Hello everyone. I am a paid subscriber who uses Evernote for many years – and through these years I had really A LOT of moments when I had thoughts like "ok, this was the last straw – count me out". There were so many reasons to do that – especially terrible syncing issues, freezing on a completely new laptop, disappearing tasks and various bugs (not mentioning that I never obtained any answer from tech support after sending them an email) – but I never did it for real.
After the recent announcement of price rise (going from 6,99 € to 12,99 € is really not cool) I thought that Evernote will do everything to justify this step and everything will go smooth. But again, no.
I just finished a note just to find out the half of it is gone. No note history, half of the content missing in every device, nothing.
So "thank you" very much. Dear Evernote team, I can guarantee that each of us here is a VERY patient user (otherwise we would not be here, trust me). But treating us like this – asking for 13 € every month and giving us zero data safety and loses in return – is a very very very very VERY last straw.
PLEASE, fix these serious issues. Otherwise see you (hopefully not) in paperland.
