computer and phone, there was always a delay between changes. Today, I noticed my phone was working very fast and on my computer I did not had any delayed actions or any sign of performance issue. I heard the news recently and though "huh? maybe this guys are doing something?" I was very off the mark. Thank you kind gentleman! have a great day!

Hey guys! It's me, again. I just wanted to ask if there was any other news because I noticed some really good performance on Evernote, Recently. After the "Bending Spoons" I really don't know the current situation but I guess there is a slight improvement. My main issue was always performance. Now, I can't see any duplicate notes or anything else. Is there a performance improvment? did you noticed something similar?

Just want to make sure, what happens if it duplicates on the same device. I am editing a ntoe on my computer, it sometimes duplicates withouth a warning.

Well, I though Whenever We use Evernote, it keeps some of the data to local posts in order to launch faster and don't spend time on working with Servers. Last day, I uploaded something from my phone and could not see the update on my desktop app. Waited... waited. Then just deleted the data on my computer and reseted it. It works but it's very slow on my case.

I hope EN is willing to change the basic frame. I know it's a complicated update. I knew some softwares which made their basic frame as flexible as possible in order to update the server with the least delay. It was still goofy on some parts but it was VERY fast to hotfix a problem. (If you submit it in the workhours. You will see a hotfix two hours later but this was a game i played a lot. Still the idea behind flexible basic frame is georgeus.) Still, task tables are something important but it does not destroy my workflow. I guess my way of handling tasks is making them with timers? such as if i finish a step on my workflow i go to the note, edit the next task and just see that one on my tasks window. It was much more clearer then normal ways. Still, just to be prodactive, i am curious of your workflow with EN. (I am new to it and want to learn much more!) and maybe, some people can get tips or tricks on this forum.

I know this can be silly sometimes but i prefer for tasks to has a smart understanding of writing in the dates. Like "five days later write a essay" It should figure out if the number has a description next to it like "Day/Wekk/Month" Sometimes, i just need to hop between notes quickly and sometimes, i forgot to set a deadline for some of my tasks. I noticed, todoist has this feature but we still have a long way to go with tasks. Still, i find it more easier to navigate with evernote in order to set tasks and projects. Work on them, write about them and find related information quickly. this is just a small request, which will be a very good one. I still don't know about EN's roadmap but i think they are doing a great job.

I am using Evernote for 4 years at this point. I am alright with tasks window but there is just too much information which i find a desing mistake as a desinger. My opinion is Tasks window is not very good and it should be optional. Some people use dedicated notes for their to-dos. I am more of a archiver. I am still trying to keep everything together. To see, what i need to do. First thing i wish for it to be is, priorty and subtasks. yes, we can create something similar with check-box but we still need it to show up in the tasks window so we can organize our priorties, after creating all of the tasks and subtasks. Flying out pannel is a saver in some cases, whenever i need to check i do not want to go to a totally diffirent window. Most of my time with a press of a button it just pops. Still, having it be movable around the screen could be a game-changer. I would deattach the window and use the shortcut to open that window. There is benefits to everything. It's faster to use with it's current form but it lacks the flexibilty and focus of other task managers. I am trying todoist for more focused experince but i am still doing everything on evernote. Just to check my projects and remember my tasks i push a button, todoist shows up. 2 seconds later it hides again. I just love it. I am using Evernote in order to compete with my ADHD. It helped me much more than a lot of software. In fact, i know a lot of ADHD people using it under my observation in order to organize their lives. Every one of us are telling the same thing. "Our minds are not able to focus on just task window. Whenever I open it, i just go into another task and forget my first task." I am trying other task managers in order to understand. If it can help and the answer is yes. Yes, you can manage almost all of your tasks within the time limit because of less information. Projects? done before deadlines. Chores? done. Everything just fits right with less information and wider flexibilty. We already have a note dedicated to that tasks. We just want to use the task window to see what needs to be done and where we can find information about it. withouth auto-control of our minds, we are able to easily get lost in task window with the amount of information. I still love Evernote. They are the best.

Most of my large tasks just goes down the list. Which i archive them for future use but you gave me a idea. Thank you! It's still going to be date sorted for archive with one note for each week but this time i am going to unite all the notes i created in the note, in order to keep all my archive in just one notebook. Weekly note archive is my way to go with just one note per week 😅 Like i said before, use another archive for my daily mood trackers etc. It's direct sync to the drive. I should create more notes in order to feel more satisfied i guess.

I am doing the same just in a diffirent manner... I am using google drive as a backup for most of the time. I can easily convert them to notes again. This way, i am trying to keep my quick search bar clean. Otherwise whenever i look for a date i would see a file for diffirent times. So i am just trying to be as clean as possbile while storing information. Using google drive as a back-up is allowing me to use diffirent tools so i can actually use my arsenal at a bigger picture. At the end of the several days, there is a task of mine which reminds me to clear my notebook in order to keep it simple. But i am still keeping all the information needed in a back-up file on drive.Completed tasks! there. Recepiets! there. Meetings or projects! all checked.

4 years here, just tapping 100 notes... I still don't know how you guys managed to even 60k notes...
