  1. Well... It did work once. Now I do get "an error occurred during execution" each time I try to use the shortcut Grrrrrrrr 😞
  2. @scojjac: your second screenshot made my day!! 😃 This is it!! Thanks a lot. I did not realize that and how to change the input options - SILLY ME So new statement: There IS a way to input text into a new note into Evernote - Hurray
  3. Thanks for this. Yes, I know and use this feature whenever needed. What puzzles me is that there ARE shortcuts on the IPhone to be used for Evernote, such as appending or prepending to a note. But the choice of a specific note does not really work. And I would have guessed that creating a note should have been a basic... Apparently it is not.
  4. Well, there have been ways to do this easily in the past. And I do not see the problem on the iOS part... 😐 So automating things in Evernote on iDevices currently needs to include other apps to solve this task.
  5. I am wondering if anyone managed to create a shortcut on the IPhone (current iOS) to insert a new note (with genuine own text!) into Evernote (current version)? I cannot find a way to do this. Only four (or so) possibilities (date, device info...) are offered, as far as I can see... 🤫
  6. You are right. I am well aware of such discussions. And you are also right that EN has some really good features which are worth sticking to it... This is why I will try to adjust my wishes to the existing possibilities... 😉
  7. Well, as I said: It is from my point of view. I am working with Evernote since 2008 and do find the new editor a little bit too simple compared to what is (theoretically) possible and to what is existing "out there". Let's hope that some of the feature requests find their way into the design quite soon. 😉
  8. well... not really... 🤨 sad but true. Thanks for your answer!
  9. Thanks for the reply. Evernote is a great tool, but the editor functionality did not really improve over the years - from my point of view. Getting accustomed to work with work arounds is not what I am after... 😎
  10. Thanks for your reply. OK, I will try to go with your advice, though I do think using a template with a specific font should make sure to have the chosen font "by default" all the time...
  11. When I am using a personal template with another font than "sans serif" everything works fine until I do insert a picture. After the insert the font has switched to "sans serif" and I have to adjust it manually again... 🙄 Can I avoid this?
  12. Hello all, I couldn't figure it out yet: is it possible to change the background color of a note in Evernote? If so, how? Thanks for some advice.
